JNM - THE MIGHTY HAND OF GOD

THE MIGHTY HAND OF GOD

The fivefold ministry can be illustrated by the human hand. Some insight into the
interaction between fivefold ministers and the other members of Christ's Body can be
gained by looking at the natural example of the human hand and the human body. The
Saints are members of the Body of Christ. They desperately need the hand of God to
minister to them. Most members of the human body are stationary and limited in their
function to the rest of the body. However, the hand can minister to all members from
the head to the toe. Most of the hand ministries travel and minister to the Saints
throughout the worldwide, corporate Body of Christ. The fully-restored hand of God of
fivefold ministers is now ministering to the Saints, preparing them for the coming
Saints Movement when Christ will be fully glorified in His Saints.

THE APOSTLE = THE THUMB

The thumb more properly represents the ministry of the apostle. Notice that the thumb
can touch and minister to all four of the fingers. As the hand functions, sometimes it
is flat and all fingers are side-by-side. When taking hold of something, the thumb
goes to one side of the object and the four fingers encircle from the opposite
directions gives power to the hand. The thumb is not in opposition or over the fingers
but is designed to complete the hand for its full function and power.

The hand of God of the fivefold ministry has been greatly restricted in its powerful
purposes. It has had to function with only four fingers. The power and function is
limited greatly by the lack of a thumb. Since all elements of the hand of God are
being restored fully, the hand of God will be extended in full power and demonstration.

THE PROPHET = FOREFINGER

The forefinger is referred to as the one that points. The prophet has the ministry of
revelation and anointing that points the way for the Body of Christ. The forefinger is
also the one most closely related to the thumb. Though the approach their grip on
something from opposite directions, it is this opposite approach that gives the hand
the power to take a powerful grip on things. The prophets and apostle have the closest
working relationship in their hand ministry to the Body of Christ.

THE EVANGELIST = MIDDLE FINGER

The middle finger extends the farthest on the hand. It is the outreach ministry
extended to the evangelization of the world. It is in the middle of all activity of
the hand, It is usually the largest of the fingers. The evangelist usually has the
largest meetings in evangelistic campaigns. The evangelist is a vital part of the
ministry of the hand.

THE PASTOR = RING FINGER

This is the finger that the wedding ring goes on. The pastor is married to the Saints.
He is with them 24 hours a day. Prophets and evangelists come and go, but the pastor
is bound to the local Saints by the ring of their shepherding relationship.

THE TEACHER = LITTLE FINGER

Though the little finger is the smallest, it provides balance to the hand. The
teaching of the Word of God line upon line, precept upon precept, is desperately
needed within the Church. The teacher is a vital member of the hand ministry of Christ
to His Church.

The hand is the only outward member of the body that can minister to all parts of the
body from back to front and from head to toe.

First Peter 5:5-6 says the Saints are to humble themselves under the mighty hand of
God and they will be exalted in due time. The fivefold ministry represents the hand of
God. It is almost impossible for individuals to humble themselves under God without
humbling themselves in submission and relationship to Christ's delegated
representatives of Himself to His Church.

TEAM MINISTRY

No matter how powerful a Saint is in individual ministry, every Saint still needs to
be connected to a particular expression of God's corporate Body. Iron sharpens iron.
Just as the Day of the Saints is about "average" believers rather than big-name
ministers, it is also about team ministry, not operating in isolation. Giftings and
anointings are given by God and activated by faith. But maturity comes from years of
submission to the process of God which are worked out in us by our interactions with
other people. God created mankind to need relationship and we will never be fully
functional until we are properly relating to others. Jesus said, "By this all will
know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another." Committed,
accountable relationship with Christ's fivefold ministers provides the Saints with
accountability, mentoring, opportunities to minister and to exercise flexibility,
forgiveness, and love.

The greatest mark of a mature minister or Saint is not the ability to prophesy
powerfully or do miracles; it's the ability to get along well and work well with
others. The Church is both an army and a family, and it is eternal. Don't think you
will able to go to Heaven

Morning: The Back Door Into Hell
"Art thou become like unto us?" --Isaiah 14:10

What must be the apostate professor's doom when his naked soul appears before God? How
will he bear that voice, "Depart, ye cursed; thou hast rejected me, and I reject thee;
thou hast played the harlot, and departed from Me: I also have banished thee for ever
from my presence, and will not have mercy upon thee." What will be this wretch's shame
at the last great day when, before assembled multitudes, the apostate shall be
unmasked? See the profane, and sinners who never professed religion, lifting
themselves up from their beds of fire to point at him. "There he is," says one, "will
he preach the gospel in hell?" "There he is," says another, "he rebuked me for
cursing, and was a hypocrite himself!"
"Aha!" says another, "here comes a psalm-singing Methodist--one who was always at his
meeting; he is the man who boasted of his being sure of everlasting life; and here he
is!"

No greater eagerness will ever be seen among Satanic tormentors, than in that day when
devils drag the hypocrite's soul down to perdition.
Bunyan pictures this with massive but awful grandeur of poetry when he speaks of the
back-way to hell. Seven devils bound the wretch with nine cords, and dragged him from
the road to heaven, in which he had professed to walk, and thrust him through the
back-door into hell. Mind that back-way to hell, professors! "Examine yourselves,
whether ye be in the faith." Look well to your state; see whether you be in Christ or
not.

It is the easiest thing in the world to give a lenient verdict when oneself is to be
tried; but O, be just and true here. Be just to all, but be rigorous to yourself.
Remember if it be not a rock on which you build, when the house shall fall, great will
be the fall of it.

O may the Lord give you sincerity, constancy, and firmness; and in no day, however
evil, may you be led to turn aside.

Evening: Escaping the World
"Having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust." --2 Peter 1:4

Vanish for ever all thought of indulging the flesh if you would live in the power of
your
risen Lord. It were ill that a man who is alive in Christ should dwell in the
corruption of sin. "Why seek ye the living among the dead?" said the angel to
Magdalene. Should the living dwell in the sepulchre? Should divine life be immured in
the charnel house of fleshly lust? How can we partake of the cup of the Lord and yet
drink the cup of Belial? Surely, believer, from open lusts and sins you are delivered:
have you also escaped from the more secret and delusive lime-twigs of the Satanic
fowler? Have you come forth from the lust of pride? Have you escaped from
slothfulness? Have you clean escaped from carnal security? Are you seeking day by day
to live above worldliness, the pride of life, and the ensnaring vice of avarice?
Remember, it is for this that you have been enriched with the treasures of God. If you
be indeed the chosen of God, and beloved by Him, do not suffer all the lavish treasure
of grace to be wasted upon you.
Follow after holiness; it is the Christian's crown and glory.

An unholy church! it is useless to the world, and of no esteem among men. It is an
abomination, hell's laughter, heaven's abhorrence. The worst evils which have ever
come upon the world have been brought upon her by an unholy church.

O Christian, the vows of God are upon you. You are God's priest: act as such. You are
God's king: reign over your lusts. You are God's chosen: do not associate with Belial.
Heaven is your portion: live like a heavenly spirit, so shall you prove that you have
true faith in Jesus, for there cannot be faith in the heart unless there be holiness
in the life.

"Lord, I desire to live as one
Who bears a blood-bought name,
As one who fears but grieving Thee,
And knows no other shame."

Gods Work Ministry Inspirational and Encouragement E-Mail

Dear Friend,

At all times we are to remember the goodness of the Lord and make a
conscious effort to be thankful. It is easy for us to pick and choose what
to be thankful for, but if we take a moment and think about the privileges
that surround us, we will realize our shortcomings in giving thanks. There
are some who look out of their window and see snowflake's and grumble about
the cold weather, but that one should be thankful that they have the
eyesight to see such beauty that is often taken for granted. There are
some who get in their car and drive to work dreading the day ahead of them,
but that one should be thankful to have a car to drive in and a job to
support their living. (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18) (Ephesians 1:3-10)

We have been given free will to be thankful for all that we have or grumble
and complain at the disappointments. I would encourage you to be thankful
and simply lift up your eyes to the Lord giving praise to Him for all that
He has given you. You will find that having an attitude of appreciation
and thanksgiving brings both the joy of the Lord into your life as well as
His peace that surpasses all understanding. (Hebrews 13:15) (Philippians 4:6-7)

I hope you are encouraged by today's message.

THANKS FOR THE MISERY

Some stories can stand dusting off. Like the one about a grandmother who
took her little grandson to the beach. They were having a good time until
a huge wave came in and swept the boy out to sea. She fell down on her
knees and pleaded to the heavens, Please return my grandson -- that's all
I ask! Please!!!

A moment later, lo and behold, a wave swelled from the ocean and deposited
the wet, yet unhurt, child at her feet. She checked him over to make sure
that he was okay. He was fine. But still she looked up to the heavens
angrily and said, When we came he had a hat!

We expect her to give thanks for this extraordinary thing which happened.
We're taught to show appreciation for that special act of kindness or
consideration which is given. Yet, can we also say thanks when all is not
so well? And better yet, should we?

A few years ago, someone stole my wife's purse. In the hassle of going
about the business of helping her to replace lost cards and identification,
I recalled the words of author Matthew Henry. Henry, too, was robbed. Yet
he found the grace to give thanks about his situation. He said, I give
thanks that I have never been robbed before; that although he took my
wallet, he did not take my life; that although he took everything, it was
not much; and finally, that it was I who was robbed and not I who robbed.

He may as well have said, Thanks for the misery! Except that Henry was
not miserable. After all, it is difficult to feel miserable when we are
busy giving thanks.

Author Unknown

Let us have a Joyous attitude and outlook on life no matter how strong the
temptation is to complain. The Lord has done many wonders in our lives
and deserves the praises of His people. The Bible declares in Psalm 100:4-5
Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise:
be thankful unto Him, and bless His name. For the Lord is good; His mercy
is everlasting; and His truth endureth to all generations.

Be encouraged to be thankful and know that it is God's desire to bless you
and increase your happiness. Having an attitude of thanksgiving reinforces
God's desire to bless you so that you may be a blessing. (Luke 12:31-32)

Read and meditate on these scriptures:

Psalm 100:1-3 Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands. Serve the
LORD with gladness: come before His presence with singing. Know ye that
the LORD He is God: it is He that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we
are His people, and the sheep of His pasture.

Colossians 3:15-17 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the
which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful. Let the word of
Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one
another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in
your hearts to the Lord. And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in
the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by Him.

Psalm 103:2-5 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits:
Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; Who
redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness
and tender mercies; Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy
youth is renewed like the eagleĆ¢?Ts.

All of these scriptures can be found in the King James Version Bible.

JNM - Tragedi Pesta Anggur

"Tragedi Pesta Anggur - Jangan terulang kembali"

Cerita ttg Pesta Anggur
(Sumber : Ethos 21 by Jansen Sinamo)

mencicipinya..ternyata isinya hanya air tawar.

Tetapi rupanya setiap warga desa itupun berpikir sama seperti kepala desanya. Setiap

anak-anak Pak Pendeta bersekolah"

model baru, dsb. Pikiran2 yang seperti i

Mengangkat Raja Pilihan Tuhan
Oleh PDT. EM. BUDHIADI HENOCH

17:15 a)

masing-masing, supaya jangan sampai masuk keluar perguruan tinggi seperti "kereta api

demikian ia menggenapi kata pepatah "raja alim raja disembah, raja lalim raja
disanggah".

Christian One Liners

"Don't let your worries get the best of you, remember, Moses started out as a basket
case".
Some people are kind, polite, and sweet-spirited - until you try to sit in their pews.
Many folks want to serve God, but only as advisers.
It is easier to preach ten sermons than it is to live one.

The good Lord didn't create anything without a purpose, but mosquitoes come close.

When you get to your wit's end, you'll find God lives there.

People are funny, they want the front of the bus, the middle of the road, and the back
of the church.

Opportunity may knock once, but temptation bangs on your front door forever.

Quit griping about your church; if it was perfect, you couldn't belong.

If the church wants a better pastor, it only needs to pray for the one it has.

God Himself! does not propose to judge a man until he is dead . . . so why should you?

Some minds are like concrete, thoroughly mixed up and permanently set.

Peace starts with a smile.

I don't know why some people change churches; what difference does it make which one
you stay home from?

A lot of church members who are singing "Standing on the Promises" are just sitting on
the premises.

We were called to be witnesses, not lawyers or judges.

Be ye fishers of men ... you catch them ... He'll clean them.

Coincidence is when God chooses to remain anonymous.

Don't put a question mark where God put a period.

Don't wait for 6 strong men to take you to church.

Forbidden fruits create many jams.

God doesn't call the qualified, He qualifies the called.

God grades on the cross, not the curve.

God loves everyone, but probably prefers "fruits of the spirit" over "religious nuts!"

God promises a safe landing, not a calm passage.

He who angers you, controls you!

If God is your Co-pilot . . . swap seats!

Prayer: Don't give God instructions . . . just report for duty!

The task ahead of us is never as great as the Power behind us.

We don't change the message, the message changes us.

You can tell how big a person is by what it takes to ... discourage him.

The best mathematical equation I have ever seen is: 1 cross + 3 nails = 4 given.

The Will of God will never take you to where the Grace of God will not protect you.

"Father, bless the person reading this in whatever it is that You know.

From: "Siregar Berliana" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

BITTERNESS vs FORGIVENESS

Forgiveness is not forgetting
Forgiveness is a choice
By forgiving, you let the person off your hook, but they're not off God's hook.

You forgive others for your sake so that you can be free.

Forgiveness is agreeing to live with the consequences of other person's sin. You have
no choice but to live with the consequences so the choice is weather to do so in the
bondage of bitterness or the freedom of forgiveness.

Do not wait for the other person to ask for your forgiveness before forgiving them.
They may never do so.

How do you forgive from the heart? You allow God to bring to the surface the painful
emotions you feel towards those who've hurt you.

Forgiveness is choosing not to hold someone's sin against him or her anymore.

Don't wait to forgive until you feel like forgiving. You will never get there. Freedom
is what you gain right now, not necessarily an immediate change in feelings.

JNM - Mengapa Kita Tidak Kaya

2004-06-28 Terurut Topik pttwr
From: "Lesminingtyas" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

Mengapa Kita Tidak Kaya ?

Sabtu minggu lalu ribuan siswa di Bogor menerima raport kenaikan kelas. Sebagian siswa

angkot 08 ngetem menunggu penumpang. Anak saya bersungut-sungut, katanya "Uh..sebel,
kenapa sih kita nggak beli mobil saja, biar nggak susah-susah naik becak"

Sebelum naik angkot 08 Jurusan Pasar Anyar - Cibinong, saya mengeluarkan selembar uang

anak saya terus berdiam diri.

Ketika angkot yang kami tumpangi menyusuri Jl. Raya Bogor, jalanan menjadi begitu
macet. Anak saya semakin menunjukkan kekesalan. "Maap Mas, bukannya saya pengin
tahu.

"Ah, sebel ! Nggak enak naik angkot, macet lagi ! Enak dong kayak teman-teman, ke
sekolah diantar pakai mobil" jawab anak saya ketus.

berceramah tentang pentingnya bersyukur.

membuat kami berdua terganggu.
tepat disebut mentertawakan.

"Bagaimana komentar Mas Hari Rusli ?" saya meniru gaya Adi Nugroho, berusaha menggoda
terus berusaha menggoda anak saya.
