Hm. Does Windows itself pick up the other drive? I don't know anything about this Mp3 Ripper program. But if Windows doesn't pick up the drive, the program probably can't either. And I thought I remembered you posting something earlier about Windows itself not being able to register your external drive? I could be wrong. Haha Maybe look around in the program for a preferences, or settings, dialog box.
