FOX Nation is an exclusive channel extension of the Fox News Network that
broadcasts 24 hours a day,Foxnews.com breaking news 7 days a week. It is one of
the few televisions channels to offer live programming and major sporting
events without interruption. FOX Nation can be streamed for $4.99 per month
directly from the DirectTV app or website; this includes access to watch
whatever program or sporting event you want without any commercial breaks and
to stream all content in high definition (HD).In order to answer your question,
one would have to fully understand what FOX Nation is.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 98823] FILEOPEN: 3-pages .docx with table shown incorrect, hangs

2022-03-02 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=98823

This is certainly a bug, but in case this started to be more visible with the
gridAfter commit, then it was always there, just docx files didn't generate
those "after" cells, so it was harder to run into this problem. You could
probably craft an ODT file which had the same problem even before the gridAfter
DOCX commit.

So this is definitely a problem, it is worth to fix, but I would not consider
it a regression. Hope this helps. Thanks!

Created attachment 178627

Word 2016 "Convert Text to Table" dialog

(In reply to nutrientman from comment #0)
> Steps to Reproduce:

The original steps are not precise. The proposal is to improve the existing
Table->Convert->Text to Table function.

So here are the steps:

1. Paste the text from #1 of comment 0.
2. Select the pasted text, and open menu Table->Convert->Text to Table.
3. Try to use 'Separate Text At'->'Paragraph', or any other setting, to define
that the text should be split to *some number of columns* using paragraphs.

In fact, the 'Paragraph' setting makes no difference compared to any other
option in the dialog; and the dialog does not provide a way to control
resulting number of columns to override automatic conversion.

For comparison, the attachment shows how Word's respective function looks like;
and you can directly control the number of resulting columns there.

Dear Arham Amouei,

To make sure we're focusing on the bugs that affect our users today,
LibreOffice QA is asking bug reporters and confirmers to retest open, confirmed
bugs which have not been touched for over a year.

There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this
bug report. During that time, it's possible that the bug has been fixed, or the
details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in
getting confirmation that the bug is still present.

If you have time, please do the following:

Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice
from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/

If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information
from Help - About LibreOffice.

If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to
RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a comment that includes the information from Help
- About LibreOffice.

Please DO NOT

Update the version field
Reply via email (please reply directly on the bug tracker)
Set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED - FIXED (this status has a particular
meaning that is not
appropriate in this case)

If you want to do more to help you can test to see if your issue is a
REGRESSION. To do so:
1. Download and install oldest version of LibreOffice (usually 3.3 unless your
bug pertains to a feature added after 3.3) from
https://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/

2. Test your bug
3. Leave a comment with your results.
4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to 'inherited from OOo';
4b. If the bug was not present in 3.3 - add 'regression' to keyword

Feel free to come ask questions or to say hello in our QA chat:
https://web.libera.chat/?settings=#libreoffice-qa

Thank you for helping us make LibreOffice even better for everyone!

I could not reproduce with:

Version: 7.0.6.2
Build ID: 00(Build:2)
CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 5.4; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3
Locale: en-AU (en_AU.UTF-8); UI: en-US
Ubuntu package version: 1:7.0.6-0ubuntu0.18.04.1_lo1
Calc: threaded

But I could reproduce with:

Version: 7.3.0.2 / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: f1c9017ac60ecca268da7b1cf147b10e244b9b21
CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 5.4; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3
Locale: en-AU (en_AU.UTF-8); UI: en-US
Calc: threaded

All I had to do was:
1. Open Writer 7.3
2. Toggle the ordered list: the lower bar's items between "Edit" and "Menu"
disappear.

Resizing the window brings the lower bar back.

Could you please also share the detailed version information from Help > About

Hi Xisco

The second commit fixed the display of the PDF, that can be tested by this
smaller reproducer.
The issue fixed by the first commit is also exhibited by this in slideshow
mode, but only there.

I made this by following the instructions in the original example doc: insert
my favourite tiny test jpg, copy+paste as GDI, then delete the jpg, crop the
GDI, make another copy of it and flip the copy vertically, group with the
original, then copy - paste the group and flip the copy horizontally.

I find that this wording expresses an other software variant than my
expectation.

I propose to increase the distinction between the construction of a formula and
the corresponding computed value display.

* I imagine that a formula can be edited by some means (besides the widget
which is supported at the moment).

* Would a setting be helpful for switching between source modification and
another (visual) representation (similar to the existing configuration option
for fields)?

was specified, or it was specified as zero date (e.g. in

DateTime attribute w:date is optional in w:ins/w:del
according to the OOXML standard. Not specified w:date was
imported as invalid zero date "0-00-00T00:00:00Z" resulting
loss of change tracking data completely during an ODF

Import this invalid zero date as Epoch time to avoid losing

This problem still appears with 7.2.5.2.0 version in Impress, Writer and Draw.

The issue is that the selected image format isn't by default the image format
of the source image which has to be compressed.

If I open the image compression form, it should automatically change the
selected output image format :
- if the former image type is png, then select png by default for the
compressed image,
- if the former image type is jpeg, then select jpeg by default for the
compressed image.

Next the user can change the image ouput image format before clicking on the
"ok" button.

Description:
for opentype fonts (example: Profile Pro):
If font weights "Regular" and "Medium" are both installed:
font weight "Medium" cannot be selected in the menu
If only one of these font weights is installed:
the installed font weight "Regular" or "Medium" can be selected in the menu

Steps to Reproduce:
1. install an opentype font with font weights "Regular" and "Medium" in Linux
2. select the installed opentype font
3. write a text sample in Libreoffice writer
4. try to select font weight "Medium"

Actual Results:
1. opentype font "Profile Pro" is installed on a Linux xfce system

If I save a PDF / UA, and the image has no alt text and / or has a blank space
(because LibreOffice doesn't even let you indicate if an image is decorative),
it turns the PDF into an image PDF, untagged, for me. without anything,
removing all the texts.
OpenOffice, on the other hand, does not have this problem even if it does not
allow you to manage "decorative" images.

This is not precise enough. You need to write exact web page and what to copy.
But there are many reports which stem from the wrong understanding of paste.
Pasting from HTML is already formatted, so real solution is to paste
unformatted.

Same again today - almost identical to #11 except I didn't insert the row I
simply appended it to the end and then re-sorted.
Crash report/recovery screen again failed to unload and LO was still running in
the background with zero CPU. Killed it with Task Manager
Again it produced multiple overlapping entries in the conditional format
register which were manually amended to exclude the Singleton SAY E62 and the
multi-range E3:E61;E63
The E: CF has two conditions ""=Default & https://crashreport.libreoffice.org/stats/crash_details/75a26eb7-a196-4e84-9015-f8d4d0468387

Please advise whether I should ignore (NOT send) future crash reports on the
same topic.
I'm uncertain whether constantly filing the "same" report increases the urgency
or simply pisses somebody off.路‍♂️

At the bottom of the french help for SOMME.SI.ENS(), the example function
(here-below) is incomplete :

  =SOMME.SI.ENS(C2:C6;A2:A6;".*";B2:B6;"<"(B2:B6))

It is missing the «E2&» string before the third argument, like in the SUMIFS()

I'll take this because I've some work done looking into it. Fundamentally the
font used for the bullet doesn't appear to have the selected symbol in it and
this is a glyph fallback case so it might not be a mainstream problem.

What font is used for the glyph fallback may differ from system to system
depending on what's available for use so we might be seeing different results.

Anyway, the commits I'll push bring it from from 8 seconds to 3 seconds to
convert this on the command line for my setup.

Can't test as SQLite2/3 on macOS has been inaccessible to LO, either by ODBC or
directly/JDBC, for many years now.

At a guess, ("") is being interpreted as NULL, thus any combination of one
field with NULL is also intepreted as NULL ?

Add sanity check to avoid potential crash in the Collabora Online server

Make sure some coordinates don't become huge negative numbers. This
doesn't fix the unknown root cause of course.

There already was such a sanity check here in this branch, but for
Android only. I now made it cross-platform.

Let's use the same Change-Id as in the corresponding commit in the
co-2021 branch.

Potentially, one way to fix this (without looking at any underlying issue)
might be to make this conditional on 'comphelper::LibreOfficeKit::isActive()'
instead so it applies for COOL as well, but not the desktop version, but maybe
Tor or Mert can say more...

creation-date affects display of first author field

When no creation-date is specified in meta.xml, the DocInformation:Created
(initial-creator) field is displayed as empty, even though it contains
information. Case in point -- both attached files contain the following in
content.xml:

John
Doe

They are identical in every other respect too, except that
with-date-in-meta.odt contains this additional line in meta.xml:

2022-03-01T00:00:00

When opened in LibreOffice Writer, only with-date-in-meta.odt shows "John Doe"
inside the DocInformation:Created field. In no-date-in-meta.odt, the field is
displayed as empty.

For comparison, MS Office displays "John Doe" in both cases.

Checking my local FreeSerif, if the cache is enabled again for this case then
this example will render missing glyphs if the range is made italic in
additional to the current bold.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 147283] [FILEOPEN PPTX] list with custom style is 10 times slower on 1st run

I think we can ignore comment #17 as twaddle. Looking at it a little more, the
glyph fallback is from "Noto Sans Symbols" for codepoint 0x25aa. That font
doesn't have this bullet, fontconfig suggests that we could replace it with
"Noto Color Emoji" *but* additionally suggests we apply an extra matrix to skew
it.

Back in bug #32665 we disabled the cache for "emboldened" and this sort of
"fake italic" glyph fallback suggestions.
