Bismillah [IslamCity] JEWISH SECRET POLICE APPOINTS IMAMS IN PALESTINE!

JEWISH SECRET POLICE APPOINTS IMAMS IN PALESTINE!
December 7, 2008

THIS GUY WILL DO. OVER AND OUT!

The Shin Bet security service has confirmed for the first time that it
regularly intervenes in the appointment of Muslim clergymen to public office,
Haaretz has learned.

The issue surfaced after the state recently declined to appoint Sheikh Ahmed
Abu Awaja to serve as Imam at Jaffa's Jabalya mosque, even though Abu Awaja was
the only certified candidate to fit the threshold requirements. When he
appealed to the Tel Aviv Labor Court against the decision not to hire him, the
district prosecutor's office told the court that according to the assessments
of the Shin Bet, the claimant's appointment to serve as an imam on behalf of
the Ministry of Interior may jeopardize security and peace in Jaffa, especially
in view of the sensitivity of the delicate relationship between the city's
Jewish and Muslim populations.

When queried by Haaretz for further explanations, the Shin Bet said: Abu Awaja
is the head of the northern Islamic Movement in Jaffa. According to the power
vested in the Shin Bet, the service has supplied the Interior Ministry and the
Civil Service Commission with information showing that Abu Awaja has had a long
involvement in hostile activity, which manifested itself in incitement against
the state and its Jewish citizens.

The ideology of the Islamic Movement is closely related to that of its mother
organization - the Muslim Brotherhood. The northern branch, which is considered
more radical than the southern branch, does not recognize Israel's right to
exist, with the ultimate goal of the state being replaced by an Islamic state.
The branch has declared its preparedness to use Israel's institutions to
satisfy immediate needs.

Abu Awaja, 34, started acting as imam in Jaffa at the age of 19, making him the
youngest imam in Israel - and some say in the entire Middle East. The married
father of four children has been acting as de facto imam at Jabalya mosque for
the past two years, since the last imam passed away.

Jaffa - which has a growing population of 16,000 Arabs, most of whom are
Muslim, and a shrinking population of 30,000 Jews - has eight mosques, six of
which are active. Three are publicly funded by the Interior Ministry, which
selects imams by government tender. The imam administers the five daily prayers
at the mosque, and serves as a religious authority based on Muslim scriptures.

Abu Awaja's attorneys say that after their client applied for the tender and
before he took the entrance exam - which he passed - Abu Awaja was summoned for
a meeting with a Shin Bet agent at Jaffa's police station.

At the meeting, the agent questioned the applicant about the subjects of his
sermons and events he attended. When Abu Awaja asked the agent whether there
was any point in going ahead with the application, the agent advised him to do
what he thinks best, and informed him that the identity of the imam at Jabalya
will ultimately be determined the Shin Bet.

Bismillah [IslamCity] Women's Liberation through Islam

2009-01-20 Thread adil naveed
Women's Liberation through Islam

Today people think that women are liberated in the West and that thewomen's
liberation movement began in the 20th century. Actually, thewomen's liberation
movement was not begun by women but was revealed by Godto a man in the seventh
century by the name of Muhammad (peace be uponhim), who is known as the last
Prophet of Islam. The Qur'an and theTraditions of the Prophet (Hadith or
Sunnah) are the sources from whichevery Muslim woman derives her rights and
duties.

I. HUMAN RIGHTS
Islam, fourteen centuries ago, made women equally accountable to God
inglorifying and worshipping Him - setting no limits on her moral progress.
Also, Islam established a woman's equality in her humanity with men.
In the Qur'an, in the first verse of the chapter entitled Women, Godsays, O
mankind! Be careful of your duty to your Lord Who created youfrom a single soul
and from it its mate and from them both have spreadabroad a multitude of men
and women. Be careful of your duty toward Allahin Whom you claim (your rights)
of one another, and towards the wombs (that bore you). Lo! Allah has been a
Watcher over you. (4:1)
Since men and women both came from the same essence, they are equal in their
humanity. Women cannot be by nature evil (as some religious believe) or then
men would be evil also. Similarly, neither gender can be superior because it
would be a contradiction of equality.

II. CIVIL RIGHTS
In Islam, a woman has the basic freedom of choice and expression based on
recognition of her individual personality. First, she is free to choose her
religion. The Qur'an states: There is no compulsion in religion. Right has
been made distinct from error. (2:256)
Women are encouraged in Islam to contribute their opinions and ideas. There are
many traditions of the Prophet () which indicate women would pose questions
directly to him and offer their opinions concerning religion, economics and
social matters.
A Muslim woman chooses her husband and keeps her name after marriage. A Muslim
woman's testimony is valid in legal disputes. In fact, in areas in which women
are more familiar, their evidence is conclusive.

III. SOCIAL RIGHTS
The Prophet () said: Seeking knowledge is a mandate for every Muslim (male and
female). This includes knowledge of the Qur'an and the Hadith as well as other
knowledge. Men and women both have the capacity for learning and understanding.
Since it is also their obligation to promote good behavior and condemn bad
behavior in all spheres of life, Muslim women must acquire the appropriate
education to perform this duty in accordance with their own natural talents and
interests.
While maintenance of a home, providing support to her husband, and bearing,
raising and teaching of children are among the first and very highly regarded
roles for a woman, if she has the skills to work outside the home for the good
of the community, she may do so as long as her family obligations are met.
Islam recognizes and fosters the natural differences between men and women
despite their equality. Some types of work are more suitable for men and other
types for women. This in no way diminishes either's effort nor its benefit. God
will reward both sexes equally for the value of their work, though it may not
necessarily be the same activity.
Concerning motherhood, the Prophet () said: Heaven lies under the feet of
mothers. This implies that the success of a society can be traced to the
mothers that raised it. The first and greatest influence on a person comes from
the sense of security, affection, and training received from the mother.
Therefore, a woman having children must be educated and conscientious in order
to be a skillful parent.

IV. POLITICAL RIGHTS
A right given to Muslim women by God 1400 years ago is the right to vote. On
any public matter, a woman may voice her opinion and participate in politics.
One example, narrated in the Qur'an (60:12), is that Muhammad () is told that
when the believing women come to him and swear their allegiance to Islam, he
must accept their oath. This established the right of women to select their
leader and publicly declare so. Finally, Islam does not forbid a woman from
holding important positions in government. Abdur-Rahman Ibn Auf consulted many
women before he recommended Uthman Ibn Affan to be the Caliph.

V. ECONOMIC RIGHTS
The Qur'an states: By the creation of the male and female; Verily, (the ends)
ye strive for are diverse. (92:3-4)
In these verses, God declares that He created men and women to be different,
with unique roles, functions and skills. As in society, where there is a
division of labor, so too in a family; each member has different
responsibilities. Generally, Islam upholds that women are entrusted with the
nurturing role, and men, with the guardian role. Therefore, women are given the
right of financial support.
The Qur'an states: Men are the maintainers of women because

Zina

[ADULTERY/FORNICATION]

Allâh Ta’âla says:

And do not go near zina. It is indeed a shameful and an evil path. (Surah Al
Isrâ’, Ayah 32)

Allâh Ta’âla says:

The woman and the man guilty of fornication - lash each of them with a hundred
lashes. Let not compassion move you in their case, in a matter prescribed by
Allâh, if you believe in Allâh and the Last day and let a group of believers
witness their punishment. (Surah Al-Nûr, Ayah 2)

Rasûlullah said: …adultery of the eyes is when it looks at that which is
Harâm; adultery of the ears is when it listens to that which is Harâm; adultery
of the tongue is when it utters Harâm; adultery of the hands is when it touches
Harâm; adultery of the feet is when it walks towards Harâm; adultery of the
heart is when it desires and hopes for that which is Harâm; adultery of the
private parts is when it succumbs to that which is Harâm. (Targhib wa Tarhîb)

From the above Hadîth it is clear and apparent that Islam forbids not only the
act of adultery but all acts that invite and encourage the act of zina. Islam
shuts the door to the root of every evil.

Nabî said: There are three such people with whom Allâh Ta’âla will not speak
to (with words of mercy and kindness) nor will Allâh Ta’âla look at them (with
eyes of mercy) nor will Allâh Ta’ala purify them, and for them is a painful
punishment:

An old person who commits zina.
A king or leader who is exceptionally deceptive (he lies a lot).
A needy person who is proud. (Muslim)

Once Nabî remarked, A dayyûth [cuckold] will never enter Jannah. The Sahâba
enquired, Who is a Dayyûth? Nabî replied, A man who is not bothered about
who visits his wife. (Sunnats)

Touching a Strange Woman with Lust

It has been reported that the person who touches a strange woman with lust, on
the day of resurrection his hands will be shackled to his neck. If he kissed
her, his lips will be cut off and thrown in the fire of Jahannum. If he
committed adultery then his thighs will bear witness to it and testify against
him on the Day of Qiyâmat. It will say to him, I was mounted for something
impermissible. Allâh will look at him with anger. The flesh of his face will
fall off and he will proclaim What did I do? His tongue will testify and say,
I spoke to whom it was not permissible for you to talk to. His legs will
testify, I walked towards something unlawful. His hands will testify I held
something which was prohibited for you. His eyes will testify I gazed at
unlawful things. His private parts will testify I committed the act. An
angel will say, I heard it while another will say, I’ve written it down.
Allâh will say I was aware of it and I
concealed it. Then Allâh will say to the angels Let him taste of my
punishment. My anger has increased on one who has no shame. (Kitâb-ul-Kaba’ir)

In a Hadîth narrated by Samurah (RA) regarding a dream of Nabî , it is
mentioned that Jibra’îl and Mikâ’îl (AS) came to Nabî .

Nabî says: We walked until we came to something that looked like an oven. Its
top section was narrow and the inside was broad. From it sounds of screaming
and noise was heard.

Nabî further says: We looked inside and we saw naked men and women. We also
saw flames from beneath them. When these flames scorched them, they screamed.
I asked Jibra’îl (AS): Who are these people? He replied, These are the males
and females who committed the grave act of zina. This will be their punishment
till the day of Qiyâmat. (Bukhari)

Homosexuality and its Disastrous Consequences

The Qur’ân has mentioned the story of the nation of Lût (AS) in this regard.
Hence Nabî said: I fear for my nation that they become involved in the act of
the nation of Lut u, and whosoever does such an action is accursed. Then Nabî
said thrice: May Allâh curse the person who does the act of the nation of Lut
(AS). (Kitâb-ul-Kabair)

Hadîth Warns Parents

Rasûlullah has said: When he attains maturity get him married. If he attains
maturity and his father does not get him married, (and as a result commits a
sin,) this sin falls upon the father.

Therefore, once a child becomes bâligh (of age) and mentally matured, parents
and guardians should not delay in getting them married.

It is Harâm for boys and girls to court. The parents will be sinful if they
allow strange men or boys to visit the females of their homes. Parents should
not take any command of Allâh Ta’âla lightly.

Rasûlullah Speaks to Youth

Rasûlullah said: O young men, who amongst you can afford to get married,
should marry, for this will be a means of restraining the eyes from casting an
evil glance and keeping one pure and chaste. (Mishkât)

Rasûlullah encouraged young men to become married so that they be saved from
sin and the wrath of Allâh.

The Harms of Zina [Adultery/Fornication] are Manifold

Allâh Ta’âla becomes very angry.
The reckoning in the hereafter will be very severe.

Giving Assistance To Those Who Call To The Authentic Sunnah
Imaam Barbahaaree (rahimahullaah) said: 'Whoever realizes what the innovators
have abandoned of the Sunnah and left behind and he clings to it, he is a
person of the Sunnah and the Jamaa'ah.  He should be followed, helped and
protected.  He is one of those whom the Prophet (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam)
bequeathed should be looked after'[1]
Sheikh Saaleh al Fawzaan (hafidha-hullaah) commented saying: that is [in the
saying of the Messenger (sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam)]: 'They are those upon
that which I and my Companions are upon today'
He (sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) advised that one should be with them, with
this Jamaa'ah, with this company of people, with this group; which is upon that
which the Messenger (sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) and his Companions were
upon.  However, this requires two affairs:
The First Affair Is: Knowledge; that we learn that which the Messenger
(sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) and his Companions were upon.  As for the
Jaahil, he does not learn, whilst thinking that what the one in opposition is
upon is what the Messenger was upon, when that is not the case.
The Second Affair Is: To be firm upon that which the Messenger (sallallaahu
'alayhi wa sallam) and his Companions were upon; because the one who traverses
upon the sunnah will receive grief, trouble and intimidation from the people;
but he must exercise patience and not turn away from the truth.  He does not
bargain (the truth) nor leaves anything of it; and for that reason it has been
reported about the one who holds upon his Religion at the end of time, that he
is like one holding onto a burning coal or prickles; due to what he will
receive of hardship, grief and trouble from the people.  So he requires
patience.[2]

Bismillah [IslamCity] Young Marriage of `ishah(R)

2009-01-20 Thread adil naveed
Young Marriage of `Âishah(R)
-
Sadly we currently see the efforts of the Christian missionary activity focused
primarily on derailing Islam now more than any other period in history. Thus,
we witness numerous travesties and parodies coming from them in their attempts
to twist, manipulate and totally abuse historical and etymological facts. These
polemics range from a variety of the utterly hilarious to the outright abusive
and cruel. One such dishonest Christian missionary polemic has been the
allegation of the young marriage of `Âishah(R) to the Prophet Muhammad(P). The
missionaries try to accuse the Prophet of being a child molester, albeit in
politically correct terms, due to the fact that `Âishah(R) was betrothed
(zawaj) at the age of 6 years old and the marriage was consummated (nikâh) a
few years after the marriage at 9 years old when she was in full puberty. The
lapse of time between the zawaj and nikâh of `Âishah(R) clearly shows that her
parents were waiting for her to
reach puberty before her marriage was consummated. If it were not for the fact
that some gullible Christians have been parroting the claims without
understanding the reasons behind it, we would have not even bothered with a
refutation. Such a claim is based only on conjecture and moral relativism, and
not on fact. This article seeks to refute the allegation, insha'allah.

Puberty And Young Marriage In Semitic Culture
-
The hilarity of the whole saga of Christian missionaries accusing the
Prophet(P) of committing child molestation is that this contradicts the basic
fact that a girl becomes a woman when she begins her menstruation cycle. The
significance of menstruation that anyone with the slightest familiarity with
physiology will tell you is that it is a sign that the girl is being prepared
to become a mother.

Women reach puberty at different ages ranging from 8-12 years old depending on
genetics, race and environment. We read that

There is little difference in the size of boys and girls until the age of ten,
the growth spurt at puberty starts earlier in girls but lasts longer in boys.[1]

We also read that

The first signs of puberty occur around age 9 or 10 in girls but closer to 12
in boys[.][2]

Women in warmer environments reach puberty at a much earlier age than those in
cold environments.

The average temperature of the country or province is considered the chief
factor here, not only with regard to menstruation but as regards the whole of
sexual development at puberty.[3]

Marriage at the early years of puberty was acceptable in 7th century Arabia as
it was the social norm in all Semitic cultures from the Israelites to the Arabs
and all nations in between. According to Hâ-Talmûd Hâ-Bavlî, which the Jews
regard as their oral Torah, Sanhedrin 76b clearly states that it is
preferable that a woman be married when she has her first menses, and in
Ketuvot 6a there are rules regarding sexual intercourse with girls who have not
yet menstruated. This is further collaborated when Jim West, ThD, a Baptist
minister, observes the following tradition of the Israelites:

The wife was to be taken from within the larger family circle (usually at the
outset of puberty or around the age of 13) in order to maintain the purity of
the family line.[4]

Puberty has always been a symbol of adulthood throughout history.

Puberty is defined as the age or period at which a person is first capable of
sexual reproduction, in other eras of history, a rite or celebration of this
landmark event was a part of the culture.[5]

The renowned sexologists, R.E.L. Masters and Allan Edwards, in their study of
Afro-Asian sexual expression states the following

Today, in many parts of North Africa, Arabia, and India, girls are wedded and
bedded between the ages of five and nine; and no self-respecting female remains
unmarried beyond the age of puberty.[6]

Were There Any Objections to the Marriage of the Prophet(P) to `Âishah(R)?

The answer to this is no. There are absolutely no records from Muslim, secular,
or any other historical sources which even implicitly display anything other
than utter joy from all parties involved over this marriage. Nabia Abbott
describes the marriage of `Âishah(R) to the Prophet(P) as follows.

In no version is there any comment made on the disparity of the ages between
Mohammed and Aishah or on the tender age of the bride who, at the most, could
not have been over ten years old and who was still much enamoured with her
play.[7]

Even the well-known critical Orientalist, W. Montgomery Watt, said the
following about the Prophet's moral character:

From the standpoint of Muhammad's time, then, the allegations of treachery and
sensuality cannot be maintained. His contemporaries did not find him morally
defective in any way. On the contrary, some of the acts criticized by the
modern Westerner show that Muhammad's standards were higher than those

The right to freedom

By Dr Riffat Hassan

THE Quran is deeply concerned about liberating human beings from every kind of
bondage.

Recognising the human tendency toward dictatorship and despotism, the
Quran says with clarity and emphasis in Surah 3: 79: “It is not
conceivable that a human being unto whom God had granted revelation,
and a sound judgment, and prophethood, should thereafter have said unto
people, ‘Worship me beside God’; but rather (did he exhort them),
‘Become men of God by spreading the knowledge of the divine writ, and
by your own deep study (thereof).’”

The institution of human slavery is, of course, extremely important in
the context of human freedom. Slavery was widely prevalent in the Arab
world at the time of the advent of Islam and the Arab economy was based
on it. Not only did the Quran insist that slaves be treated in a just
and humane way, it continually urged the freeing of slaves. By laying
down, in Surah 47:4 that prisoners of war were to be set free, “either
by an act of grace or against ransom,” the Quran virtually abolished
slavery since the majority of slaves — both men and women — were
prisoners of war. Because the Quran does not state explicitly that
slavery is abolished, it does not follow that it is to be continued,
particularly in view of the numerous ways in which the Quran seeks to
eliminate this absolute evil. A book which does not give a king or a
prophet the right to command absolute obedience from other human beings
could not possibly sanction slavery in any sense of the word. The
greatest guarantee of personal freedom for a Muslim lies in the Quranic
decree that no one other than God can limit human freedom and in the
statement that “Judgment (as to what is right and what is wrong) rests
with God alone” (12: 40) . As pointed out by an eminent Pakistani
jurist, Khalid Ishaque, “The Quran gives to responsible dissent the
status of a fundamental right. In exercise of their powers, therefore,
neither the legislature nor the executive can demand unquestioning
obedience... The Prophet (PBUH), even though he was the recipient of
divine revelation, was required to consult Muslims in public affairs.
Allah addressing the Prophet says: “...and consult with them upon the
conduct of affairs. And... when thou art resolved, then put thy trust
in Allah.”

Since the principle of mutual consultation, shura, is binding, it is a
Muslim’s fundamental right, as well as responsibility, to participate
in as many aspects of community life as possible. The Quranic
proclamation in Surah 2:256, “There shall be no coercion in matters of
faith”, guarantees freedom of religion and worship. This means that,
according to the Quran, non-Muslims living in Muslim territories have
the freedom to follow their own faith and traditions without fear or
harassment.

A number of Quranic passages state clearly that the responsibility of
the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is to communicate the message of God and
not to compel anyone to believe. The right to exercise free choice in
matters of belief is unambiguously endorsed by the Quran, which also
states clearly that God will judge human beings not on the basis of
what they profess but on the basis of their belief and righteous
conduct, as indicated in Surah 2:62 which states: “Verily, those who
have attained faith (in this divine writ) as well as those who follow
the Jewish faith and the Christian, and the Sabian — all who believe in
God and the Last Day and do righteous deeds — shall have their reward
with their Sustainer: and no fear need they have, and neither shall
they grieve.”

The Quran recognises the right to religious freedom not only in the
case of other believers in God, but also in the case of non-believers
in God (if they are not aggressing against Muslims). The right to
freedom includes the right to be free to tell the truth. The Quranic
term for truth is “Haq” which is also one of God’s most important
attributes.

Standing up for the truth is a right and a responsibility which a
Muslim may not disclaim even in the face of the greatest danger or
difficulty (Surah 4:135). While the Quran commands the believers to
testify to the truth, it also instructs society not to harm persons so
testifying (Surah 2:282).

Doesn't that headline just put a
smile on your face? You're not the only one. It's great to see that the
significant human effort augmented by billions of dollars invested in
Pakistan's IT infrastructure and skill-development are bearing tangible
fruit. There are several areas where Pakistan is leading the pack already,
and others where it is threatening to.

Pakistan is the most connected country in South
   Asia, with the highest
   teledensity
Pakistan's communications costs are lower than any
   other country in the region
Pakistan has the world's largest biometric
   database (NADRA);
this system (not the data)  is now being provided to allied
   countries
   Pakistan has the world's
   largest WiMAX network

Pakistan has one of the world's
most aggressive Fibre-to-the- Home (FTTH) rollouts
Pakistan has one of the highest rates of cellular
connectivity growth in the world (According to PTA 2007's report the rate
of growth in Pakistan's mobile sector is fourth highest in the world)
   Pakistan was
the winner of the 2007 GSM industry association award
   The US
is importing UAVs designed and built in Pakistan to protect America's
borders
With WLL (CDMA), WiMAX, GSM and FTTH, Pakistan is
pretty much leading the pack in terms of diversity and breadth of
   connectivity
   According to Gartner, Pakistan
is a first category offshoring location; this ranking has grown by
leaps and bounds

   Pakistani companies won
several awards at Asia's APICTA startup/innovation conference and were
considered the most
interesting and cutting edge in Asia
   The world's youngest
Microsoft Certified Professional is a Pakistani and so if the world's
   youngest Cisco CCNA professional
   Pakistani students excelled
in MIT's global software talent competition
   Citations of Pakistani
   scientific publications are rising sharply
   Over two dozen Pakistani
scientists are working on the Large Hadron Collider; the grandest
experiment in the history of
   Physics

And I tire listing all of these out…
there are so many more. The point is that the Pakistani IT industry is
rapidly developing and this is most definitely an area where significant
progress is being made, damning all the torpedoes and naysayers. Pretty
exciting on its own, right? But progress  in IT doesn't just mean
progress in IT. It means a vibrant economy, better healthcare through
Telemedicine,
increased efficiency in government through record automation (e.g. land
records project), a more effective defence, increased outreach for higher
  education and much more.

  Technology is a transformational
vehicle for our society. And we're just now starting to see the impact. Many
times, progress in specific areas will appear slow, but in part that is
explained by the exponential curves normally associated with technology
adoption. When you start small, high growth rates aren't 'visible on the
ground'
for the first few months or years because the overall numbers remain small.
But this changes when you hit the knee of the curve, at which point things
are fundamentally transformed and are altered for ever.

  In Pakistan, these transformations
have occurred in many areas already, and will continue to occur in numerous
others. Frankly, I just consider myself lucky to be around to watch the
  awesome progress unfold!

Bismillah [IslamCity] Zionist Hoaxes - Which refuse to die

2009-01-20 Thread Shahid
Zionist Hoaxes - Which refuse to die

I am not talking about the hoaxes such as - G-d promised Palestine to Jews or
the Jewish holocaust or the Al-Qaeda - but that Osama Bin Laden is still
alive and planning an event bigger than 9/11.

Today, the Jewish controlled CNN posted a news item on its website, saying:
Al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden has apparently released a new audio message
calling for a Jihad, or holy war, against Israel for its Gaza campaign. The
message is an invitation from bin Laden to take part in Jihad to stop
aggression against Gaza. The audio message was posted on a radical Islamist
website known for posting statements from bin Laden.

CNN could not independently confirm the authenticity of the message, but the
speaker's voice was similar to recordings that bin Laden has made in the past.
- Which have been proven to be fake!!

Now, several sources have long claimed Osama Bin Laden to be dead.

For example:

Pakistan's former president, General Pervez Musharraf, in early 2002 said: I
think Osama bin Laden is most likely dead because he has been unable to get
treatment for his kidney disease.

Osama bin Laden is probably dead, but former Taliban leader Mullah Omar is
alive, Kabul's US-puppet president Hamid Karzai was reported by CNN on October
7, 2002.

The US Federal Bureau of Investigation's counter-terrorism chief, Dale Watson,
says he thinks Osama bin Laden is probably dead - reported by Jewish owned
BBC on July 18, 2002.

CNN reported on October 26, 2002 - The editor-in-chief of a London-based Arab
news magazine said a purported will it published Saturday was written late last
year (2001) by Osama bin Laden, and shows he's dying or he's going to die soon.

According to World Tribune: Israeli sources said Israel and the United States
assess that Bin Laden probably died in the U.S. military campaign in
Afghanistan in December. They said the emergence of new messages by Bin Laden
are probably fabrications.

Bismillah [IslamCity] A thought

As Salaamu Alaikum

A THOUGHT
OUR EARS THAT HEAR WITHOUT ANY CRACKLE
 --
Allah has created our ears perfectly just like our eyes. Imagine a stereo, for
instance. Even if you turn on the best of stereos, you hear some crackling and
hissing sounds. Radio channels often become mixed up. Right now, don’t talk but
just listen! Do you hear any hissing? Your ears never produce any. You hear the
sounds marvellously clearly. Well don’t you think that your ears could also
have produced crackling just like stereos? Allah has created our ears perfectly
and we are able to hear the sounds around us without experiencing any
distortion.
Allah has created our ears in such a way that we are unable to hear certain
sounds that would disturb us. The blood in our body, for instance, flows very
fast and it makes a lot of noise during its circulation. However, our ears do
not hear the noise that it makes. Our planet also produces quite a strong noise
while it spins. Nevertheless, Allah has created our ears so ideally that we
don't hear this noise. Allah is very caring towards us. This is the reason why,
throughout our lives, He doesn’t let us hear noises that will disturb us.
This is why we have to thank Allah for His benevolence.

Bismillah [IslamCity] Health Tips

2009-01-20 Thread PoEtEsS
HEALTH TIPs
Ablution prevents skin diseases: The prophet Mohammed (Peace Be Upon Him)
said, “whoever performed ablution “properly” his wrong doings will come out of
his body till they come out from under his limb-nails” [Muslim].
He also said “Verily, on the Judgment day, My nation (Muslims) will come fair
and surrounded by lights as a result of ablution, whoever, became able to
prolong the retaining of ablution should do” [Sahihs].
After a microscopic investigation to a microbe plant for those who regularly
performing ablution and those who are not regularly performing it, the modern
science confirmed that the noses of those who perform ablution regularly
remained clean, pure and empty from any microbes. Therefore, the microbe plants
established for them, appeared clean and empty from any microbe. Whereas, the
microbic plants of those who do not perform ablution exposed a huge amount of
different types of harmful microbes such as cluster microbes, rosary microbes
which spread quickly and organic microbes which cause many kinds of diseases.
Some cases of self poisoning results from the harmful microbes which stays in
the nose cavity. These microbes enter into the digestive system and the blood
circulation and create inflammations and diseases. Therefore, Islam, asked
Muslims to inhate water into the nose three times during each ablution.
As far as the rinsing-out the mouth is concerned it is proven that it protects
mouth and throats from inflammations, gingivitis and teeth decay and erosion by
removing the remaining of food. It is medically confirmed that 90% of those who
lose their teeth, they face this because they don’t clean their mouth teeth.
The pus material and the rottenness get mixed with the slaver and food. The
stomach and the digestive system suck them. Then they get distributed to
different parts of the body by the help of blood, consequently it causes many
types of disease. It is proved that the rinsing-out of mouth strengthens some
muscles of the face and makes the face circled. Rather, the sport teachers
mention this fact because they concentrate on the big muscles of the body.
Washing of hands and legs also is very useful. It removes dust, germs and
cleans the body from oily materials which come out through the skin glands. It
also eliminates sweating. It is medically proved that microbes cannot attack
human skin unless he neglects its cleaning. If man does not clean his body
regularly then various harmful secretions remains on the surface of the skin
and create severe scratching in addition it also becomes a fertile plant of
microbes. Unclean fingers nails scratch and injure the skin and open entries to
the microbes.
Therefore, ablution helps cleaning the body regularly. Bacteriology scientists
who examined Bacteria and funguses which can be transferred to the mouth and
nose. Therefore, hands should be cleaned properly before cleaning other parts
of the body.
This has already been explained by the prophet Mohammed (Peace Be Upon Him) who
said, “When a person wakes up from sleeping, he should not dip his hand into
the vessel (food – water) before washing it thrice.”
It is also found that blood circulation at limbs is weaker because they are far
from the center of blood pumping (the heart). Therefore, its washing will be a
kind of a massage which helps to activate the blood circulation at these remote
areas of the body consequently makes the person more vigorous.
All these show the value of ablution that a Muslim performs. (Scientific
Miracles in Islam and Sunna Nabaweya)
Dr. Ahmed Shawqi Ibraheem the member of the Royal Medical Association in London
and the consultant of International and heart diseases says that scientists
came to know that the fall of the light in the water during ablution and also
on the dots of water on the body gives birth to negative Ions and reduces the
positive Ions and consequently it relaxes the nervous and muscles pain as well
as tension and anxiety. This fact is confirmed also by an American scientist
who says: “water has a magic effect Even the dazzle of water on face and hands
– he means ablution – is the best means of achieving relaxation and eliminating
tension.

The Messenger of Allah (Sall-Allahu alayhi wa sallam) asked
his Companions radhiAllah anhum:
“Is it difficult for any of you to recite
one third of the Qur’an in one night?”
This suggestion was difficult for them so they said,
“Who among us has the power to do so,
O Messenger of Allah  (Sall-Allahu alayhi wa sallam) ''
Allah Apostle (Sall-Allahu alayhi wa sallam) replied:

Bismillah [IslamCity] Jewish editor sacked for publishing article

2009-01-20 Thread PoEtEsS
Jewish editor sacked for publishing article
This article was sent to Debbie Ducro, an American-Jewish journalist with the
Kansas City Jewish Chronicle. She published it, and was fired the next day.

Quest for justice

By Judith Stone

I am a Jew. I was a participant in the Rally for the Right of Return to
Palestine. It was the right thing to do.

I've heard about the European holocaust against the Jews since I was a small
child. I've visited the memorials in Washington, DC and Jerusalem dedicated to
Jewish lives lost and I've cried at the recognition to what level of atrocity
mankind is capable of sinking.

Where are the Jews of conscience? No righteous malice can be held against the
survivors of Hitler's holocaust. These fragments of humanity were in no
position to make choices beyond that of personal survival. We must not forget
that being a survivor or a co-religionist of the victims of the European
Holocaust does not grant dispensation from abiding by the rules of humanity.

Never again as a motto, rings hollow when it means never again to us alone.
My generation was raised being led to believe that the biblical land was a vast
desert inhabited by a handful of impoverished Palestinians living with their
camels and eking out a living in the sand. The arrival of the Jews was touted
as a tremendous benefit to these desert dwellers. Golda Meir even assured us
that there is no Palestinian problem.

We know now this picture wasn't as it was painted. Palestine was a land filled
with people who called it home. There were thriving towns and villages, schools
and hospitals. There were Jews, Christians and Muslims.

In fact, prior to the occupation, Jews represented a mere seven per cent of the
population and owned three per cent of the land.

Taking the blinders off for a moment, I see a second atrocity perpetuated by
the very people who should be exquisitely sensitive to the suffering of others.
These people knew what it felt like to be ordered out of your home at gun point
and forced to march into the night to unknown destinations or face execution on
the spot. The people who displaced the Palestinians knew first hand what it
means to watch your home in flames, to surrender everything dear to your heart
at a moment's notice. Bulldozers levelled hundreds of villages, along with the
remains of the village inhabitants, the old and the young. This was nothing new
to the world.

Poland is a vast graveyard of the Jews of Europe. Israel is the final resting
place of the massacred Palestinian people. A short distance from the memorial
to the Jewish children lost to the holocaust in Europe there is a levelled
parking lot. Under this parking lot is what's left of a once flourishing
village and the bodies of men, women and children whose only crime was taking
up needed space and not leaving graciously. This particular burial marker
reads: Public Parking.

I've talked with Palestinians. I have yet to meet a Palestinian who hasn't lost
a member of their family to the Israeli Shoah, nor a Palestinian who cannot
name a relative or friend languishing under inhumane conditions in an Israeli
prison. Time and time again, Israel is cited for human rights violations to no
avail. On a recent trip to Israel, I visited the refugee camps inhabited by a
people who have waited 52 years in these 'temporary' camps to go home. Every
Palestinian grandparent can tell you the name of their village, their street,
and where the olive trees were planted. Their grandchildren may never have been
home, but they can tell you where their great-grandfather lies buried and where
the village well stood. The press has fostered the portrait of the Palestinian
terrorist. But the victims who rose up against human indignity in the Warsaw
Ghetto are called heroes. Those who lost their lives are called martyrs. The
Palestinian who tosses a rock in desperation is a terrorist.

Two years ago I drove through Palestine and watched intricate sprinkler systems
watering lush green lawns of Zionist settlers in their new condominium
complexes, surrounded by armed guards and barbed wire in the midst of a
Palestinian community where there was not adequate water to drink and the
surrounding fields were sandy and dry. University professor Moshe Zimmerman
reported in the Jerusalem Post (30 April, 1995), The [Jewish] children of
Hebron are just like Hitler's youth.

We Jews are suing for restitution, lost wages, compensation for homes, land,
slave labour and back wages in Europe. Am I a traitor of a Jew for supporting
the right of return of the Palestinian refugees to their birthplace and
compensation for what was taken that cannot be returned?

The Jewish dead cannot be brought back to life and neither can the Palestinian
massacred be resurrected. David Ben Gurion said, Let us not ignore the truth
among ourselves...politically, we are the aggressors and they defend
themselves...The country is theirs,
