[JAWS-Users] Yahoo Messenger Scripts, a new update 1.6

2011-04-30 Thread Emanuel Boboiu (Manu)

Hello,
I updated Yahoo Messenger Scripts.
The actual version is 1.6 and these scripts work with JAWS 12 or earlier,
Yahoo Messenger or earlier.
If IE is updated since April 2011, the keystrokes Alt + Numbers don't read
the last messages found in current instant message window.

Emoticons are read.
Alt + Control + M works to search for an emoticon.
Control + Shift + Enter work to click the last link/url found in the instant
window, if that is sent by friend, like a Youtube clip.

Download it at:
http://www.pontes.ro/en/scripts/index.php

Press H until JAWS says Yahoo Messenger Scripts.

  Best regards,
  Emanuel Boboiu

yahoomessenger using jaws 11 please help.

Hello. ok let me make my self clear. I am running IE 7, Windows xp, sp 3 and
yahoo messenger 10 with jaws 11. and the scripts don't seem to work at all.
as I have said time and time again there were scripts that were on the jaws
users page at one time that were written by rampcure and in hanced by
jetendra for yahoo messenger and those scripts worked like a dream. I think
they were for yahoo messenger 8 though but they are no longer on the sight
though. and before some one asks yes I did try downgrading to yahoo
messenger 8 and still it didn't work. when I would open up yahoo messenger
and I had the scripts it would say yahoo messenger welcome to yahoo
messenger scripts in hanced by rampcure and jetendra and then it would say
yahoo messenger again. then when I would go through my contacts list I would
be able to see who was on line and hit f 6 to hear jaws say typing window
and message window. I can do all of this now but the difference is that with
those scripts that used to be on the jaws users page I was able to read what
people were typing to me and what I was typing back. another thing that they
would read were the messages at the top of the message window that said that
who I was talking to was using a older version of yahoo messenger and that
serten features would not be available. I am not hearing this now either. I
also when I send a message am not hearing the message that I send when I hit
enter. before it would say something like michverrier says hi if I hit enter
and landed in the message window I could arrow up and read what I sent now I
am un able to do this. so I hope that if some one out there has these serten
scripts that were on the jaws users page and can send them to me that would
be grate. they are no longer there and there is also nothing in the tips and
tricks page about setting up yahoo messenger to work with jaws either and
there used to be as well. well I hope that this finely explains what my
problem is and that I will be able to get some help with this. from Mich.

if you would update the scripts, i can give some feed-back like after a
while, let's say in a longish conversation, alt keys work very
problematically. If you test the scripts on win7 and particularly on
chatting, that would be awsome.

2011-04-29 Thread Emanuel Boboiu (Manu)
It's possible that Microsoft changed something also in IE7, something like
in 9. Maybe it would not work for evrybody who upgrade now the IE browser.
If also JAWS cursor doesn't read the messages, it is strange. I hope I will
be able to find a solution for this problem.

If you have installed Internet Explorer 9... that's the problem.
Nobody can use Yahoo Messenger with IE9.
I will check the scripts to actualise them, but after 2 weeks, after I
will have Windows 7, IE9 doesn't work in XP.

Hello,

Quick Reading on Mobile is a system programed in JAWS Scripting and allows you
to convert books to be readable on your Symbian Phone using Nuance Talks screen

The link to download the program is after instructions in this message.

After installing Quick Reading on Mobile, you will find on the desktop an icon

all and copy the content to clipboard.
When you are on the Notepad window with the template opened, press Control +
Shift + H to start the process. Don't press Control + V to paste the text, this
will be done automatically for you..
First of all, a question will appear: Are you sure you want to convert?.
Press Yes or No.
After, an edit box will appear asking the name for the document and file.
Another edit will appear asking for the distance between bookmarks. The
distance is calculated in Page_Downs. 10 Page_Downs mean approximately 5 Word
pages.
Wait until Notepad will close.
During the process, don't do anything, don't touch the keyboard. It is better
to have your Messenger closed.

The book converted into HTML will be found in Documents folder.

Yes of cource, totally free.
I am sure it is useful, we read books on mobile phones for a long time using
it.
It is easy to find a place were we stoped before, just pressing 4 key to
find the heading with the bookmark number 5 for instance, this being the
last one I heared last time i read that book.
It is possible to read books like on the computer. Not only books, any kind
of texts.
When i go to work for instance, on the bus I am reading scaned books using
headphones.

You can do anything with the program, it's free.
   Best wishes!

Re: [JAWS-Users] transporting configured web sites and settings

2010-04-14 Thread Emanuel Boboiu (Manu)

Hi,
Using Internet Explorer, in File menu there is the option Import and Export.
Here there are some radio buttons, the third one is Export to a file.
Press nex, here you have to choose what do you want to export, press space
bar on Favorites to check it. Nex, nex, finish, finally the default name of
the file containing your favorite sites is bookmark.htm, the file can be
found in My documents.
On the other computer, in Internet Explorer, go in same place, File menu,
Import and Export. Choose now the second radio buton, Import from a file.
After pressing next, you have to check favorites, next, choose the file
bookmark.htm and that's all.

I have Internet Explorer 8.0.

Hi again,
Yes I did this and copied configurations to my CF card.
One other question. I wanted to copy my stock analysis folder under
favorites but had trouble.
I pressed start menu entered on favorites and scrolled down to my stock
analysis folder. Selected folder, copied and it would not copy nor
paste.
I finally opened each web site and pressed F6 key and copied each URl to
clipboard and tried to copy to folder on CF card. this did not work.
So I created a stoc analysis.txt in notepad and copied the 3 urls into
text file into my folder on CF card.

Any reasons why I could not easily copy the folder?

Make a folder on your flash memory and paste the content there.
After you can copy the content in the same folder named PlaceMarkers in

2010-03-12 Thread Emanuel Boboiu (Manu)
Hello all!
Clicking the link bellow, you cand download Jaws 11.0 and all versions Scripts
for Yahoo Messenger 10.0.
These scripts are updated by Pontes IT Department, Romania.
Last update: 12 march 2010.

The messages in the instant window are read automatically by Jaws.
The alt + 1, 2, 3, ... 9 keystrokes work correctly.
The emoticons are spoken. The graphics were labeled one by one.
New keystroke added: control + shift + enter open the last address found in the
window. For instance, if someone send you a Youtube link, you press control +
shift + enter and the web browser will open the last link (URL) vizible in
current window..

Note:
If you use Yahoo Messenger 8, the scripts work like before, nothing changed for
this version, only emoticons are spoken and the keystroke Control + Shift +
Enter click the last link..
During the instalation you will be ask about version of JAWS that you use with
Yahoo, after, if the jaws is in another language than English, it is necesary
to choose it during the instalation, for instance, not ENU, but ITA, HUN etc..

Here it is the link for download:

hello there;

well, you could,

copy your first message,
ctrl+c,

next, you can append to clipboard,
WindowsKey+c
and, then,
append again,

so,

normal copy to clipboard for your first message,
second message, append to clipboard, and third message, append to
clipboard.

Why don't you just copy everything to word.
I don't think the clip board would be a good idea since when wanting to
review what you've coppied, you will not be able to use your window
navigation keys to review, an just simply a keystroke.

2009-11-23 Thread Emanuel Boboiu (Manu)
I sent this message some hours ago, but I don't know why, it didn't
arrive to me...

Hello all, I am new Here.

If someone is interested, at the link bellow there are Jaws 10.0 and 11.0
scripts for Yahoo Messenger 10.0.
These scripts are updated by Pontes IT Department, Romania.
The messages in the instant window are readed automatically by Jaws.
  The alt + 1, 2, 3, ... 9 keystrokes work correctly.
New keystroke added: control + shift + enter open the last address found in
the window. For instance, if someone send you a Youtube link, you press control
+ shift + enter and the web browser will open the last web address vizible in
current window..

At the link bellow, first heading is the message about Yahoo Scripts on
Pontes Organization Forum, there is the download link for scripts.
After the web page will be loaded, press h to go to the start of the
message with the download link.
