Give it a try, Susie but set it up so that you can switch back to 13 if you start having problems. Both of these programs are quite large and that's why I eventually deleted 13. I agree it doesn't have the look and feel of OUtlook Express, and you have to get used to the contacts manager for doing things, so you can go with whatever you want. Re: [JAWS-Users] I was wondering what would be thebestE-mailclientto use?
That is what happened to me, so I'm using Microsoft Outlook and hating it with every keystroke, lol. -Original Message- From: jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com [mailto:jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com] On Behalf Of Steve Sent: Monday, August 27, 2012 3:50 PM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] I was wondering what would be thebestE-mailclientto use? Just beware, if you do the registry hack to use Windows Mail, it could interfere with getting Windows updates. Supposedly, if you already have SP1 for Win 7, then it might work, but since Windows Live works decently with Jaws, you are forewarned. I agree it doesn't have the look and feel of OUtlook Express, and you have to get used to the contacts manager for doing things, so you can go with whatever you want. Also, some people are using Thunderbird from Mozilla which doesn't require a hack. - Original Message - From: Linda Vanderlitz To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Sent: Monday, August 27, 2012 3:37 PM Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] I was wondering what would be thebestE-mailclientto use? Actually, if you go to the Jaws-Users site, there are instructions for using Windows Mail with a Windows 7, 64 bit computer. I've been using Windows Mail with a Win 7 computer for over 2 years. Hi Cindy are you using Windows 7? If so the only client you can use is the latest version of Windows Live Mail! Windows Mail is unfortunately not supported! Microsoft doesn't allow for that! I don't know why that is! I hope that helps you somewhat!
