I cannot :). Now it works. I don't know what was a problem? Maybe a
portmaster? After I rebuilt all other QT5 ports and that qt5-multimedia build
without problem. I did try AUDIOPLUGIN and just with GSTREAMER and it works.
Thank you for the help and please apologize for my too fast report.

This causes a configuration failure in webkit-qt5, as it uses pkg-config to
find sqlite3 (and qconfig.pri would have -no-pkg-config).
Instead, do not pass -no-pkg-config and add USES=pkgconfig to make it sure
qmake can find it at configuration time.

 M +2 -1 Makefile

Project ERROR: WebKit requires SQLite. Either make it available via pkg-config,
set $SQLITE3SRCDIR or build WebKit under qt5.git.

[kde-freebsd] 4.14.3?

2015-02-26 Thread ajtiM
Hi!

Just a curiosity...
I use KDE 4.14.3 from early December from area51 and it works very good (for
me better than previous version) but it is not in the ports still (outside is
4.14.5). Is it something wrong, please?

Thank you.

 Hi,

It got delayed considerably because I generated an defunct patchset
around christmas and was rather busy IRL in January.

area51's KDE 4.14.3 (or rather, last week's version of it) passed an
exp-run last week and is currently under review for PORTS merging at

Thank you very much. I didn't know and it works for me very good.
Thanks to ALL for the hard and good work.

Confirmed in KDE 4.14.2 on 10.1-R with pkg(8) packages installed.

Strigi has not been needed for a while, whereas Nepomuk support was replaced
with Baloo, and with this change Soprano stopped being used as well.

And my question is: Do we still need Strigi, Nepomuk and Soprano to bi

[kde-freebsd] devd and kde

2014-12-23 Thread Ajtim
Hi!

I did install Xorg with devd and I don't have a problem with mouse and
keyboard but as a KDE user I lost Power management. In System Settings -
Power Management is everything dark: Power Management configuration module
could not be loade. The Power Management Service appears not to be running.
This can be solved by starting or scheduling it inside 'Startup and
Shutdown'.
In the 'Startup Shutdown' - Service manager is Power Management checkmarked
and stus is running. I I stopped and start again I got a message:
KDE Power Management System could not be initialized. The backend reported
the following error: No valid Power Management backend plugins are available.
A new installation might solve this problem. Please check your system
configuration.

Thank you.

2014-11-23 Thread Ajtim
Hi!

I have installed KDE 4.14.2 and I did update Kdepim4 because of the problem
with KMail but it is not so much better now - it works few days than stopped.
After rebuilding again it work again but complain that cannot move files but it
moved/sort correct than after day or two it stopped work again...

Is it KDE 4.14.3 from area51 ready to install, please? As I red the problem
should be solved with 4.14.3 version.

Supposed to be a bug in 4.11? Hm. If I don't have widgets locked than doesn't

[kde-freebsd] kde 4.12 and workspace 4.11

2014-02-22 Thread Ajtim
Hi!

I did update KDE from 4.11.4 to KDE 4.12.2 but in ports we have kdeworkspace
version 4.11.6. I didn't have hard time to build and installed KDE 4.12 but I
have unusual thinks now with KMail. First one is that I have identical Local
Folders. I cannot delete no one. I unsubscribe from one and it show me one but
there is still another one. I have email filters and they works but there are
still complain that cannot move email from Inbox to other folders. There are
five (5) identical Personal Contacts in Address Book.
Are those problems related to workspace 11.6, please. When I got an error
complaining about moving emails from Inbox to FreeBSD for examle it is comming
from Workspace.

Thank you very much.

[kde-freebsd] kde update - confused

2014-02-20 Thread Ajtim
Hi!

I am running KDE 4.11.4 and I like to update to 4.12 but as I
read /usr/ports/UPDATING I am confised:
KDE SC ports have been updated to 4.12.2. kdeadmin, kdenetwork, kdesdk,
and kdetoys ports have been split due to upstream changes.

KDE Workspace port has been updated to 4.11.6. It requires modern
Mesa libraries, provided by WITH_NEW_XORG knob. To update Xorg ports
to newer version follow instructions at
  https://wiki.freebsd.org/Graphics

Do I need delete kdeadmin, kdenetwork, kdesdk, kdetoys? Why is KDE
Wokspace not updated to 4.12?

Thank you.

I did rebuild blas and lapack and the problem exist:

lapack and blas were suggestions based on numpy's dependencies. Start by
finding out which port installs libalapack.so and go from there. Some
quick googling for libalapack already shows ports/176993, for example.

Thank you very much. I did reinstall py-numpy and py-mathplotlib and it works

On my FreeBSD 10.0-RC5 v(amd64) I still cannot build KDE4-runtime without add
NO_STAGE=yes in Makefile.
I got the same error as I posted before.

Qt 5 is NOT an upgrade of Qt 4, it's a different version of the
framework. Right now you can't use it for anything, but I'm working to
  make it committable.

As Alberto writes, Qt5 is not usuable with KDE 4. The situation is this:

  - KDE4 is QT4-only.
  - Qt5 is sometimes source-incompatible with Qt4
  - Qt5 introduces a strong emphasis on QML, which is new (relative to Qt4)
technology, although it's been available for, what, 2 years already.
  - With Qt5, KDE is now KDE Frameworks and KDE Applications, and the
entire layout of the packages they ship is changed; some things have moved
from kdelibs (developed in KDE4) into Qt, and the whole stack has become much
more modularized (some might say fragmented, but that's only if you're
 building it yourself).
  - KDE Frameworks makes heavy use of the QML from Qt5.
  - I gather Qt5 is a hard nut already on FreeBSD
  - KDE Frameworks probably contains a year and a half of mostly-Linux
development and will be quite a challenge.

Thank you for the explanation.

major elements _should_ work (using it over here). Can't report about nieche

The version in area51 wasn't in sync with the one in ports. Your build
problem should be fixed by r9762.

  The same is with avogadro.

My first guess is that both libstdc++ and libc++ are being loaded at the
same time and this is causing a lot of problems.

Can you rebuild science/openbabel with clang/libc++ after svn up'ing to
ports r333701 and see if it fixes your problems? If not, can you check
what else you've built with gcc?

No, it doesn't help. I try to rebuild also kalzium with clang which I got an
error and with gcc which cannot build now.
Avogadro crashed too still.

Interesting, I have 10-BETA3 r257917 and kde-4.11.3 built completely with
clang (that is, all of KDE that builds with clang), and the launcher works
fine - it also worked with all versions of KDE=4.11.1 and FreeBSD-10 since
ALPHA1. I had that issue with FreeBSD9-STABLE and KDE-4.10.x in the past
though (thought it was fixed upstream).

Yes, it is interesting because my installation was so smooth with clang except
kalzium and avogadro. I am not sure if I had more problems. But now I have.

I did change settings for klauncher and it works now :).

  Thank you.

I had this behavior when I built Marble with gpsd support: the marble
runner crashes, taking krunner with it. After a few tries krunner seems
to give up. To see what's crashing, either look in your .xsession-errors
or check for core files after starting KDE (clean them up first, then try
  alt-f2).

Yes, marble seems to be involved. There is a workaround described in
the FreeBSD forums. If you disable OpenStreetMap with Marble in the
krunner config, it does not crash anymore.

Also, this works fine on FreeBSD-9 STABLE (WITH_CLANG_IS_CC).

It looks like that is FreeBSD 10.0 problem?

  Thanks.

I can reproduce this one over here. Adding back kde@ and also a backtrace of
the crash. It indicates a poor dynamic_cast in kconfig, which is also causing
 trouble in marble IIRC.

Also, can anyone else not build x11/kdelibs4 with USE_GCC=any on FreeBSD-10?
I'm getting meinproc4 segfaults at parallel build and undefined symbols at
 linking with MAKE_JOBS_UNSAFE over here.

 Alonso

With USE_GCC=any in /etc/make.conf I cannot buil on FreeBSD 10.0-BETA3 (amd64):

work.
And I had still problem with nepomuk.

Thank you.

Yes, it's perfectly possible, as the ports llvm installs
into /usr/local while the base one is in /usr. Just like you can
have base and ports gcc at the same time in FreeBSD-9.

I think he's talking about devel/llvm33. Either way, it's perfectly
possible to do it after my latest commit to graphics/opengtl.

Yes, I did talk about devel/llvm3

[kde-freebsd] telepathy version

2013-10-22 Thread Ajtim
Hi!

I have the problem with build telepahy-qt4 (I posted earlier).
I have in /usr/ports/net-im two versions of telepathy:

telepathy-qt4 distinfo show:
SHA256 (telepathy-qt-0.9.3.tar.gz) =
c0ff57bea79b86ad343e184c16941d05f6d6d7dfd03 876b44502f11935f44bf9
SIZE (telepathy-qt-0.9.3.tar.gz) = 4414599

and

telepathy-qt distinfo shows:

SHA256 (telepathy-qt-0.14.1.tar.gz) = caa3732609be9e6472e3062e7081ad03d07f78008d
b0bd235cd29c7330176467
SIZE (telepathy-qt-0.14.1.tar.gz) = 46344

And my question is: Why KDE 4.11.2 want to install older version,
please?

Thank you.

I use area51 for install KDE 4.11 but looks like it stopped working. I saw on

The PC-BSD project no longer uses SVN, but has moved completely over to

How should I finish installation of KDE 4.11 from area51, please?

Hi!

Port p27-pykde4-4.10.1 (and previous versions too) has a problem with pop-up

When I run installation with portmaster I setup options, before building it
asked me for settings again and before installation it asked me again.
I have a problem just with this port.

Thank you.
