How can I reverse this process to the newest e-mails on top and the oldest at the bottom? It's become very confusing after all these years in reverse. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Please note that I'm not very computer literate and if you can give it to me in steps it will be very helpful. Many thanks for any help. Re: [JAWS-Users] Problem with character echo
That is the one. I went in changed all of the keys to mute and those for letters and numbers got changed also. I did not have to worry about that in Window Eyes so I got carried away on muting things. It appears that when you set the keyboard labeler to mute on the all letters setting it causes the characters not to speak. Re: [JAWS-Users] How to remove "clickable" from Firefox web pages
Hi Jim, Below are 2 ways of doing this: From: Carlos via BlindTech In "Settings Center" under the "Web / HTML / PDFs" category, there is a subcategory labeled "Miscellaneous" Under "Miscellaneous" there is a setting labeled "Indicate Element Attribute" Unchecking this setting will stop Jaws from saying "Clickable" Although I would not recommend this since there are times when you will miss out on elements of webpages that may be useful and are clickable. Carlos how to make JAWS ignore only the announcement of "clickable" without affecting the other elements is to: browse to a website that has occurrences of "clickable". start settings center. find and expand, speech and sounds schemes. down arrow to and activate modify schemes. Tab to, Edit scheme, & press the spacebar. control+tab to html tab. tab and down arrow to on click speak. tab and down arrow to ignore. tab to and activate ok. at this point, the modified scheme needs to be saved and chosen to when the browser is used. Re: [JAWS-Users] how to stop jaws from saying checked
In the search box type folder or file options and hit enter when it pops up. Control tab once, then tab over to the list of items in that dialog. Down almost at the bottom you will find and even though I just looked it up I forget the exact wording, but check boxes is in the description. That is where you make the change. -Original Message- From: net bat66 Sent: Wednesday, June 7, 2017 12:42 AM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] how to stop jaws from saying checked i don't remember where it is. but this is a windows 7 and 10 setting that you can change. hope someone on the list can find this setting. grin -Original Message- From: Michael Amaro Sent: Tuesday, June 06, 2017 7:13 PM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: [JAWS-Users] how to stop jaws from saying checked Hello Listers, Yesterday I reinstalled windows 10 64 bit on my laptop. Re: [JAWS-Users] Reversing e-mail list in Outlook 2010
Hi, You can do this by going through the view menu and finding the sort order area, but there is an easier way. Go to the top of your list of emails. Route the JAWS cursor to the PC cursor (usually Insert and numpad minus key). Up arrow to the line above the first email. Find and click "Received". Voila, the sort order is reversed.
