Which file does the server automatically execute when te round is over? Because everytime I load the variable bot_quota 2, the server gets 2 bots, but when the round is over the bots dissapear again... :| I've checked, and the bot_quota variable gets changed to 0 again on round end (or start) Ive added the config almost like below, but then with 2 bots instead of 8, to my server.cfg. Re: [hlds] alfred
Clayton, In response to your cynical learn to read message to Xanax: I have read every one of these email messages, and it has not at been clear if VAC was actively banning mods other than CS:S, or what the beta mode and launch line switch (-vacbeta) was doing vis-a-vis actual banning. The last patch updates were specifically addressed ONLY to CS:S, and did not make it at all clear that non-CS:S server admins should have downloaded the binaries and that HL2-DM is now being protected by VAC2, nor that us HL2DM admins should be removing the -vacbeta switch. To me the -vacbeta meant that they were still collecting information and testingnot that they started banning with servers running that switch. In summary, I think he had a good questionat least from my perspective as someone who has no interest in reading CS:S forums. I'm also glad that Alfred clarified that the HL2DM admins should do a patch updatebut I can tell you that since none of these last patches were addressed to HL2DM (what else is new), I doubt any of them have patched. - Original Message - From: Clayton Macleod [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: hlds@list.valvesoftware.com Sent: Tuesday, July 19, 2005 3:51 PM Subject: Re: [hlds] alfred learn to read On 7/19/05, [EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: -- Is vac still beta? and if not will we be notified by the steam update news -- Clayton Macleod ___ To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, please visit: http://list.valvesoftware.com/mailman/listinfo/hlds ___ To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, please visit: http://list.valvesoftware.com/mailman/listinfo/hlds
