Re: [IAEP] Phasing out Google Apps

Thanks for that Kevin

Bernie, is there any chance you could extend the deadline? I have 2
mailboxes to do including our main PR contact one, and that would have
to be tomorrow, and I already have a very full schedule for tomorrow.

I guess this means no web access for those accounts? so I have to
dedicate a computer for those

I also have no idea what the volume of the mailboxes is... I suspect
not large, but if they are it could take some time to download the
inboxes and sentboxes

thanks

Sean

That will set Thunderbird to read your mail.  At that point, selecting

straightforward (assuming you've worked with Thunderbird or similar
enough to know how to create folders and move messages into them.)

A web search also turns up fairly good instructions for how to do the
same with the text-based mailer Mutt...

Yes, no problem.

You could move all that mail into two folders on another gmail account.
Then, you could setup a filtering rule to sort all incoming messages
addressed to the sugarlabs.org accounts into those folders.

The actual terminology might be different, I'm not very familiar with
gmail.
