If I right click and choose format cells, it does defaulting to number type instead of text. But if I change to text format then all data is properly shown. It provides a symbol “cmap” subtable that does not have a mapping for space character. Since the font does not support the space character as far as we are concerned we use a fallback font for it, and it will most likely have a different width. I don’t know how other office applications are handling this, one possible explanation is that they are not doing any font fallback for fonts with symbol “cmap” subtable, which in turn will cause them to use the glyph for unsupported characters (glyph 0) which happens to be a white (empty) square in this font. This also why this font works in Scribus since it does not do any fallback for missing characters. I tried AbiWord but it gave me similar rendering as LibreOffice. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

This has been happening all day, even after restarting Windows 10. Am currently unable to open any files. So, I have about four files open for editing, a mix of .txt and .html files. When I go to open an additional .html file, all file windows disappear. When I restart LibreOffice, it shows that the files need recovery. Recovery completes successfully and quickly for all of them. Then, after hitting Finish, a file window starts to open for one of them, but it never fills in. LibreOffice crashes. If I try to restart LibreOffice, either nothing happens, or the same problem occurs. Restarting Windows doesn't help. One time, the recovery itself was interrupted, leading to lost data. I will experiment with deleting the recovery data, to see if I can at least prevent the crash and open the files. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
