In Koha/ElasticSearch/Indexer.pm there are a couple of commented out 'trace_calls' entries. If you make that active, you may get more information about what's going on. It did not apply at all and had ccsr+prog themes. This new patch is just a squash patch with only the bootstrap theme changes. Test plan is the same. I removed this change, it did not work. Actually I don't see an easy way to do that and consider it as a minor and should not be a blocker. This patch adds, at the OPAC, a link Browse selected biblios when at least one biblio is checked. You can choose biblios from several page, not the current one. In this way, checkboxes already checked become again checked when you come back on this results page. After clicking the link, the Browse results block is filled with selected biblios, not (like as the current behavior) with the classic results. Test plan: - Launch a search at the OPAC - Check some biblios - Go on another page - Check some biblios - Come back to the first page and check that already checked biblio is automatically checked. - Click on the Browse selected biblios link - Check that you are able to browse results you had checked. The symptom manifests in bywatersolutions.com instance as described. 2. It partially manifests on my local dev box running over the current HEAD. I say partially, because the copy number does display correctly on my dev box with the caviate that it is always '1' because the code presently does not distinguish between items. I'm not sure why it is always '0' on the Bywater instance. The problem with the location is that the current code does not return the human-consumable form of the location, it appears to return the So there are two parts to this bug: 1. The copy number needs to be the correct one for the item selected in the batch. 2. We need to add a join in order to translate the location code into a form more palatable to the end user. If items are assigned to multiple courses, the edit links for a course item may pass the wrong course id. This is really a cosmetic issue. It appears that in Template Toolkit, if you reuse an existing variable name in a foreach loop, it will not create a new temporary variable but will instead re-use the existing variable leaving assigned at the end to the last assignment, just as it would in Perl code. This is not a problem when all items are assigned to one and only one course, but can cause issues when we loop through the other courses an item may be on. This is solved easily by renaming the variable used in the foreach loop to another unused name. I would consider this bugfix if it was implemented as a Koha::RecordProcessor filter for MARC::Record objects, rather than just another hook to C4::Search. That way we could use it wherever we need it. BUT I have to say that I've been playing with an implementation that works with MARCMXL instead (using XSLT) and could help us simplicy results rendering and probably performance. It mainly contains old files that are not used any more. I found two files that are still referenced: [1] Bug-4246-Talking-Tech-itiva-phone-notifications.pl A readme file refers to it. The code in this file slightly differs from the TalkingTech db revision. It can probably be deleted too, but I will first check. [2] oai_sets.sql This file should remain. It is used in dbrev 3.07.00.029. If there is some SQL here, it's executed. Note that there is no version update, so if you run the updatedatabase script twice, you'll get an sql error probably. This patch will be very useful for sandbox testing process.
