See new attachment, which now works "as expected". (What I did: Moved the anchor for the red textbox and the "inner" frame to the paragraph at the beginning of the header). No opinion about "expected behavior" here -- but as a speculation: the "reason" why you could select the inner frame and textbox in your version after you selected the outer frame must be connected to fact that the "anchors" for the inner frame and textbox become available. But when the frame (in your version) is not selected then they are invisible to selection. In my version, where the anchors are all moved to a paragraph in the header, then they are all "visible", no matter where the cursor or selection is located. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

Selections that move “backwards” from the LTR text and end in the RTL text (i.e., start index > end index). That is, selections that move forwards (have a starting character index that is lower than the ending character index) do not trigger the bug and selections that move backwards but encompass the entire RTL range do not trigger the bug. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 62289] Adding hyperlinks via the GUI to other sheets with only a number for the name in the same workbook take you to the ROW number in the current sheet, instead of to the tar
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=62289 --- Comment #30 from Eike Rathke --- Again took a look at this. There's no real fix for it without quite a rewrite. The link target picker doesn't know anything about a spreadsheet or whether a name is a sheet name or anything else, the link targets like sheet names, named ranges, et al are obtained through css::document::XLinkTargetSupplier as css::container::XNameAccess interfaces that are also part of the API and used in other context, it can't return anything else than just the sheet name. So, if you happen to have a sheet named like a column name or row number or cell reference or named/database range then append .A1 or any other cell reference to use it as a jump target. The other way we could solve *this* would be to take priority on existing sheets, i.e. if a sheet name exists for the link target then use that instead of any cell reference, column or row number or named/database range. Which can be equally wrong as it would make jumping to such target impossible that can not be workarounded. YMMV. Given that appending a cell reference works it is the better approach. Maybe on the long term someone wants to implement another XNameAccess interface holding objects that deliver sheet names appended with a .A1 cell reference just for this XLinkTargetSupplier case. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=71828 Jean-Baptiste Faure changed: What|Removed |Added CC||jbfa...@libreoffice.org --- Comment #12 from Jean-Baptiste Faure --- I do not know how the export with the old version has been done, but it has not be done the same way the export with the current version. Indeed the size of the EPS image (width x height) does not fit the size of the odg page. That said exporting the odg document as EPS file gives a distorted image. That can be seen on the circles that are ellipsis in the EPS. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 147098] Should "Region" field be missing in Options -> Libreoffice -> User Data? (or is label wrong?)
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=147098 --- Comment #9 from sdc.bla...@youmail.dk --- (In reply to joao.victor.bonfim from comment #8) > I think it is a case of both, since the "State" field is nowhere to be found > and the label isn't helping either. (seems to) depend on the language of the user interface. Try Tools - Options - Language Settings - Languages - User Interface and choose English (USA). Then you should see State. (I can confirm that with Danish user interface, "State" does not appear but "Country/Region" does appear). And changing locale setting does not seem to have an effect, regardless of language of user interface. One final problem. Ctrl+F2 (to open Insert - Field) - Document tab - Sender. For the Danish interface "Delstat" is shown (which corresponds to "State"), but there is no field in the Options to specify a value for Delstat (State). I think Joao will have the same problem with a Portuguese interface. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

Opening an existing Base database is OK. Same for Writer and Draw. Those things also work when opening by file association. I tried to open another existing spreadsheet and got an error with the option to open in Safe Mode. I chose that but nothing happened. Using System Monitor I could see no obvious LO-related processes running. I restarted LO again and tried to create a new Calc sheet. Nothing! Then I restarted LO again and opened another existing Writer file in normal mode.. I closed that. In summary, I could open existing files and create new ones in all programs except Calc. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

But > dropping "region" is probably not a great idea. Maybe we can just change the > label to something else like "Country and region"? Maybe use "Territory" or "Nation or Region" instead, since "country and region" implies that both must be present simultaneously and that might induce to usage that would generate a bad design? Since, under that context, "USA, North America" would be the only "correct" usage. > The variable is internally called just *country (cui/source/optgenrl.cxx). > Same at Insert > Fields > More Fields: Document = Sender : Country. I guess we > can just ignore "Region" (or remove as the slash is used to label the multi > fields in this dialog) since "State" above can be used for what I have in mind > in case of region, eg. Texas. Using "North America" would be pointless. Having different assigned namespaces for the same contextual name/identifier (i.e.: not having all the labels that reference country use the same value/point to the same source for the value) and have to depend on edits for consistency on labels and such seems quite inefficient, merely an opinion. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

The sample doc contains two lines of text and then a table with 2 rows and 2 columns. 1) open attachment 178019 2) press "Down" key -> cursor moves to the second line of text, it is announced -> OK 3) press "Down" again -> cursor moves into the first cell of the table, but nothing is announced -> NOK 4) press "Down" key again -> cursor moves into row 2 of the table, nothing is announced -> NOK 5) press Up key -> cursor moves to first row of the table again, and now NVDA does announce the table + cell -> OK >From then on, NVDA announces the new cursor position even if moving out of the table and back in. (At least usually, in some cases that was not working 100 % reliable as well, while the above is reproducible at least most of the time for me.)
