[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 58539] documents that crash Libreoffice Calc master from 18.12.2012
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=58539 --- Comment #59 from Kohei Yoshida kohei.yosh...@suse.de --- (In reply to comment #58) Let's remove fdo54638 off the list. I'll tackle that one as a separate performance bug for 4.1. We can't do anything for it for 4.0, I'm afraid. So, what remains is only this: * fdo44758 I'm still not through with this, but at least I know what's causing the crash. The type of the formula cell result is set to hybrid string, but it has to be set to matrix type for the interpreter to work properly. A quick test hack suggests that if we find a way to correctly load cached matrix values as matrix type (not as hybrids) the crash will go away. Alternatively, if we just skip loading any cached values for matrix range (or just the upper-left cell of the matrix range), the crash will go away too. I'll continue tomorrow what's the best option for this. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=59107 --- Comment #3 from Stephan Bergmann sberg...@redhat.com --- (In reply to comment #1) According to an IRC chat, the reason is that LibreOffice no longer ships stlport libraries, which Duden Korrektor links to. The error is in the extension, because that has never been an official interface. The stlport /was/ part of the URE interface (on certain platforms, among them 32-bit Windows and 32-bit Linux), at least has been until we deliberately removed it from LO 4.0, see http://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/libreoffice/2012-December/042804.html modules removal surprises. This is really irritating, as it means that as soon as you move the mouse back to the document from the toolbar, the page scrolls upwards, and you lose your place. For some reason it will scroll to the start of the document upwards, but only to the end of the current page downwards. I noticed that when you are in the position that header is invisible in the viewing window of your document and turn on the highlighting, then while moving mouse back to document area text is scrolled downward automatically. Also the behavior is inconsistent: when in highlight mode sometimes I can scroll downward and upward without problems by just moving the cursor, but sometimes it will scroll only to beginning or ending of the active page, sometimes it will scroll just few pages up/down or one up, few down or vice versa. I looked on ask.libreoffice.org and someone on a relevant thread said that commenting there would make no difference to how quickly a bug is fixed, they directed people here. Here, people are adding comments saying Please fix this and being asked to contribute to development. I'm not a developer, I'm a user who's sorely missing a simple feature.
