Re: [JAWS-Users] accepting and denying meeting requests: Outlook 2007

2010-08-01 Thread Annette Carr
Here is what I do to manage Outlook invites. After I read the info about
the invite, I:

use ESC to close out of the invite

press the down arrow once and then the up arrow once. This moves the cursor
so that focus is put back on the item in the list that you just read. I do
not know why this working like this, I did not have this problem until I
updated to Office 2007 Jaws 11.

Press your applications key and down arrow to the option that you want,
accept, deny, etc.

HTH,
Annette

I got a meeting request. My mom told me that for her, on her pc at work,
she usually has an accept button, and a reject button. I'm not seeing that
on my end, and with her being sighted, neither does she. So, when we hit
enter to open up the meeting request, what then do we need to do either to:

1.Accept it

2. Deny it.

3. Or finally, propose a new time

Thanks.

Chris.

Chris,

You should be able to open the message and then press your alt key. If
it doesn't open to the, message tab, then right arrow until you see that
tab. Then tab through your options. Accept, tentative, reschedule and so
on.
