[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 109294] table-edit-window: Modify order of the fields
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=109294 rob...@familiegrosskopf.de changed: What|Removed |Added Status|UNCONFIRMED |NEW CC||rob...@familiegrosskopf.de Version|3.4.2 release |Inherited From OOo Ever confirmed|0 |1 --- Comment #1 from rob...@familiegrosskopf.de --- (In reply to c.buhtz from comment #0) > In my informations there is currently now comfortable non-SQL way to > rearange the order of the fields presented in the table-edit-window. > > I would suggest a simple up- and down-button in the toolbar for that. You are right, there isn't. The GUI has been created for many different database-engines. The internal database-engine HSQLDB only allows to set the position of a new field by SQL, not to change the position of existing fields. Firebird would allow to position fields after adding them. So you could change the position at every time. Might be other database-engines won't allow to change the position at all. Have set this one to "NEW", because there isn't any possibility to change the sorting order. Have set the version to "Inherited from OOo", because it never worked in an other way. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 109293] add option "unique" to "Field Properties" gui
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=109293 rob...@familiegrosskopf.de changed: What|Removed |Added Status|UNCONFIRMED |NEW CC||rob...@familiegrosskopf.de Version|3.4.2 release |Inherited From OOo Ever confirmed|0 |1 --- Comment #1 from rob...@familiegrosskopf.de --- (In reply to c.buhtz from comment #0) > When a user want to make a field "unique" without declaring it as a primary > key it can be done with in the table-edit-window with the menu "Tools -> > Index Design...". > > IMO it would be more user friendly to offer this simple option in the main > table-edit-window. Isn't a simple option, because you could set a combination of more than one field to "unique". Also you could define the sorting-order separately. This won't work in table-edit-window. So you need two positions to set "unique". One (for only one field, without defining sorting-order) could be placed in table-edit-window directly. Another must be placed at "Tools > Index Design" for combination of fields, changing sorting-order etc. Have set this one to "NEW" because it isn't placed where you wish it. Have set the version to "Inherited from OOo", because it wasn't placed there at any time. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 52601] Excel Visual Basic compatibility issue in LibreOffice Calc: If Not ... Like … Then
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=52601 --- Comment #9 from himajin100...@gmail.com --- * Explanations are often easier to understand when we begin with easy lessons, even if the lessons are not directly focusing the problem I'm facing. * To begin with, let's take a look at the following code SbiExprNode* SbiExpression::Comp() https://opengrok.libreoffice.org/xref/core/basic/source/comp/exprtree.cxx?r=85d71244#727 * I see Cat() called in Comp(). This means string concatenation binary operator has stronger associativity the expression a & b < c is interpreted as ((a & b) < c) , but not as (a & (b < c)) * now let's move onto SbiExprNode* SbiExpression::Like() https://opengrok.libreoffice.org/xref/core/basic/source/comp/exprtree.cxx?r=85d71244#727 * when VBASupport is 0, https://opengrok.libreoffice.org/xref/core/basic/source/comp/exprtree.cxx?r=85d71244#754 "NOT" keyword is handled deeper callees inside Comp. * when VBASupport is 1 "NOT" keyword is handled in VBA_not and there Comp is called later. This two descriptions mean the following results from the same code. in VBASupport 1 NOT 3 < 5 => (NOT (3 < 5)) => (NOT (-1)) => 0 in VBASupport 0 ((NOT 3) < 5) (-4 < 5) -1 Likewise we can say -2^2 is (-2)^2 in VBASupport 0, VBASupport 1, and cell formulas in Calc and Excel. In MS Office VBA, the expression is -(2^2) *in both VBASuppport 0 and in VBASupport 1 as NOT has higher associativity than LIKE, the result of the following code is as follows NOT "xyz" LIKE "xyz" =>((NOT "xyz") LIKE "xyz") but not (NOT ("xyz" LIKE "xyz")) Here we try to evaluate (NOT "xyz") and give up. (runtime error, not compile error) *If the function used returns boolean or Integer, the code runs without giving runtime error. the result of NOT operation seems to be converted to string and passed to LIKE operator's first operand. Sub Main() Msgbox(NOT Foo("bar") LIKE "Meaningless sample text : - NOT 13 gives compile error when VBASupport is 1. I don't know the intention of If statement in SbiExpression::Unary()") End Sub Function Foo(meaninglessparameter as string) As Integer Foo = 1 End Function -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

You could update to current Crimson ReLive 17.7.1 driver 17.10.3211.1031 (Windows Driver Store Version 22.19.171.1024), but the 21.19.142.32768 is already a WDDM 2.1 driver. Make sure there's a text object in the current slide. 2. Unselect all objects. 3. Add a contextual toolbar, like View/Toolbars/Line and filling, and put it in its own row (i.e. not in the same row as an existing toolbar). 4. Click inside the text object to edit it. The Line and Filling toolbar disappears, since it is not valid for the text editing context. However, this causes the entire slide view to change zoom. This is very disorienting, as it changes *again* when you are finished editing the object. The slide view should stay at a fixed position and zoom factor. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 109280] conditional formatting not preserved with copy paste operations
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=109280 --- Comment #13 from tommy27--- (In reply to Xavier Van Wijmeersch from comment #11) > ... > > @Tommy > didn't notice that cc is for developers only > will not happen again no Xavier, the "CC List" filed is not a "developer only" field. you don't have to remove yourself from there. any user who wants to receive email notification with updates about this bug report may leave his name there (usually anytime you drop a comment in BugZilla you are automatically added to CC unless you change that default setting). the "developer only" field is the "Assignee" field... if you place your name there it means that you "take property" of the bug and you want to fix it. but if someone who is not a developer erroneously puts himself into "Assignee" other developers won't work to fix it since they could think that there's somebody else already working on it. so, basically this is how the bugzilla works... removing "jtl" from the "Assignee" field where he wrote his name as as mistake, was necessary to leave this bug open for true developers who may try to fix it. regarding me, I am not a developer but a QA volunteer that helps triaging bug reports and teach new user how to use the tracker. so I'm sorry to tell to "jtl" that no supervisor will "kick me out" as "representative of LibreOffice" since I've exactly done what it was supposed to be done. so, again learn how to use the bugtracker and don't be harsh with people that tries to teach you how to use things you clearly showed you don't know how they work. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

But I may be able to stay > in Fixed mode without harming the computer, right? > Philippe Staying in Fixed mode should not cause any issues. Simply use he Catalyst GUI (from desktop context menu) to manually select which GPU to use. Setting BIOS to Dynamic mode automates the switching. (In reply to Philippe_E from comment #104) >... > There is something strange: the driver versions of the Intel and Radeon are > different. For Intel it is always the old one that is present (8.882.2.3000) > whereas for Radeon it is the new one (9.2.0.0). > Does this explain why it crashes when entering Dynamic mode? Possibly, and you would be well served to force the Intel GPU onto a newer driver. The Catalyst 12-10 installation should have done that. You might try to reinstall. Or, just do a manual driver update via Device manager and search in the AMD Cayalyst folder (where it extracted to when first run). Alternatively, the Leshcat project [1] has "modded"--modified--64-bit drivers specifically for the hybrid mode AMD/Intel GPU combos. These folks poke hard at these exact issues with HP laptop systems. Looks like the 14.4 UnifL v2.4 [2] should have good fixed/dynamic support for you on 64-bit Windows 7 SP1. =-ref-= [1] http://leshcatlabs.net/forums/showthread.php?tid=1 http://leshcatlabs.net/forums/forumdisplay.php?fid=13 [2] http://drivers.softpedia.com/get/GRAPHICS-BOARD/Leshcat/Leshcat-AMD-UnifL-Catalyst-Graphics-Driver-144-v24-64-bit.shtml -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
