Re: [LU] Reading
I can't believe how poor we are. Their second goal all stemmed from Pennington's astonishing inability to hit a straightforward volley unchallenged into their net from about seven yards out. We should have been 3-1 up but instead were pegged back to 2-2 within seconds. Pennington's miss was the turning point for me. We are also a team with absolutely no luck - witness Lasogga's charge down bouncing back off the inside of the post. This team needs a complete overhaul, and I very much doubt Orta is the man to oversee that. How many league goals has Ekuban scroed for us so far? What about Grot? Surely more than the man they were bought to replace, right? Oh. Thoroughly pissed off. Re: [LU] Team
1-1 and an interesting half between 2 poor teams who are both trying to play but both making schoolboy errors. We could be 3 or 4 down though. De Bock has made 2 bad errors and for the goal our backline just went to sleep. Up to 40 minutes we hadn't really done anything at the other end but we came alive with the Jansson goal. There's no doubt about it we can win this easily but I fear we will may a mistake at the other end and I fully expect Beradi to scythe down Barrow at some point either for a penalty or a red card. Ekuban has been lively but hasn't produced. I think Pistol Pete will come and get one after Ekuban has bagged his. 3-1 Leeds On Saturday, 10 March 2018, 15:18:45 GMT, {broken-address} Richard Walkerwrote: 1-0 down - Jansson asleep for me. Re: [LU] Team
For the players we have available I think that is about as close as it gets to be being the team I would want. Only issue for me is Lasogga. I just think he needs someone fast like Ekuban next to him to run the channels so he can play in the box. I suppose it makes sense for Hecky now to switch his team around especially when it hasn't worked. Re: [LU] Team
To be honest, and I'm Vierra's biggest fan, he has lost all confidence and his performances this season have been poor. I don't think O'Kane's have been any better but I would not be tempted to put Vierra back in until the team start to improve.
