Re: [JAWS-Users] Replying directly to sender question

Control JAWS key r is reply to sender, useful in mailing lists where you
can reply to the individual rather than the whole list. Control R is a
standard Outlook Express keystroke to reply to a message.

Control JAWS key r is reply to sender, useful in mailing lists where you
can reply to the individual rather than the whole list. Control R is a
standard Outlook Express keystroke to reply to a message.

 Hi All,

I just noticed that when I reply directly to a sender on an Email list
 using
the keystroke insert, shift, +R that I can't delete something I have
 typed
whether it is a letter or a whole word. I can edit an Email if I
 forward
 or
just reply using the control +R keystroke. Has anyone else had this
problem? If so, is there a fix for this? This is happening in both
 Jaws
 9
10 latest. I am running XP/SP3 Outlook Express. All ideas will be
greatly appreciated. Thanks much, take care.

John, yes I believe it is, but it never works for me with Microsoft Outlook
when trying to reply directly to someone on an e-mail list. I'm always told:
unable to retrieve senders address, and left in an e-mail addressed to the

Cheers

Hi Flor, Lenny, John,

Jaws / insert key, shift, +R eqals respond directly to sender. I was
screwing up because I wasn't tabbing down to the edit field after invoking
the respond directly to sender keystroke. Something about the responses
made me think to tab down and all is fine except for my major brain fart!
Thank you all for setting me straight. Take care.
