The root cause of your issue is the same as Paolo's here: the DOCX has frame objects inside table cells and the frame objects slip on top of each other. https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=72704 --- Comment #13 from dlas...@frontiernet.net --- Still present in 5.2.2.2 (Windows) As of Unicode 9.0, there are now *eight* other currency symbols that the bundled PT Serif font shows as ₽ (Ruble Sign): U+20B6, Livre Tournois Sign U+20B7, Spesmilo Sign U+20B8, Tenge Sign U+20B9, Indian Rupee Sign U+20BA, Turkish Lira Sign U+20BB, Nordic Mark Sign U+20BC, Manat Sign U+20BE, Lari Sign The Bitcoin symbol is in the pipeline for Unicode 10.0, so it will be affected too. I see that this PT Serif font is no longer available from Paratype. It seems to have a replacement called PT Serif Expert (http://www.paratype.com/expert/), which does not have this bug. https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=103055 Bug ID: 103055 Summary: Crash at startup after macOS Sierra and update to 5.2.2 Product: LibreOffice Version: 5.2.2.2 release Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64) OS: Mac OS X (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Base Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: aluffi.l...@gmail.com Description: Starting LibreOffice (any version) on macOS Sierra crashes the app if the discrete graphic card is not engaged. When the discrete graphic card is on LibreOffice works flawlessly. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start LibreOffice 2. 3. Actual Results: If the discrete graphic card is on everything goes fine; If the graphic card is off LibreOffice crashes Expected Results: The libreoffice should not crash. It should also work without discrete graphic card as it did during the pre macOS Sierra years. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: Yes. I tested various libreoffice version. Additional Info: The problem arose after the upgrade from LibreOffice 5.2.0.4 to 5.2.2. Downgrading back to various releases didn't get any better. On Mac without discrete graphic card it doesn't occurs. Summarizing: Good on macbook Pro 13" mid 2010 (no discrete card); Bad on macbook Pro 15 mid 2010 (nvidia 330M card). But good if the card is already on. You have two options to solve this bug: 1. Write the Help content in plain text and the documentation team will convert it to XHP files. 2. You can directly edit the XHP files (XML format). See an example of adding help for a function here: https://cgit.freedesktop.org/libreoffice/help/commit/?id=8259390d2d978d37dc73e8e2cb0f1fcd0299afdf For that, you need: - to create a new file in text/scalc/01 (the Help Authoring extension is the best option how to do that), - to add this file to makefile, - to embed this file into the list of functions. I assume RAWSUBTRACT should go to the mathematical functions, i.e. to the file text/scalc/01/04060106.xhp CC to Olivier: if I forgot anything, please complete my instructions. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

Radio buttons are > usually used when at least one option must be checked. So there will always > be a default selection which you can change to something else. Yes i believe i've encountered times where i only had a single entry and it wasnt selected until i selected it. > But in this case, there might be no selection at all. Maybe a simple > dropdown listbox would be a better fit in this case? The simplest solution would be just to check if no selection is set and then select the first entry in the list. Also think that most users wont have more than 3 jre versions, so the widget definitely can be shrunk and maybe we can use the empty space to put other advanced option checkboxes. I really don't like Chinese chars to appear in file names. In some applications even Microsoft Office uses english names, for example in an excel file a new tab is named "Sheet1", "Sheet2"..., rather than "工作表1", "工作表2"... that's why I changed it to english. Sometimes non-english filenames causes trouble. Now since you guys don't like the english file name, I change it back to "未命名" then. This is not a big issue. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 92824] Limit the number of context menu spellcheck/ autocorrect suggestions
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=92824 --- Comment #14 from Yousuf Philips (jay)--- (In reply to V Stuart Foote from comment #13) > No, the problem with an artificial limit to the number of lookups is that > the source "dictionary" can not qualify the match--so there is good chance > the match needed will not show at the top of the list before filtering. The > list needs to be complete--and a "more" button or scroll provided to keep > the lists height constrained. Having an endlessly scrolling list to show ever possible lookup match would be bad UX in my view and against the easy access concept of the context menu. > The other problem seems to be that currently the Hunspell dictionary and > grammar checker is not filtering out the candidate matches. We get > selections from all installed dictionaries/word lists--but the result should > be limited. Yep that seems to be the major issue here of it not removing duplicates. > Seems it should by default return matches from the dictionary/thesaurus for > the selected language of the paragraph being entered, or maybe that of the > document. But not return matches from all installed dictionaries/word lists > as it seems to be doing now. Yes it should only bring results based on the selection else the paragraph, as we have the 'Set Language for Selection' and ''Set Language for Paragraph' entries in the context menu, and the red underline only shows up based on these two settings. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
