[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 87416] Calc - Autofilter Suggestions are not filled if first line after filter is empty
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=87416 --- Comment #3 from GerardF gerard.farg...@orange.fr --- I don't think this is a bug but a feature. Autofilter detects data in a range untill he found the 1st empty row. With this, if you add data in following rows, new rows are used by autofilter without the need to change autofilter range. In your sample, autofilter only include 1st because 2nd is empty. The same problem may occurs if row 10 (for example) is empty, autofilter will filtering only untill row 9. I think this is a bad idea of having an empty row but this is possible if you defined the range. 1 Remove the autofilter, 2 Select the whole range (A4:J105) 3 menu Data Define the range, and give a name 4 With this named range selected, Set again the autofilter. Now you can use the autofilter with an empty row. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 87357] CONDITIONAL FORMATTING: Context menu entry to edit
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=87357 --- Comment #6 from Markus Mohrhard markus.mohrh...@googlemail.com --- I don't like the request and if I have to decide it would not be implemented. Conditional formats are complex especially when it comes to handling the different corner cases. For range based conditional formats we have some dialogs to help with that problem that don't fit into the context menu. Personally I would prefer if everyone would just go through Manage Formats as it is the only way to understand what is going on in your spreadsheet. The context menu becomes a bit confusing if entries appear or disappear based on things that the user does not see/understand. One thing that I learned from Christoph is that the context menu should be simple and intuitive. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=87303 --- Comment #3 from sebriese stevebri...@gmail.com --- This is interesting. I found the variable action causing the bug. The document contains sections in addition to the imbedded spreadsheet, so when it loads, I get this message: This document contains one or more links to external data. Would you like to change the document, and update all links to get the most recent data? Yes No 1. Answering No to this question and then 2. clicking into the spreadsheet 3. and back out results in turning the spreadsheet to a bitmap that looks like a 2-prong Europe contiental electrical wall plug bitmap. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 75644] LibO applications use the window size of the start screen instead of the last used size of the document
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=75644 V Stuart Foote vstuart.fo...@utsa.edu changed: What|Removed |Added CC||vstuart.fo...@utsa.edu --- Comment #6 from V Stuart Foote vstuart.fo...@utsa.edu --- (In reply to Papamatti from comment #0) Applications use the window size of the start screen instead of the last used size of the document. If you start libre office with the start screen and select a document in the preview the application (writer for excample) it uses the size of the start screen. If you open the document directly it the application use the last used size of the document. The right behavior should be that in both cases the application opens with the last used window size of the document! Nope. Actually, window state is NOT tied to each document--but to the last launch of the component. If a component is launched from the Start Center, its window will be the size of the Start Center. If a document is launched from the OS file association, or opening a component from individual launcher, its window will open the size of the last launch of the component. And when closed the size of the Start Center adjusts accordingly. These states are recorded into the LO user profile--registrymodifications.xcu--clear it and you get defaults. As clipped from the item stanzas ...Setup:Factory['com.sun.star.frame.StartModule'] ...Setup:Factory['com.sun.star.text.TextDocument'] There is no hook within ODF document to suppor this. It could possibly be handled within the Histories:HistoryInfo item list.
