Are your phones plugged into the computer, VIA the USB?

I wanted to move some files from my old I phone to the new. The Verizon
support told me to go under my computer and in the I phone first move the
file(s) to a place on my hd. Then plug in the new phone and relocate them.
Neither of my phones show up under my computer. What do I need to do for
windows 7 to see these phones? I am using the latest jaws 15on a win 7 32
bit machine.

Lenny, are you using the actual USB port? If you plug your phone into a hub ti
may not work correctly. Hope that helps somewhat.

Lenny,
Even, if I connect my iPhone to my other laptop which is not sink to the iPhone
it still comes up in my Computer, but I have to double tap the prompt that I
trust this computer in the iPhone.
And the Apple iPhone is listed there as a option when I arrow down.
The only thing you'll be able to view is your pictures and videos.

HTH,
Jorge

Hi

The only things that you could move between iPhones using My computer are
pictures and videos. The iPhone will only show up in My computer if you
actually have pictures or videos on it.. Moving any other files between
iPhones requires the use of iTunes. You could sync your old iPhone to the
computer, and then sync your computer to the new iPhone. Or you could make a
backup of the old iPhone, and then restore that backup on the new iPhone.

I also wanted to print pictures. I had to download a program that would
allow my wife to grab the pictures from the phone. I did get everything
moved by doing a I tunes backup and recover on the new phone. It just
bothers me that the phone will not show up in my computer.
