You should be able to do it from within IE. When you go into IE, are you being prompted to make it the default? I think there is a checkbox for this somewhere within tools options which I always keep checked so I can be alerted, but unfortunately I can't remember just where it is. Hope this helps a bit. Ann, It has always been my experience that opening any browser that was not currently the default would produce a dialogue box asking if you wanted it to become the default browser. Have you opened IE to see if this happens? It only does that if you have it set that way in internet options. To make IE your default browser: Go into Internet Options from the control panel. You can go to the programs tab and check the box to have IE tell you if it is the default browser or not.
