Re: [JAWS-Users] [Bulk] Re: confused webpages
Ann, Very unlikely a virus. This happens with some web pages, and it's the underlying html coding that's getting through. Next time, try using H for headers, or N for non-links to skip over that crud to get to the useful parts of the web page. No idea how to get rid of it -- likely needs attention from FS to resolve. When it goes into Zombie mode ("no window is active"), that trick is absolutely useless, along with just about anything else you care to try. Re: [JAWS-Users] [Bulk] jaws and repeating notifications?
JAWS has always done this and I've found no way around it. Sometimes, on web sites, it says the same thing over and over again for a while. I've decided (based on nothing but my own faulty reasoning) that when IE or Outlook or whatever is doing something, JAWS keep repeating the last thing it said just to let me know it's working ...and waiting or busy. Kind of the same idea as not having "dead air" on the radio, LOL! Of course, I could be, and probably am, entirely wrong.
