The problem is that this is a pissing contest, it isn't about compromise and using common sense to resolve an issue. I dare to dream that someone else could have managed things properly and built us up to the heights of the league and European competition without betting it all on black. It's a stupid question because it didn't have to be one or the other. The team were in a position of great promise before the massive excess started. The team was progressing nicely with a good crop of talented young players. We didn't need Fowler, Keane, the goldfish, private jets, giving players 35k when they were looking for 15k, windfall contracts all round, not to mention Woody and Bowyergate and that prick writing a book about it whilst still their manager. Funny you should write that. When I read that article I thought the opposite. How much I would like to be him. Before the sniggers. Before the snide cheapies about tablets... The guy lives his dream. In his wake many see disaster, but I dont. Not any longer. Would we trade those dreams? Would anyone on this list forsake the glory that we had never mind the price. Lets face it. If the transfer prices had not dropped we would not have capsized. That was not his doing. Look at Cardiff. Would anyone deny that they are probably going up?
