the ServerPac dialog, if you use it, can provide an FMID list and a list of products and product numbers in your order, otherwise IIRC z/OSMF can provide a list of products once you add the CSI to the software inventory Carmen On 5/19/2022 11:31 AM, CarlosM wrote: Can anyone point me at a JCL example that would list all software installed on my MVS system? this is done Via SMP? Re: Software Inventory
In general I know what is installed, what is licensed, how is it licensed, etc. I did some inventory for that, including software bundles, sub-bundles and components down to every FMID installed. Regarding description - I don't need that, but I created few for less obvious entries. It was quite simple - I ordered everything, installed everything except three ISV products, dispatched administration duties, talked to auditors, etc. -- Radoslaw Skorupka (looking for new job) Lodz, Poland W dniu 04.05.2021 o 17:14, Steely.Mark pisze: This is a general question what do you use for software inventory - package, ISPF, excel spreadsheet etc for Mainframe only.
