Hi All; I suggested to a friend that she update to XPSP3 and so she had a Jaws chalenged / sighted friend help her using the direct download link provided by Mr. Ferrin. After the download install was complete she got a message stating that the catalogue files were not installed. would you all please tell me if this is normal or something went wrong and if something went wrong, how to fix the issue? Hi, SP3 shouldn't in theory be an issue if she's running jaws 6, i've used jaws 5 on SP3 in the past and it seems to work well enough. just allow it to do what it wants/has to do regarding files etc. Mo. Hi Flor Mo; Thank you both for your input. I think the problem is that I forgot to tell them to disable the anti-virus program before installing SP3.
