Bismillah [IslamCity] Virtues of the Month Sha'ban
*Sha'ban* Sha'ban is the name of the eighth month of the Islamic lunar calendar. It is named so because in this month the Arabs used to disperse (tasha''aba) in search of water, or it was said that they dispersed to carry out raids and forays. Others maintain that it is so called because it sha'aba (branches out or emerges) i.e. it appears between the months of Rajab and Ramadan. Sha'ban is between Rajab and Ramadan, two very important months. Fasting in Sha'ban is a preparatory fast for Ramadan. If an individual begins fasting in Sha'ban he or she will have become used to fasting and will feel strong and energetic when Ramadan comes. Sha'ban paves the way for Ramadan and deeds performed during this month, such as fasting, reciting from the Holy Qur'an, and giving charity, are lifted to up the Most Exalted, Allah. Habeeb ibn Abi Thaabit used to say, when Sha'baan came, This is the month of reciters (of the Qur'aan). When Sha'baan came, 'Amr ibn Qays al-Malaa'i used to close his store and devote his time to reading the Qur'aan. It is also important to fast in Sha'ban because many people do not pay attention to it, as it is between two important months. People become so preoccupied with those two that they neglect fasting in Sha'ban and according to a hadeeth, it is preferred (mustahab) to do acts of worship during a time where people are negligent. However, to avoid adding extra days to the fast of Ramadan, fasting on the 'day of doubt' is prohibited. The 'day of doubt' is the day when people are uncertain whether Ramadan, sighting of crescent moon, has commenced or not. Ammaar said: whoever fasts on this day has disobeyed Abu'l-Qaasim (sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam). *Hadith 1:* Abu Hurairah (radiullaho anho) reported the Messenger of Allah,(sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam), as saying:''Rajab is the month of Allah. Shabaan is my month and Ramadan is that of my Ummah. Shabaan removes the sins of man and Ramadan purifies him completely.' *Hadith 2* The messenger of Allah (sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam) said:''Between Rajab and Ramadan is the sacred month of Shabaan. People are unmindful about it,yet the deeds of man are to be presented to Almighty Allah in it. It is for this reason that l desire my deeds to be presented when I am in a state of fasting. * Hadith 3* The Holy Prophet (sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam) also said: ''Shabaan enjoy superiority over the months as l have superiority over all the Prophets {peace be upon him}. *Hadith 4* The Holy Prophet (sallAllaahu alayhi wa salla) also said:''when the month of Shabaan approaches you, cleanse your souls to receive the blessed month of Ramadan. Rectify your intentions, for verily the greatness of Shabaan is like my greatness is over all the Prophets. Take heed Shabaan is my month and anyone who observes one fast in it, my intercession will become lawful for him.'' 'Aa'ishah (radiullaho anha) said: The Messenger of Allaah, (sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam) used to fast until we thought he would never break his fast, and not fast until we thought he would never fast. I never saw the Messenger of Allaah fasting for an entire month except in Ramadaan, and I never saw him fast more than he did in Sha'baan. (Narrated by al-Bukhaari, no. 1833; Muslim, no. 1956).According to a report narrated by Muslim (no. 1957), He used to fast all of Sha'baan, he used to fast all but a little of Sha'baan. *Shab-e Baraat-The night of Acquittal: * Commentators of the Holy Quran are unanimous that the night which the Qur'an calls 'the blessed night' is the fifteenth night of Sha'ban. On this glorious evening, the decent of the Qur'an began from the Divine Tablet to the worldly heaven. *Some hadith regarding 'the blessed night' are:* *Hadith 1* Mother of the believers Aisha {radiullaho anha}states that the Messenger of Allah (sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam) said:''Verily Almighty Allah pervades the worldly heaven with a special glance of compassion and forgives more followers of my ummah than all the hair of the sheep of Bani Kalb.'' * Hadith 2:* Abu Baker Al Sideeq (radiullaho anho) says that the Messenger of Allah (sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam) said:'' Spend the Night of Baraat in offering nafl Prayers and observe the fast on the fifteenth day. Without doubt it is a night full of blessings and excellence. Allah Almighty proclaims on the night ''Is there anyone who is desirous of peace and security that l may grant him peace and safety? Is there anyone who seeks sustenance that l may grant him sustenance? Is there anyone who seeks this and this, that l may grant him that? This proclamation and beneficence continue until the break of dawn.'' * Hadith 3 * In another Hadith it is reported that''the hearts of believers who keep alive the two nights of Eid and the fifteen nights of Shabaan,ie by engaging in Zikar of Allah, will not experience death on that day when every heart will be dead. *Hadith 4 * It is reported by Ayesha, (radiu Allahu anha) that the

The month is like this and this, i.e. sometimes of 29 days and sometimes of thirty days.* *14.Not to fast a day or two before Ramadan* *Hadith 3.138 Narrated by Abu Huraira (Radhiallah hu Taala anhu)* The Prophet (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam) said, *None of you should fast a day or two before the month of Ramadan unless he has the habit of fasting (Nawafil) (and if his fasting coincides with that day) then he can fast that day.* *15.'You are permitted to go to your wives* *Hadith 3.139 Narrated by Al Bara (Radhiallah hu Taala anhu)* It was the custom among the companions of Muhammad (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam) that if any of them was fasting and the food was presented (for breaking his fast), but he slept before eating, he would not eat that night and the following day till sunset. Qais bin Sirma-al-Ansari* *(Radhiallah hu Taala anhu)* *was fasting and came to his wife at the time of Iftar (breaking one's fast) and asked her whether she had anything to eat. She replied, *No, but I would go and bring some for you.* He used to do hard work during the day, so he was overwhelmed by sleep and slept. When his wife came and saw him, she said, *Disappointment for you.* When it was midday on the following day, he fainted and the Prophet (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam) was informed about the whole matter and the following verses were revealed: *You are permitted To go to your wives (for sexual relation) At the night of fasting.* So, they were overjoyed by it. And then Allah also revealed: *And eat and drink Until the white thread Of dawn appears to you Distinct from the black thread (of the night).* *(2.187)* *16.'And eat and drink until the while thread of dawn'* *Hadith 3.140 Narrated by Adi bin Hatim (Radhiallah hu Taala anhu)* When the above verses were revealed: *Until the white thread appears to you, distinct from the black thread,*I took two (hair) strings, one black and the other white, and kept them under my pillow and went on looking at them throughout the night but could not make anything out of it. So, the next morning I went to Allah's Apostle and told him the whole story. He explained to me, *That verse means the darkness of the night and the whiteness of the dawn.* *Hadith 3.141 Narrated by Sahl bin Saud (Radhiallah hu Taala anhu)* When the following verses were revealed: *eat and drink until the white thread appears to you, distinct from the black thread*and of dawn was not revealed, some people who intended to fast, tied black and white threads to their legs and went on eating till they differentiated between the two. Allah then revealed the words, 'of dawn', and it became clear that meant night and day *17.The Adhan should not stop you from getting meals* *Hadith 3.142 Narrated by Aisha (Radhiallah hu Taala anhaa)* Bilal used to pronounce the Adhan at night, so Allah's Apostle said, *Carry on taking your meals (eat and drink) till Ibn Um Maktum pronounces the Adhan, for he does not pronounce it till it is dawn*. *18.Taking meals hurriedly before dawn* *Hadith 3.143 Narrated by Sahl bin Sad (Radhiallah hu Taala anhu)* *I used to take my Suhur meals with my family and then hurry up for presenting myself for the (Fajr) prayer with Allah's Apostle.* *19.Interval between the end of Suhur and Fajr* *Hadith 3.144 Narrated by Anas (Radhiallah hu Taala anhu)* Zaid bin Thabit* *(Radhiallah hu Taala anhu) said, *We took the Suhur with the Prophet (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam). Then he stood for the prayer.* I asked, *What was the interval between the Suhur and the Adhan?* He replied, *The interval was sufficient to recite fifty verses of the Quran.* *20.Suhur is not compulsory* *Hadith 3.145 Narrated by Abdullah (Radhiallah hu Taala anhu)* The Prophet (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam) fasted for days continuously; the people also did the same but it was difficult for them. So, the Prophet (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam) forbade them (to fast continuously for more than one day). They said, *But you fast without break (no food was taken in the evening or in the morning).* The Prophet (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam) replied, *I am not like you, for I am provided with food and drink (by Allah).* *Hadith
Boycott Israel [IslamCity] 9th Day of TARAVEEH - Glimpses of Quran
*Assalaamu Alaikum Warehmatullahe Wabarakaatuhu* ** *9th Day of TARAVEEH * In the first section mention is made about those village Arab Bedouins who were resorting to kufr and hypocrisy and considered spending in good causes as a penalty unto them and about some of them who believed in ALLAH and in the hereafter and they considered spending the wealth as a source of nearness to ALLAH and a means to get the blessings and Duaa of the Prophet (pbuh). In the second section mention is made about those Muhajireen who have taken a lead in sacrificing everything and migrated to Madinah and also about the Ansars (helpers) who came forward with help and took a lead in everything for Islam. The mention about the hypocrites of Madinah al-Munawwarah, the rules of Zakaat and its benefits. Mention is made in the verse about the mosque built by the hypocrites and the Prophet (pbuh) was asked not to pray in that mosque, merit of the Masjid al-Quba and the command to pray there, the belief and steadfastness is explained. In the third section is said the life and wealth everything belongs to ALLAH, but ALLAH has purchased the lives and wealth of the believers in return for the Paradise and the believers are men of virtuous characters. It is forbidden to pray for the forgiveness of the Mushrikeen even though they are relatives. ALLAH never makes anyone go wrong. ALLAH has showered HIS Blessings upon the Prophet (pbuh) and those emigrants and the Ansars who have helped in times of difficulties and has also accepted the repentance of those who could not participate in the battle of Tabuk. In the fourth section the believers are called upon to refrain from disobedience to ALLAH and remain in the company of the righteous and to support the Prophet of ALLAH (pbuh). For them is a reward for every discomfort and difficulty and for every right step they take. It is enjoined that one group of people from every community and tribe set out in the way of ALLAH for jihad and acquiring knowledge (not all of them) and when they return they should undertake reformation and providing guidance to the community. In the fifth section it is emphasized that the kufr must be disliked and renounced openly. When the believers listen to the Quraan their belief is increased and strengthened and when the disbelievers listen to it the evil of kufr enhances, they face the problems but they don't repent. O Prophet! If the whole world turns away from you, you have nothing to loose and ALLAH is sufficient for you. Surah Younus begins In the first section it is said that it is not a wonder that ALLAH has sent a man as Messenger to reform and guide HIS servants. Here ALLAH mentions about the various things spread over the universe and the benefits therein for the mankind. In the second section it is pointed out that man is always at haste and his nature also is a strange one. ALLAH says that when he is inflicted with some difficulty, he calls US, and when WE have delivered him from the difficulty, he behaves in such a way that nothing has come to him and he had never called US. The destruction of the earlier communities for their arrogance and new generations taking their place is a phenomenon intended to find out how you behave! The meaningless demands of the disbelievers that this Quraan is changed and another Quraan brought in its place reflects their attitude and the Prophet was told: Oh Prophet! tell them that I have no right to change it on my own and I only follow what was revealed to me. The Prophet's job is to convey the word of ALLAH to HIS servants as it was revealed. In the third section it is said that even the idolaters call ALLAH when the wrath of ALLAH befalls them and when it is removed they again start rejecting HIM. Don't take pride in worldly wealth, ALLAH calls you to the abode of peace, the Paradise! Follow the righteous path and you will be successful and the disobedient will only fail. In the fourth section ALLAH instructs the Prophet to ask them as to who sustains them from the heaven and the earth? Who is responsible for the creations? Who holds the key to guidance towards the true path? But they follow only their assumptions. There is only one book which refutes all these assumptions and tells you the truth, and that is the Holy Quraan. If you have doubt in this Quraan, then bring one surah like this from your side. In the fifth section it is said that the Prophet has fulfilled his mission and even after that, if any one does not believe in the Quraan, then he his himself responsible for himself. listening to the word of ALLAH and the sayings of the Prophet will be beneficial only when one listens to these with sincerity and commitment. A glimpse of the terrific condition of the day of resurrection is given and and it is made known that for every thing there is an appointed time and that good and bad, profit and loss, is as per the will of ALLAH. In the sixth section it is mentioned that on the day of judgment the
Boycott Israel [IslamCity] 7th 8th Day of TARAVEEH - Glimpses of Quran
*Assalaamu Alaikum Warehmatullahe Wabarakaatuhu* ** *7th Day of TARAVEEH * *Surah al-A'raaf begins* In the first section the purpose of the revelation of Quraan is explained informing to the people of the World about their future and warning them of the consequences of their evil deeds. WE will ask the nations, WE will verify from the Messengers and WE will judge based on OUR knowledge, as WE were present everywhere and witness unto everything. On that day the deeds of every person will be weighed, the reward of good deed will be given not on count but on its weight and the real weight will be that of purity, sincerity and piety. Before the creation of man himself the Creator had made provisions for the needs of men on earth. In the second section mention is made about the creation of Adam and the command to the angels to prostrate before him, the refusal of Iblis (Shaitaan) to prostrate before Adam and his challenge that he will mislead and deceive the men until the day of Judgment. Repenting for the mistakes committed by error of forgetfulness is the quality of Adam (AS) and arrogance on committing a sin is the quality of Iblis. The mention about the exit of Adam (AS) and Hawwa (AS) from the paradise is made here. In the third section it is explained that dress is a great gift from ALLAH and nudity is the way of Shaitaan. Be careful about his tricks because he is an unseen enemy of yours. Come to the Masjid for salaat with moderate and best of your clothes and maintain the moderate path in every act. In the fourth section it is said that all that is created in this world, are for the man to make the best use of it and that he remains grateful to ALLAH. The people of this world are sitting on the dining sheet spread by ALLAH (the provision of sustenance of all beings is the responsibility of ALLAH), but in the hereafter only the believer will be eligible for HIS Kindness and Generosity. The appointed time of the Doomsday will not be advanced or postponed. ALLAH has forbidden and made haraam all evil and indecent things like injustice and excesses, infidelity and associating partners with ALLAH and all that leads to it. Those who have renounced it and remained at a distance, they would not have any fear nor they would grieve, but those who indulge in these things will meet their consequences. In the fifth section it is mentioned that the souls of the Kafirs will not reach the heavens and their abode will be the Hell, where the fire will be everywhere engulfing them. The believers will be getting the bounties of the Paradise, their hearts will be clean and after getting into Paradise they would express their thanks and gratitude to ALLAH. The section ends with the conversation of the people of Paradise and the people of Hell and the status of those who would be in A'raaf. In the sixth section it is mentioned that the people of the Hell will request to the people who would be in Paradise to pass on to them some of the food and drink they have been given. The people of the Paradise will reply to them that for those who had ridiculed the religion in the world, it is made haraam today. They have neglected this day although the book of ALLAH they were explained all these things. Their cries and screams would not be heard and all the links and association among them would be cut off on that day. In the seventh section it is said that the sun, the moon and the stars and the day and the night are all the signs of ALLAH's Power. So, for every need of yours turn to ALLAH and spread your hands and ask for HIS help. Sending down the rain from the sky and giving life to the earth and making it green and fresh is HIS Work. In the eighth section there is mention about the mission of Nooh (AS), his way of calling people towards ALLAH, the misbehaviour of his people and their transgressing the limits and the tempest and the drowning of the people of Nooh (AS). In the ninth section the story of Hud (AS) and the people of Ad, the wrath of ALLAH on them is mentioned. Every Prophet had called his people towards Tawheed. In the tenth section there is mention about Saleh (AS), and the story of the she camel, the transgression of the people of Thamud and their refusal to believe in ALLAH and the destruction of the community by earthquake. Mention is made about the people of Lut (AS) and their immodest behaviour. Lut (AS) called his people towards ALLAH, and their threatening him of deportation and subsequently the wrath of ALLAH befalling them in the form of adhab. In the eleventh section there are details about Shuaib (AS) and his people indulging in various evil practices and in addition unfair trade practices such as cheating the customers in weights and measures, taking more quantity when they procure the commodities and measuring less when they sell. At last the torment of ALLAH had destroyed them. In the twelfth section it is illustrated that those who have rejected the call of the Prophets shave indulged in
Boycott Israel [IslamCity] 6th Day of TARAVEEH - Glimpses of Quran
*Assalaamu Alaikum Warehmatullahe Wabarakaatuhu * *6th Day of TARAVEEH * Surah al-Ana'aam begins The first section starts with all praise and glorification is for ALLAH alone. HE is the Creator and Owner of the Heavens and the earth and all that exists, mention of HIS Power is made here. Due to disobedience and rejection of HIS message by the earlier communities, wrath of ALLAH had befallen them, it is meaningless to question why the Prophet was not accompanied by the Angels. Those who ridicule the Prophet will be punished severely. In the second section people are called upon to travel around the earth and find themselves what was the consequence of those who have rejected the Message. ALLAH had made obligatory upon HIMSELF to be kind to HIS creations. Hence HE does not punish the sinners quickly. ALLAH is so kind that HE had made provisions for the sustenance of all the Creations. If ALLAH is kind to you none can harm you and if HE deprives you none can come to your help and rescue. The greatest of the witness is the Unity of ALLAH. The Holy Quraan was revealed to warn the people in advance. In the third section it is explained that the most unjust is the one who falsifies the command and Authority of ALLAH and ascribe falsehood unto HIM. When such people were brought to book on the day of Judgment, they would wish they are sent back to earth. It is said that they are such worthless ones that if they were sent back to earth, they would do the same thing for which they were caught. In the fourth section it is explained that whoever does not believe in the Aakhirah has spoiled his own future and he will be carrying the burden of his own sins. The life of this world is a game short lived, but the life in the hereafter is a true eternal one, those who are not aware of their own consequences do not understand this. Such people falsify the signs of ALLAH, which hurts the Prophets. O Prophet, the prophets before you also faced the same problem and the only remedy for this is patience. There are many signs of ALLAH in the Heavens and the earth and what is in between, but they are deaf and dumb and are groping in the darkness and are only waiting for the punishment from ALLAH. In the fifth section it is explained that the sinner should turn to ALLAH after a small warning shock. Whoever has forgotten ALLAH because of his indulgence in life, he will find himself surrounded by the torment of ALLAH. Whoever declares his belief and does good deeds he would be successful and those who have disobeyed the commands f ALLAH will get disgraceful punishment. Oh! Prophet tell them Everything is in ALLAH's command and control and I myself follow the revelation. In the sixth section it is said. Warn them with the Book and do not push those who call their Lord in the mornings and in the evenings away from your sessions. The believers are safe and successful. ALLAH has made it obligatory upon HIMSELF to be kind to them and they shall repent for their sins. In the seventh section the Prophet was asked to tell them that I have already received the commandments from ALLAH and I am following them. Hidden treasures are with ALLAH and nothing from the creations is away from HIS knowledge. Remaining active in daily work and taking rest in nights, getting up in the morning after sleep which is nothing but a symbol of death, everything is before you. In the eighth section it is said that the appointed time of death of every person is fixed and that ALLAH does not the sinners immediately, but when the time comes the arrogant disbelievers will realize it. ALLAH only saves you and protects you, HE can punish anyone in whichever way HE wants. Muslims are advised to renounce the friendship of those who ridicule religion. In the ninth section it is said that it is not befitting for a believer to bow down before anyone other than ALLAH. Nothing can be more disgraceful that man worships something which he has made with his own hands. Ibrahim (AS) call towards Tawheed, his evidences on the unity of ALLAH, the moon and the sun, the stars are all creations of ALLAH and it was called upon to turn to ALLAH. In the tenth section there is mention of names of eighteen prophets and their history and their relationship with the last of the Prophets, and it is indicated that the Holy Quraan is the guidance for the whole mankind. In the eleventh section it is said that they have not understood the Greatness of ALLAH as they should have understood and in order to oppose the Prophet they rejected the revelation from ALLAH, even though ALLAH had revealed the divine Book to Moosa (AS), and the last scripture and the Book is the sacred of all the Books and those who are unjust falsify and reject it. ALLAH says that they would be in very miserable condition on the day of Judgment, and they would be brought before ALLAH alone. In the twelfth section there is mention about the creations of ALLAH spread over in the world and in the heavens and these
Boycott Israel [IslamCity] 5th Day of TARAVEEH - Glimpses of Quran
*Assalaamu Alaikum Warehmatullahe Wabarakaatuhu * *5th Day of TARAVEEH * This completes one and a quarter part of the Quraan, and a total of six and quarter parts. Four sections from the sixth part and the whole surah al-Maidah. This section begins with the advice not to make known the defects in any person except the one who was wronged. It is insisted upon that one should develop the quality of forget and forgive and that those who differentiate between the prophets, accepting some of them and rejecting some others were declared as disbelievers, and those who do not differentiate between them are the true believers and for them is a great reward. The second section mentions the demands of the Jews from the Prophet to get the Divine Book down from the heaven duly written and that they have demanded even a greater thing from Moosa (AS). There is mention of the mean misbehaviour, breach of trust and breaking of promises by the Jews. It is categorically told that they are telling lies when they claim they had killed Eesa (AS), nor have they crucified him, but in fact ALLAH had raised him up to the heavens and that he will come back again before the end of the world and that all the people of the book will believe in him. It is because of this arrogance of the Jews that ALLAH had enjoined for them stringent and harsh rules to follow. In the third section the Prophet is told that revelation wa s being sent to him as it used to be sent to the prophets before him and that the mention of many a prophets had been made and the stories of many prophets have not been mentioned and narrated. The continuity of the prophets was maintained for the reason that people should not come out with excuses in the Aakhirah. O People! Believe in the last Prophet, do not create confusion in religion, say the truth. Eesa (AS) ibn-e-Mariam (AS) is a Messenger of ALLAH. ALLAH is one and HE is alone and none associated with HIM in HIS being the GOD. HE is free from all defects In the fourth section it is mentioned that Eesa (AS) ibn-e-Mariam (AS) and the Angels are all slaves of ALLAH. To obey ALLAH's commands and to serve HIM is the highest honour and a great respect and whoever turns away from HIS servitude he will be punished. Whoever holds fast the Quraan, has succeeded and the last verse explains the laws of inheritance of a person who has no father or children, known as Kalala. Surah al-Maidah begins. In the first section it is enjoined that one should fulfill the the promise and a covenant and that the promise made to ALLAH Himself or any human being, should fulfill it. Believers are asked to cooperate with one another in good and righteous things only. Mention is made about the animals which are halal and the details about the things which are haraam (forbidden) and rules relating to hunting of animals. There is a declaration and good news that the religion of Islam has been completed in every aspect and that ALLAH has chosen Islam as the religion or the way of life for the whole mankind. The rules relating to the Zabiha or the animals slaughtered by the people of the book and the status of relationship with them is also explained. In the second section the rules relating to wudhu, taharah (cleanliness and purity) and the Tayammum were explained and it is enjoined to practice justice. The believers are insisted upon to have faith an dependence only on ALLAH. In the third section it is said that WE (ALLAH) has taken a promise from the Jews to perform the prayers, pay the zakaat and to do good deeds, but they have not fulfilled it. Making distortions in the scriptures revealed by ALLAH and breach of trust and promises and deceit have become their attitudes and the nasara or the Christians have also followed their way. Hence the Quraan shows the way of truth and it is a beacon of light in the darkness. The claim of the people of the book that they are the sons of ALLAH and HIS beloved is totally false. In the fourth section the favours of ALLAH upon them and the arrogant behaviour of the Jews, their misbehaviour with Moosa (AS) and the consolation of ALLAH is mentioned. In the fifth section the story of the two sons of Adam (AS), Habeel and Qabeel is narrated and the mention of the first murder of a man committed on earth and the lesson out of that and other rules are explained. The warning of a severe punishment form ALLAH is given for those creating disorder on earth and committing murder. In the sixth section Muslims are impressed upon to seek nearness to ALLAH, call for undertaking Jihad and its merit is explained. Itis made clear that on the day of Judgment if the non-believers want to escape or get remedy from the torment by offering all the treasures of the earth, they cannot save themselves. Punishment for theft, mention about the mischief and behaviour of the Jews, call for practicing justice and that ALLAH loves those who are just. In the seventh section it is explained that the responsibility of protecting
Boycott Israel [IslamCity] Second Day of TARAVEEH - Glimpses of Quran
*Assalaamu Alaikum Warehmatullahe Wabarakaatuhu* ** *Second Day of TARAVEEH * In the first section and the first verse the comprehensive picture of righteousness is presented, that explains that turning towards east or west does not amount to righteousness but the righteousness is in fact, is to believe in ALLAH the ONE WHO has no partner, to believe in the hereafter, the angels, the heavenly books revealed from ALLAH, and to believe in the Prophets and spending your wealth for the sake of ALLAH, on your relatives, orphans, needy and the travelers, those who ask for help, those burdened with debts and to relieve the captives on ransom. Establishing salaat, paying zakaat fulfilling the promises is also righteousness. Whoever has these virtues are true in their belief and those are really virtuous. In this section rules relating to the retaliation (qisas) and the details of making a will are explained. In the second section it is said that fasting is made obligatory upon the Muslims and details of the revelation of the Quraan and the rules relating to fasting and the ethics of Ithikaf are explained and misappropriating other's wealth and taking bribe is forbidden. The third section explains about the lunar months, sighting of the moon, and reformations of some of the customs and traditions of earlier times is made. Jihad and fighting in the way of ALLAH are ordained and the rules relating to Hajj, and Umrah are explained. In the fourth section the months of Hajj and other rules relating to Hajj and exhortation for the remembrance of ALLAH and the kinds of people who make supplications (duas) are explained. Entering the fold of Islam completely is insisted upon and being cautious about the Shaitaan is emphasized. In the fifth section the irreligious behaviour of Jews, their ungratefulness towards the blessings and favours from ALLAH, punishments meted out to them to tests are explained and also about the spending of wealth and the obligation of Jihad and fighting for the cause of ALLAH is discussed. In the sixth section the sacred months are mentioned and the prohibition of fighting in these months, the punishments for the apostates, (those who revert back to their earlier religion known as Irtidad) and the merits of migration (Hijrah) and Jihad are explained. Prohibition of wine and gambling, behaving nicely with orphans, prohibition of establishing marital relationship with idolaters is discussed. In the seventh section, it is ordained not to cohabit with the wives during the period of menstruation, husband and wife relationships, not to swear frequently for small things, the problem of swearing not to cohabit with wives, the rules relating to the divorced women, and the period of Iddat are explained. In the eighth section, again the rules of divorce (talaaq), the rules of Khulaa and other details, prohibition of causing hardships, inconveniences and problems to the divorced women are discussed. The ninth section calls upon not preventing the divorced women from marrying after the Iddat period is completed, the rules relating to fostering of the children in cases of divorce, rules relating to the women after the death of their husband, the prohibition of the Nikaah of the women during the Iddat period are explained. In the tenth section the rules relating to the Mahr and maintenance of the divorced are explained, emphases on the regular performance of salaat and about the rules relating to divorced women are mentioned. In the eleventh section there is mention of an event from the history of Banu Israel from which one gets guidance with regard to migration. Exhortation on sacrificing one's life and wealth for the sake of ALLAH and there is a mention about the king Talut. In the twelfth section the history of Talut and Jalut is mentioned, and it is shown that ALLAH has given the believers superiority over non-believers in spite of being lesser in number. It becomes evident that changes in the authority and power depend upon the wisdom of ALLAH. In the last verse of the second part there is mention about the prophet hood and the messenger ship of last of the prophets, and the third part begins with; ALLAH had preferred some messengers over some others…. But we are asked to believe in all the prophets without any discrimination or distinction. The thirteenth section contains the Ayat al kursi the most meritorious of the great verses in Quraan. Each verse in the Ayat and each word explain the Unity and the Oneness of ALLAH, HIS Greatness and HIS power. It declares that there is no compulsion in Islam. The fourteenth section contains an event from the history on this subject in the form of a debate between Ibrahim (A.S) and the contemporary king in which the king is silenced. The Holy Quraan presents the Tawheed, the Risalah and the Aakhirah in a different way. ALLAH, by mentioning about Uzair ( A.S) and Ibrahim (A.S) gives a manifest and practical example and demonstration which explains how HE

When he had finished the prayer, he said, The Imam is to be followed and so when he bows you should bow; and when he lifts his head you should also do the same. *Hadith 2.215 Narrated by Anas bin Malik* Allah's Apostle (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam) fell down from a horse and his right side was either injured or scratched, so we went to inquire about his health. The time for the prayer became due and he offered the prayer while sitting and we prayed while standing. He said, The Imam is to be followed; so if he says Takbir, you should also say Takbir, and if he bows you should also bow; and when he lifts his head you should also do the same and if he says: Sami'a-l-lahu Liman Hamidah (Allah hears whoever sends his praises to Him) you should say: Rabbana walakal-Hamd (O our Lord! The Prophet (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam) beckoned them to sit down. On completion of the prayer, he said, The Imam is to be followed: bow when he bows, raise up your heads (stand erect) when he raises his head and when he says, 'Sami a-l-lahu liman-hamida ' (Allah heard those who sent praises to Him) say then 'Rabbana wa laka-l-hamd' (O our Lord! All the praises are for You), and if he prays sitting then pray sitting. *Hadith 2.216 Narrated by Imran bin Husain* (who had piles) I asked Allah's Apostle (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam) about the praying of a man while sitting. He said, If he prays while standing it is better and he who prays while sitting gets half the reward of that who prays standing; and whoever prays while lying gets half the reward of that who prays while sitting. -- Please keep forwarding this Hadith to all ...
