Re: [JAWS-Users] internet explorer 11

2018-07-03 Thread David Moore
IE is not retired yet, I only use it with one web site:
m.facebook.com
I am trying to get used to using the mobile Facebook site on Chrome and Edge,
and it is Okay, but I still like the interface of the site with IE.
I don’t know how long IE will whimper along LOL!

[JAWS-Users] auto nfl game pass renewal opt-out

2018-07-03 Thread leonard morris
I am using the latest Jaws 2018. I received an email from NFL game pass
regarding my subscription. To, opt out you can either go to your accout
or go to a ticket form link within the email. I have  tried numerous
times both ways with no success. I've tried with IE11, Chrome and
Firefox. Is there a support email address I can write to opt out or a
support phone number I can call to opt out. I do not want to be charged
the $199 by the end of this month. Any help regarding this issue will be
greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hello David:

My ISP is Windstream and I receive the list messages OK, my problem is the
other way around, often when I write to the list, but not everytime, it
says

it cannot be delivered without giving a reason.

The following domains are currently blocking messages from this domain
refusing delivery. There are 3 at this time but my memory is only giving
me

2 right off hand. I am sure Mike will come up with the third.

Never the less the point to this message subscribers using:

sbcglobal.net
or
bellsouth.net

are not receiving anything from this domain, both list traffic and also
personal correspondence.

If any of you out there can help by contacting any such list members and
explaining the problem we would appreciate it.

They in turn need to call their ISPs to find out what they can on that
end.

Hi Viki,

In computer I use the standard desktop site. When you enter someone's
profile from there, there's a button called “Send him/her/their a friend
request.” Simply press that button and you're done.

Hope it helps!

Re: [JAWS-Users] adding a friend on Facebook

2018-07-03 Thread Vicki W.
Well, now I can't log in and I believe it is just a security for a new
account. I haven't been on Facebook for years and deleted my old account at
that time.

This is a new account and first they e-mailed me a 5 digit security code to
approve me with that e-mail.

Then they wanted my cell phone number before I could log back in. I wonder
what people do who don't have a cell phone because there was no option to
get beyond this step.

I gave them my cell phone number and they sent me a six digit code to
approve my cell phone.

Then when I tried to add a friend, as before, I got the message not to
request people I don't know and there was an okay button. This happened
before, so I pressed okay and then they said they needed a photo with a
clear picture of my face and then they could approve me and would delete
that photo from their server.

That was two days ago and no news yet. I still can't log in after they
logged me out.

What a process!

Vicki
