I restarted safe mode, still the same, I umistalled and installed 7.0.1 for worse; now it happens with any PDF file. However this behaviour is restricted to a single Windows Session. I can open same pdfs from other User sessions. Is there a way to clear everything in the affected sesión related to the fault? Or can I copy the "healthy" part from other sessions to the affected sesión? Regards Steps to Reproduce: 1. Either right click on a pdf file, choose "Open with", navigate to LO Draw or first open LO Draw, click "Open" and navigate to a pdf file. 2. 3. They are at "source-serif-pro-3.001R.zip\source-serif-pro-3.001R\VAR\*.otf" and they appear on the typeface selection menu as "Source Serif Variable", not as "Source Serif Pro". Create a new Writer document and format it with Source Serif Variable, then try to export it as PDF. The glyphs from Source Serif Variable, CFF2 fonts (.otf extension), are not exported to the PDF file. Printing with Microsoft Print to PDF virtual printer works fine, but then all bookmarks, tagging and nice things with "Export to PDF" such as Hybrid PDF don't work. There is a workaround: Remove the OpenType Variable CFF2 fonts (.otf extension) and install the OpenType Variable TrueType fonts (.ttf extension). However, TrueType fonts aren't as good for printing than the CFF2 (PostScript outlines / .otf extension), so the exported PDF isn't as good for printing or reading on very high DPI screens as those on eBook readers and mobile phones (unless printed with Microsoft Print to PDF virtual printer, and then they lose all the nice options the PDF export can do with the PDF). Please enhance PDF export to also work with OpenType Variable CFF2 (PostScript outlines / .otf extension). OpenType with TrueType outlines (quadratic bezier curves) may be good for low DPI screens, but OpenType with PostScript outlines (cubic bezier curves) are better for printing and very high DPI screens found on mobile phones and specialized eBook readers. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 126638] macOS: Can't paste in Save-As field on Catalina
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=126638 --- Comment #25 from Graeme Costin --- Almost every LibreOffice file I create has a file name determined from our document database. It is a right royal PAIN to not be able to paste the file name into the Save As dialog! This bug does not appear to be related to any particular version of MacOS. It appeared before the Catalina version of MacOS. This bug showed up several LibreOffice versions ago - actually it showed up when I changed from a downloaded LibreOffice on Mac to using the AppStore LibreOffice Vanilla. Before LibreOffice Vanilla this bug was not there - I could paste filenames into the Save As dialog. I was hoping that by downloading the latest LibreOffice 7 I would no longer have this bug, but I am disappointed. Please, Please, Please FIX THIS! I am almost ready to give up on LibreOffice! [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 99613] optional Paramaters for IF is optional
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=99613 --- Comment #8 from Travis Stewart --- I am not sure if I understand the original bug correctly, but I think there is an actual issue with the documentation or the IF function. The Logical Functions help page (https://help.libreoffice.org/7.0/en-US/text/scalc/01/04060105.html?=WRITER=UNIX) talks about optional parameters using a hypothetical 4 parameter function. "In the LibreOffice Calc functions, parameters marked as "optional" can be left out only when no parameter follows. For example, in a function with four parameters, where the last two parameters are marked as "optional", you can leave out parameter 4 or parameters 3 and 4, but you cannot leave out parameter 3 alone." By applying this example to the IF function, where parameters 2 and 3 are optional, you can use it with all 3 parameters included or with parameters 1 and 2 only, but you can't use it with parameters 1 and 3 with 2 left out. This is the expected behaviour: =IF(A1>5,100,"too small") is valid. If A1 <= 5 it returns "too small" otherwise it returns 100. =IF(A1>5,100) is also valid. It returns 100 if A1 > 5 is TRUE, and FALSE otherwise. Parameter 3 is left out, but that's okay because no parameter follows it. =IF(A1>5, , "too small") is invalid because you can only leave out optional parameters if no parameters follow. But in this case, the optional parameter 2 is left out and followed by a parameter. You'd expect an error, it shouldn't work based on the statement in the documentation. But you can leave out parameter 2 and it still does something, even though the documentation says it can't be left out. =IF(A1>5, , "too small"), A1 > 5 it returns 0, if it is <= 5, it returns "too small" If the documentation is correct, it should not interpret an empty parameter as a 0 and use that as the ThenValue. If the documentation is wrong, then how it handles empty parameters needs to be discussed in the documentation. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

With redlining enabled, this leaves the cursor as it was before, so if the point was at the start it still is at the start, so the following Insert will insert at the start of the selection. But then AutoCorrect wants to do things and it uses TextFrameIndex and ViewToModelPos and gets a result at the end of the delete redline, while the cursor remains at the start of the delete redline. Avoid this by swapping the selection after DeleteAndJoin() (and also DeleteRange() for consistency) so that insertion happens at end of redline (swap "above" DoWithBreaks because it creates temporary PaMs). How end-users can do that ? It seems to me that you answered at developer level, not for the end-user. This is because Interpret() actually sometimes returns without computing a value for the cell, e.g. when it backs out because of a need to do iteration. This is handled when Interpret() is called from InterpretTail(), but ScDependantsCalculator does not handle this and considers all cells interpreted, unless it detected a problem. We've already fixed a number of such bugs, and given that there are still problematic corner cases after all this time, add code simply detecting this generic problem and avoiding threading in that case, with a SAL_WARN. This does not fix the problem itself, but at least now it's handled. https://cgit.freedesktop.org/libreoffice/core/commit/?id=4f36f2ccab6286ec09480caea602c0fa19195736 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

Because most presentations are structured using list outlines, this could significantly improve user experience. 2) Character Styles: would enable the definition of character-based styles, which could be applied when the user inputs some text in a sentence such as an equation or programming code. With this feature the user will be able to alternate between styles inside the same sentence in a more productive manner. Both of these types are available in Writer, but not in Impress. Currently Impress only supports Drawing and Presentation styles. I am a very frequent user of Writer/Impress and I can tell that in Writer these types of styles help a lot.
