Re: [JAWS-Users] Who uses Reaper?

2017-12-01 Thread AndrewDS
I'd say both. Goldwave used to have a feature named jogging. Reaper its
scrubbing. The
extensions SWS & OSARA are both JAWS and non visual --- accessible. I've
never
before saw the Reaper WIKI to say but there a lot of VST's aka Virtual Studio
Technology. When they are added to Reaper & Goldwave will add sound effects to
your
tracks. There are so many things you can do with Reaper. I've only scratched the
surface. Andrew

I'd still recommend Goldwave, but Reaper for the cost. VERY Versatile! I'd also
recommend donating to all the accessories that make Reaper Blind Accessible..
SWSS
extension & Osara.

link to a
Reaper wiki that tells you everything you need to know to download, set up, and

using Reaper.

As far as the cost, Reaper is a free-to-try download with no restrictions.
When I purchased Reaper it was about $65. I don't know how that compares to
Gold wave
but it's a tremendous bargain for what you get.

Have fun and take care,

Hey Folks.

Anyone here using the Reaper Digital Audio Editing software? I've heard good
things
about it, and I know it's supposed to be quite accessible, a definite bonus in
a DAW. I
have Goldwave and manage quite alright with it. I also have some experience with
Audacity. I know about Sound Forge and used it a bit in the early 2000s, but
not since
then. Anyway, just wondering if people who use Reaper might be able to
elucidate some
of its features, and what makes it stand apart from other DAW software? I'm
particularly interested in hearing from those with experience with multiple
editors.
Obviously I could try this out for myself, but the programme is quite a bit
pricier
than Goldwave, so I'm just interested in getting some feedback, particularly
from
screen-reader users, before I consider shelling out cash for it.

Cheers.

Hi JIM,
Congrats on your jazz show. Are you doing the show using Station Playlist?
Winamp with SAM encoder?
In SPL, there's a keystroke using the SPL Asisstant plus D as in Duration which
will
report minutes slash hours depending where your cursor is in the playlist. HTH

We have been hit in the past by email providers bouncing messages from this
domain, but today ranks as the worst in our history. We lost 162 members today
just under 25% of our total subscribers. Almost all of them were using GMail
with a couple of other ISPs thrown in for good measure.

We have never had a problem with GMail before but they sure made up for it this
morning.

If anybody has contact with one of the people who have been removed ask them to
contact GMail if they can and ask this domain be placed on their white list or
whatever they happen to call it.

A few more days like this and there won’t be much of a point in going on.

I remember as a little boy my dad saying you can’t fight city hall. In this
case you can’t fight being black listed.

Hi Rose,
Not sure what you are responding to. Vicky ask in her email quote: What about
people
who use JAWS 14? I switch back and forth for reasons that are related to reading
certain documents correctly. What if I update to Windows 10? Will JAWS 14 work
correctly with the updated version of Windows 10?

I informed her she could not use Jaws 14 with W10 and she had to use the latest
versions of Jaws 16,17 or 18.

So I am not quite understanding your snippy one sentence response. I thought we
were
suppose to help answer question on this group.

That doesn’t help. Is the PayPal order not going threw? Are you having problems
logging into your PayPal account? Is something preventing you from paying for
the order after you sign in?
Please provide more information to help with this, or reach out to:
