That wasn't very much of an 'ado' - just stating that obvious political slaps
cause hard feelings and feuds which I'm not interested in.

No, I am not the person from Tenneessee. I've been here a long time,
certainly before that susan appeared on the horizon. I've never been on chat, and I
think that's where she caused some upsets. Thank you for inquiring as perhaps
others were also confused.

To Susan in FL and Other Spiders,

My comment, who is *very* happy to see T's signature, was not an endorsement of her
political views. Which, I might add, are directly opposite from mine. I merely meant
that I was *very* happy to see T back safely from her travels. Susan, you're making
much ado about nothing. Did you used to live in Tennessee?

It is upsetting to those who support the current administration, and pleasing
to those who support the candidate running against him. If the lace list
wants to be divided in that way, then I'll be unsubbing. I have no dog in that
hunt, and just loathe the hurt feelings and sniping that goes with politics.

I must not be getting all the emails. I haven't seen anything like that. I
like to read all the messages, so I hope I'm not missing anything(lace or
otherwise!).

The lace list is hardly the place to express one's political
opinions...especially to an international audience...it is very
inappropriate and i hope that
i will see no further evidence of this bad taste...carole walker scott

I think we decided that anyone who had a complaint about the list
should address it **privately** to Avital, who would deal with it.

Yes, this one didn't make sense to me either!! So either I'm also missing
emails, or different people have differing ideas of what constitutes political
comment.

I couldn't make sense of this email. In fact I was so concerned I had
missed some emails that I went to the lace archives and couldn't find
anything there either.

She was probably referring to Tamara's signature referring to a No Carb diet...

Betty Ann in Roanoke who is *very* happy to see T's signature, No Carb or HI Carb.

Oh, I did not know that was political statement. I only recognize one name
of them so I don´t think that is disturbing. At the first look I thought it
was a carb-free diet, a real one :-) and was going to ask what one ate. Well
I stick to my round behind and lace any way.
