Re: [LU] more wasted money

2016-04-13 Thread bruvvaleeluv
The piece on Look North, with Lucy Ward's legal bod in attendance, emphasised
the stupidity of the club. Unless there's an agreed settlement re compensation
then there'll be another court case in June, if I understand properly. The
lawyer seemed to imply that he doubted common sense would break out any time
soon, so Leeds's increasingly poor name will be dragged through it again!

Is there no-one, either at the club or one of his mates, who can tell him what
an arsehole he's being. Where's Dennis Healey when you need an appropriate
quote?

Yep, and seemed, in advance, the most nailed on case you could imagine, which
again makes you question the judgement of certain individuals. As well as the
financials, Cellino's comments about women once again links the club we love

Could you imagine it - £30 million to find on getting promotion, a manager
who'd be the Premiership's fattest ever, the fans still trying to oust the
owner, and a team which would, as a necessity, need 7 Premiership quality
players!

Mid table obscurity never sounded so good :-)

Just watched the 'highlights' on Sky - they must have had about 15 chances to
our half dozen. On another night it probably would have been another inglorious
night in Wales, but sometimes luck's with you. First goal had a slight
deflection, but at least it was on target. Like everyone else, I didn't see any
points coming our way, but just as well they have given that Colin's Rotherham
beat Boro. Not safe yet!

the ongoing search for more backers at the time. I have absolutely no idea how
much money Cellino has got either, but given he's deferred any decision to sell

I think it was probably me Simon who said that by passing the ball to each
other, for example, the football was better. Certainly better than Hockaday and
Rosler era. Even against Brighton, which was a shambles, we had 52% possession
- we had quite a few chances, albeit naff all on target, etc. Compared with the
Hockaday period you have to say it's better now, even though we are mainly
toothless, are rubbish in defence, and seem to have no passion most of the time
- under Hockaday we simply couldn't pass, no matter how many shifts they put
in!

Re: [LU] Celino interiew on sky - link

2016-03-02 Thread bruvvaleeluv
What?? I'd say his intentions are pretty relevant - does he want glory, as I
hope he does, or is he looking for paydirt? Of course, if glory comes then
selling will be much more profitable.

Re: [LU] Celino interiew on sky - link

2016-03-02 Thread bruvvaleeluv
I can believe he was embarrassed that's for sure - I couldn't watch the second
half either! Agree that Evans needs to take advice around playing that f*ckwit
Wootton too. I can also believe Cellino wants us to do well, for both glory and
financial reasons. However, whilst we're stuck with him, as well as putting his
hand in his pocket (maybe) he is an embarrassment that can match the team at
the drop of a hat. Any future looks compromised, at best, with him around, but
it is as it is.

I can't even make my mind up about the fat knacker - there' no doubt we're
playing better football than under Rosler, Hockaday etc, but with little
creativity, and a centre so soft that we cave in catastrophically like at
Brighton. There are some very basic defensive issues not being addressed, and I
don't know if it's because the defenders we've got are
shit/stupid/lazy/uncommitted, or if the manager simply cannot motivate
them/organise them, or is it elements of all the above? And what is the
obsession with playing players out of position - Cook, Byron, Coyle, Wootton,
Mowatt?

It's all a massive f*ck-up that's for sure!

Re: [LU] Crazy team selection !

2016-02-29 Thread bruvvaleeluv
Hey, for a laugh, let's play 2 against 2 at the back and see what happens! FFS
- the performance has been an utter embarrassment. As for Wooton - one harsh
penalty, one stood on flat feet as Dunk headed it in. F***ing wanker! Bamba's
passing - he's no Beckenbauer is he! I reckon 7-1.

Bloody hell Nick, that me me laugh! Keep up with the reports - you don't want
to be bottling all that angst up - let it go, let it go :-) Agree about Mowatt
too - he makes McPhail look like Linford Christie!

11 points of the play-offs :-)

Re: [LU] Byram - good article

2016-01-20 Thread bruvvaleeluv
Very good article - of course Cellino has no real understanding of Leeds or
British football, and somehow believes that his maverick approach will result
in something magical and promotion will be ours. It won't, and if we can't get
him, and those potless arabs, out of the club there's a real danger we'll be
dragged downwards again. I reckon my days will be over before Leeds sniff the
Premiership again. I'll happily be proved wrong, but it's the same story retold
continually.

Yep, back to the conference for that useless f*cker! Sheff Wed were pretty
average though, and we looked comfortable-ish for most of the game, aside from
Silvestri's juggling and not knowing where his goals are. Wooton and Bellusci
are accidents waiting to happen every game, but harsh that both goalie's
mistakes resulted in goals. Murphy - struts around like mr big-dick Sunday pub
player, but can't pass! All that said, IF our goal had stood we just might have
got something out of it!

Re: [LU] Derby

2015-12-30 Thread bruvvaleeluv
I thought we played well against a confident team, a team who appear to have
been reading the Chewlsea guide to diving and moaning! Of course Bamba sat on
his arse was a low point - schoolboy defending. Again, I thought Murphy's
passing and free kicks were pretty crap, but all in all a good point. Ince cut
through us like butter, and they passed it around well, but we weren't
outclassed like we would have been last year. As a vocal doubter of Evans, I
have to say he's got the team organised in a way which has a chance of working.
I don't like the first time playing it back in the triangle thing we're
employing at the moment, as we go from promising positions to defence far too
often, allowing the other team to set up, but we look like a team at least, and
credit has to go to Evans for that. I note he now has a 6xl branded hoodie now
:-)

Re: [LU] Forest

2015-12-27 Thread bruvvaleeluv
When did Wootton became an over-lapping full-back? Thought he was pretty
terrible. Murphy too, and I've defended him before, acts like bills big
bollocks strutting around, but his final passes/crosses are dire. Quite what
Bellusci and Silvestri were f***ing about at during their ladies excuse me I
don't know, but Bellusci, one of my least favourite players, did lots of other
good things, and was possibly our motm? As for Wood - well he's clearly trying,
but he misses too many in a team that don't create many, that he's a luxury we
probably can't play for much longer unless he starts hitting the net! Still,
it's another point away, and on balance I think we deserved all 3 points, so
it's not all bad. We need some cutting edge though!

2015-12-17 Thread bruvvaleeluv
Doukara's first 3 touches were awful, and I was despairing. Then he started
finding space, playing easy passes, and some trickier ones, and produced some
great link up play. Great tactical change from Evans who sounded very plausible
in his post-match interview. Aside from some flimsy defending, which could have
been punished by a better team, there was a good 60 minutes in that match to
take away. Mowatts lack of pace showed near the end too. I can't say I was
impressed by Wood's 'finishing' - way past embarrasing.

3 points though, and a good night!

Having only seen Sky's highlights, it didn't seem to me that we bossed the game
in the way that Mr Blobby was articulating :-( On the positive side, we're
hanging on, just about, to the sh*te non-descript teams in the middle, and have
moved above the really sh*te teams, although I can see us finding our level
again soon. Still, a point nearer safety - that's the only realistic target

Hoping for the double now, a Gods win followed by England beating NZ.

We're letting Huddersfield have too much possession - 79 mins we should be

My exact thoughts - why can't professional footballers pass? Both sides!

Re: [LU] Whisper it soft, but............

The England NZ game was very very very dull! OK, defences won out, but as an
advert for the game it was awful! Quite where the aggressive running and fast
handling went from last weeks second half I don't know, but a grim match. The
picky Ozzie ref didn't help either!

I was even slightly pleased for the fat knacker last night - he comes across as
having an inferiority complex, hence the naff jokes, but I suspect his heart's
in the right place (as long as it keeps going!). I will stress this in no way
commits me to supporting the FK, just that it was nice to see him happier!

Re: [LU] Cellino to sell to fans group?

2015-10-31 Thread bruvvaleeluv
Worst case scenario will be a new owner who has to sign up with that f***ing
skint Arab bank and Cellino floating around in the background like a bad smell.
Any deal has to cut out their board membership, voting rights and any other
role they might have in 'running' the club. The fact that the bank with no
money still has board representation is ridiculous - any new dawn has to get
rid of the potless glory hunters!

Best case scenario sees a business come in, who have decent lawyers and enough
money to pay off Cellino and wave bye bye to him. Would be good to have fans
representation etc, but I don't really know what that means in reality.

One good thing about today - at least the useless f*ckers can't ruin my weekend
this week :-)

As an aside, it's good to see Chewlsea being so crap!

Re: [LU] Blackurn - booo

2015-10-30 Thread bruvvaleeluv
Fair report Dave. Watched first 10 minutes last night, and the rest today, and
it was pretty dire. Clueless is a word that comes to mind. David Brennan always
reminds me nit to compare with old Leeds teams, but even saying that this is
one of the worst. Even Billy's Jack Ashurst era had some fight in them - this
lot are bottlers! In all reality In an ideal world we need 9 new players - only
Cook and Antenucci would be retained. Silverstein is pants - looks like a kid
on a Sunday morning, unreliable. The more I see of Bamba the less I like. Out
of position too often, slow and now stupidly petulant - big kid! As a team we
can't pass, too often play it behind players, and quite why we were passing it
back to the goalie from the half way line with 5 minutes to go I don't know?

As for that fat knacker, he's just the shitty icing on a very shitty cake. Has
there ever been a less athletic-looking manager/coach? Oh, and Doukara - poser!

I can't not be a Leeds fan, but this lot are garbage from top to bottom. Does
Cellino really think he's such a maverick that he can operate a business/club
like this and be successful. Having thought this might be our year, relegation
now looks a clear possibility. To arrest this I would employ George Graham as a
technical adviser, and sort the chuffing defence out. We have neither a decent
defence or attack, but someone has to start organising the team!

Depressed of Knaresborough!

Bellusci is bloody awful - he's in the Roque Jnr group for me. Unbelievably he
appears to believe he's quite good, but he's constantly out of position, always
moaning, and often plays terrible balls out of defence. We should ship him back

Re: [LU] Press Conference starting...

2015-10-20 Thread bruvvaleeluv
Think Evans must have borrowed the Hockaday script - big opportunity, win games
etc. Sky then showed some footage of him running across the pitch and having to
haul his kegs back up - nice.

I'll say one positive thing - he sounded more knowledgeable than
Hockaday. The next few weeks are going to be interesting!

Some interesting comments on Guardian website saying Evans has a conviction for
tax evasion, whilst another says he should have been sent to prison for what he
did at Boston Utd. Don't know enough about the lardass to know what's true and
his history, but no doubt we all will soon enough?

I suppose the question now is do we need to go down for Cellino to become

course it might be the long arm of the law, but ..

I think you have to say that the FA might just do us a favour if they make this

Not sure about the Botaka comment, but am sure that Bellusci is utter sh*te.
Bamba seems to play in roller blades half the time - surely wearing a decent

Rosler is just gambling on the right team? That might be harsh, but we look all

the pub after the game changing Djokovic to Jock Itch.
Between 2) and 3) very little happened.
We actually had a decent first 10 minutes, some crisp passing with Wood
holding ball up well and giving half-chances on the edge of the box to Mowatt
and Dallas, though Bamba slightly lucky to escape with a yellow early doors.

After that basically nothing happened. Wood was too isolated again and we
offered little attacking threat, Reading even less. We basically played
 4-2-3-
1 with Phillips deep with Adeyemi and Mowatt behind Wood.
At no point did i think anyone was likely to score.
