Hi, yesterday and today when my computer is on I have a Norton security
dialog going on and I cannot get rid of it. It won't read me anything that
is on the page. The jaws help key, insert f1, says there are dialog boxes
but I can't get it to read anything on the page. I tried the jaws cursor
to

no avail. Any thoughts? Judy Tallie

Hi, George, I am the one with Norton antivirus and have always had it since
I've had computers. How do you mean it is not compatable with jaws? You mean
you can't read the screen, like what I am experiencing now? Thanks. Do you
know of an antivirus program as good as Norton that is better? Thanks in
advance. Judy Tallie

Sugar,
Norton is a good anti virus, but is not compatible with jaws.

If you have Jaws 13 and above, multi-layered command insert-space, then O
for Convenient OCR, then W for Window, C for Object or S for full-screen.

Read with the results, the text it may recognize will be in a different
voice. You might be able to left-click on some stuff to take an action that
you normally can't do. I suggest you read about it on the FS training area
where they have some nice tutorials.

Steve, thanks a lot. I will keep this for future reference, but in doing
what you said I could read it, but couldn't click the button to cancel what
it wanted to do. Left click didn't work, neither did anything else. What a
pain. Judy

I been using AVG antivirus since 2008 and never had a problem.
The interface is easy to operate.

I never used the free version.
