[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 93320] Saving bulleted lists as HTML produces empty list items and interspersed paragraphs
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=93320 --- Comment #7 from QA Administrators --- Dear Matthew Darlison, To make sure we're focusing on the bugs that affect our users today, LibreOffice QA is asking bug reporters and confirmers to retest open, confirmed bugs which have not been touched for over a year. There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this bug report. During that time, it's possible that the bug has been fixed, or the details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in getting confirmation that the bug is still present. If you have time, please do the following: Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/ If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. Please DO NOT Update the version field Reply via email (please reply directly on the bug tracker) Set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED - FIXED (this status has a particular meaning that is not appropriate in this case) If you want to do more to help you can test to see if your issue is a REGRESSION. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 141522] New: Image Anchor options forced to (wrong) default in my existing .docx file,
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=141522 Bug ID: 141522 Summary: Image Anchor options forced to (wrong) default in my existing .docx file, Product: LibreOffice Version: 7.0.5.2 release Hardware: All OS: Windows (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Writer Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: amigof...@gmail.com Description: Recent rewrite of Libre "Writer" code for how images are wrapped inside bordering text in a document - has arbitrarily set the Anchor default to "as character." That deactivated all my prior-chosen wrap options pertaining to an existing image in a formerly nicely formatted document. My recent update of Libre Office brought me up to version 7.0.5.2 x64. I had to hunt around image Properties and found the anchor option had been changed (defaulted?) to "as character" instead of my own setting, "to page" or "to paragraph". I changed anchor back to "to page" and all the Wrap options became enabled again. Then I had to fuddle with setting wrap to my correct prior settings. I have a lot of existing files containing images that should be anchored to "Page" which'll have to be fixed if I dare to edit them. Or could you fix Writer to not mess with Anchor values already set. Many thanks. Steps to Reproduce: 1.Edit an existing .docx file with Libre Office Writer 2.Select and move around an image (that was anchored to Page) amongst some text. 3.Now check its properties to see if the Anchor option says "as character" Actual Results: An image that was previously anchored to "Page" is now anchored "as Character" Expected Results: Should have said Anchored "To Page" Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: Version: 7.0.5.2 (x64) Build ID: 64390860c6cd0aca4beafafcfd84613dd9dfb63a CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19042; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win Locale: en-US (en_US); UI: en-US Calc: CL -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 141211] Bold (or Italic) icon (in Formatting toolbar) should not be active when "Strong Emphasis" (or Emphasis) character style is applied
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=141211 --- Comment #5 from Mike Kaganski --- The button state does not reflect *direct formatting*, it only reflects respective *formatting* (regardless of the way it was applied). And that is absolutely correct. And everything else aside, remember that all DF tools are targeted at users who do not care (maybe do not know, have not mastered, do not understand, etc.) about styles. And the DF tools must make lives of those users simple: it *is* expected by the users that whenever a text font is bold, the Bold button is "active", and allows user to toggle the effect (applying a DF "no bold" atop of any number of levels of complex formatting below, as if you use paint that masks anything below it). It would be not obvious, not consistent, etc. if they see non-pressed Bold, which on press actually makes selection *not* bold; or absolutely wrong to disallow DF users to make bold-*styled* text non-bold. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 141298] Track Changes toolbar opens automatically
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=141298 --- Comment #10 from morfuinv...@gmail.com --- (In reply to Heiko Tietze from comment #9) > If we need the toolbar, how about to remember the previous state...? I agree, that's the main point - if you need the bar, you turn it on manually, if you don't want to see the bar - you turn it off and it doesn't appear until you manually turn it on again. This is how I see it and this is how it worked before with TC bar. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=37601 Heiko Tietze changed: What|Removed |Added Status|NEW |RESOLVED Resolution|--- |WORKSFORME --- Comment #7 from Heiko Tietze --- In Writer, zoom takes the current view. Meaning you are on p1 and see the top left edge it will remain visible, if your top left edge is in the middle of the page this will stay. All independent from the cursor position. Draw/Impress use coordinates rather than lines and zoom keeps the cursor position stable. This makes perfect sense to me, not sure how it was 10 years ago. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
