The UIOWA spoke was implemented on SHRINE 1.20.1 on the test spoke (not
the prod spoke), but they are still having some network traffic issues.
Once these issues are resolved, we can verify against the prod hub.

UIOWA test spoke outbound to UW Health prod hub inbound is ALLOWED
 - when UIOWA spoke initiates a cohort, they can see the count of others,
 but not their own count
 - when WISC spoke initiates a cohort, we can see the counts of others,
 except UIOWA
UW Health prod hub outbound to UIOWA test spoke inbound is BLOCKED
UIOWA prod spoke outbound to UW Health test hub inbound is BLOCKED
UW Health test hub outbound to UIOWA prod spoke inbound is BLOCKED

Nick, please triage this to your network admin. Thank you.

New description:

A dynamic IP address was setup for incoming SHRINE requests on the
production UTHSCSA spoke, so therefore, the hub could not connect to the
 UTHSCSA spoke.

This is the latest details I've gotten from UTHSCA's network
 administrator.

"The IP address of snowshrine.uthscsa.edu, is going change. It will
become 129.111.23.172 for both inbound and snowshrine originated traffic."

An nmap scan on 8/8/17 indicates that traffic on port 6443 is still being
filtered for UTHSCSA incoming traffic. Incoming traffic from UTHSCSA to
UW Health is fine on the prod hub.

[gpc-informatics] #627: New custom authentication provider at MCW blocking SHRINE requests to i2b2

MCW has had SHRINE 1.20.1 implemented. But as of a couple weeks ago, a
new authentication provider was implemented, and started interrupting
SHRINE requests coming from the forward proxy only. MCW's i2b2 server
does not respond to SHRINE spoke adapter requests when MCW initiates a
query. But when other sites initiate a query in SHRINE, the MCW spoke
 responds fine.

George, please triage this ticket to you the system administrator for the
MCW i2b2 server that deployed the custom authentication source code.

An nmap scan on 8/8/17 indicates that traffic on port 6443 is still being
filtered for UTSCSA incoming traffic. Incoming traffic from UTSCSA to UW
Health is fine on the prod hub.

New description:

To avoid having your spoke crash from log file growth, I'd like to get a
response from the SNOW SHRINE spoke administrators from each GPC site with
the amount of disk space allocated on your server. If you have less than
30GB, you should talk to your system administrator to setup Logical Volume
Management, or simply add more disk space to the existing logical group
being used. If your server crashes, it will also affect the other 10
sites connected to the hub, so we'd like to avoid this if possible.

If SHRINE is implemented on a Linux server, please run the following
command on your SHRINE server(s) and your site abbreviation.

 df -BG

MCRF and MU can simply respond with disk space allocated for the drive
letters storing SHRINE and i2b2 application files.

Grant reviewers:

Somewhere in the range of 2-4 sentences describing the basis for the numerical
score is adequate.

Hope that helps. Thanks.

Comment (by dconnolly):

Steve, Jim Campbell and Tom Mish would like to know how much narrative is
expected in the reviews.

They find providing the numeric scores straightforward.
