On GTK2 the check role isn't read by screen > readers but neither is the radio item. OK, you're completely right but it's not due to accessibility role but to a design issue. There are two checkbox on the screen instead of two radio button so Orca presents what's it's on the screen. We should discuss that with the design team. I've added the tag "needsUXEval" to have the input for the UX team. I agree with you, we should move from checkbox to radio button even for sighted users IMO it's an issue. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 115949] Make size of start center previews (thumbnails) adjustable
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=115949 --- Comment #3 from Ted Lee--- I posted this suggestion too hastily. After thinking it over, it doesn't make much sense. The whole idea was to have the option to make the icons smaller so more of them could be shown in the start center. For that to really work, the font size used to display the name of the file is also going to have to be made smaller or the layout arranged differently (name next to icon, say) or both and that's beginning to sound like a lot of work for not much benefit. Conclusion: if you have so many files in your recents list they don't fit in the start window, you probably want to organize and access that list in a different way, such as at least through the File menu's Recent Documents item. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 115969] Immediate Crash After Selecting Tools > Mail Merge Wizard
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=115969 --- Comment #9 from Aron Budea--- Hints for reverse bibisecting (when looking for the fixing commit instead of when a bug was introduced): 1. Verify if the bug is fixed in the latest state and is there in the oldest state. The commands to jump between the two are: git checkout oldest / git checkout master 2. Copy the hash from the latest master commit (git log master), and start bibisecting with: git bisect start oldest (the oldest hash is tagged as 'oldest') 3. At each step, test behavior, -if it is OK: git bisect bad -if it fails: git bisect good -if the build doesn't start or something: git bisect skip When reverse bibisecting, you have to use the opposite parameters for 'git bisect', that's why you have to proceed with 'bad' when it's working fine, and with 'good' when it fails. 4. After 12 steps or so, you should arrive at a single commit, paste the source-hash here. Pay close attention to step 3., it's very easy to mix up. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 115420] Crash using "Close" button for Extension Manager -> Check for Updates dialog
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=115420 --- Comment #33 from Mike Kaganski--- (In reply to Jan-Marek Glogowski from comment #30) > From the backtrace I guess we schedule an flush on the dialog, which is gone > at this point. The OpenGLFlushIdle object for the crashing operation is created long before the WinSalFrame is destroyed. I have put action breakpoints to both OpenGLFlushIdle constructor, and WinSalFrame destructor, that would output the frame's pointer address to console. Then I started the debug according to steps in bug 115975; closed the confirmation dialog using "Cancel"; and got the crash. I have examined the console output to see a number of OpenGLFlushIdle objects that got constructed prior to the destruction of that WinSalFrame which was used afterwards in the crashing flush. Next, to see if there might have been some async console output that could reorder the lines, I did the same again; but this time, before hitting the "Cancel" in confirmation, I switched to VS, and cleared the console. Then I returned and clicked "Cancel", and got the crash. This time, console only contained the dtor line, without any prior creation of OpenGLFlushIdle objects (that, obviously, were created even before clearing the debug console). I am not familiar with this corner of the code; so I don't know where to look now. But it looks like some idle processing hasn't happened in the lifetime of the dialog. If this helps, we could arrange a desktop sharing to debug this on my system. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 115956] Add function to import MathML formula from clipboard
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=115956 Regina Henschelchanged: What|Removed |Added CC||rb.hensc...@t-online.de --- Comment #2 from Regina Henschel --- Use Tools > "Import MathML from Clipboard" in the formula editor. In a Writer document e.g. you need to first use Insert Formula and then "Import MathML from Clipboard". You can combine the commands using a macro, for the cases you are sure that the clipboard contains valid MathML. The command "Import MathML from Clipboard" detects MathML in cases too, were it is MathML in content but is not marked as MathML by the source application. I think it would be too expensive to do the tests, whether it is valid MathML, on each clipboard content, to show MathML as item in the list of clipboard contents. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
