I strongly suspect that this is not a bug. What I see in the attached PDF looks
perfectly normal, if the spreadsheet doesn't have its print area setup to fit
to a single page wide.

Color bare in Pages sidebar

As it fit's way better the orientation of the color bar I would suggest to use
as default place the Pages "Sidebar" than the colors are also where the drawing
elements are located. 

And of corse you can turn this toolbar on by default.

So this crashes, when it's rewinding the stack when coming back from processing
close in the onLoad call.
In comparison to the crash it looks like something has to acquire a reference
on the interface, probably the notifier.

each time I start the program a notification screen pops ordering me to send a
crash report - does not matter if I do or do not send; every new session it
comes again - I have uninstralled the program with Revo, en did a fresh
installation, to no effect, after re-installation it was still there, so I
suppose it hides somewhere in teh register, which is annoying in itself

reinstalled the program

to fix the problem

Description:
when adding glue point to a shape in LO draw, the glue points are not
displayed. When connectors are subsequently used to connect to the glue points
created earlier, they do show up. This bug was not present in version 5.3.x.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. draw a shape
2. click on 'show glue points functions'
3. insert a glue point
4. any clicks on the shape now insert glue points but they're not shown

Actual Results:  
Glue points not shown. They do exist though.

Expected Results:
Glue points should be shown as they are inserted


Reproducible: Always


User Profile Reset: No

Thanks for your quick response.

Please find below the steps to reproduce the reported issue:

1) I downloaded LibreOffice_5.4.4_Win_x64.msi and installed it in my machine.
2) Opened the Sample Document.xls with LibreOffice.
3) Goto File tab and select the option Export As PDF.
4) Exported the file as Sample Document.pdf (attaching for your reference).

The xls content gets distorted, you can refer the attached PDF.

NOTE: The above steps did not involve any third party software.


Please suggest us the solution for this.

A file saved at step 8 in my description.

1. Open a blank spreadsheet.
2. Put at least 100 random dates in separate cells of column A, using
format -MM-DD. I was unable to reproduce the problem with less random
dates; it seems to only occur when there’s at least 100 cells with dates.
3. Select column A and format cells as a Date, using format -MM-DD.
4. Select column B, which is currently blank, and format cells as Date,
using format MMM D, .
5. Make cell B1 equal to A1 using formula: =A1
6. A1 will now look like, for example, 2015-10-15; B1 will look like
October 15, 2015. (You might need to widen column B)
7. Grab the lower right handle of cell B1, and drag it down to copy its
formula so that all the cells in column B match the cells in column A.
8. Save the file as xlsx, then close and re-open it. The test file I’ve
attached is saved at this point.
9. Go to the last cell in column B that has data. Drag its handle down one
cell to copy its formula.
10. The problem will now present itself: all the cells in B are now
duplicates of the last cell in that column (the one you just dragged on.)
11. Further, if you look at the cell formatting in any cell of column B,
you’ll see that it’s now changed to be MMM D", " (it’s added those quote
marks)
12. Also, if you copy/paste the last cell in column B rather than
drag-copy, the same problem occurs.
13. Regression test: It does NOT occur in version 5.4.4002

Color Bar default style

The color bar is great but it doesn't fit in the default section on bottom,
cause it's designed for 1:1 not for 20:1.

The real bug is that the arangement isn't the same than in the dialog or the
sidebar as you can see at the attachment. And please move the none color
somewhere in a new line or wherever cause otherwise you "destroy" the
arrangement of the color plate.

I think, the more  sensible way is to create a new bug, because we have
different problems: 
The first is, that the user profile was corrupted in unknown way. More security
for the user profile should be neccesary, because it was not the only
circumstance...
The second is more distinguished: The program is simulating the fax would be
sent.
The user assumes that the fax receiver has gotten the correct document. This
may lead to a juristic trouble for him in extremly case. Recognised: the user
has not defined the fax printer, but the program has to ensure the error
handling.

Kind of, except I'm just closing the document not LO itself, but the result
might be the same.

It also crashes, if you have an other open changed dummy document and open the
attached document additionally.

HTML representation?

Me I have tried in 2 ways (after loading the ODS file):
  1) File -> Export -> XHTML : the browser's console exhibits some errors, but

Description:
Since version 6.0.0.1 x64 (Portuguese) I started to notice that cell borders
inserted in Calc spreadsheets are incorrectly displayed, and sometimes are
incorrectly printed too.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open an existing or create a new Calc spreadsheet.
2. On existing documents, just observe the cell borders and see that they show
gaps; on a new document do "cell" -> "add borders", add borders to a group off
cells and observe that they display with gaps.
3.

As described above

As described above

The shown gaps are not real! The borders are not displayed!

This printscreen shows gaps (marked in red) that correspond to an incorrect
border display.

Cache text layout of statusbar items
Extend lifecycle of SalLayout created by the output device.
A layout is stored for each status bar item and used as a cache.
The layout may be updated through output device method parameters.

This way it's no longer necessary to calculate the layout again and again when
painting the status bar item multiple times, provided that its text does not
change.

I'll also try to update any translation of these words that refer to this
function so they are always translated into ovan/nedan.

BTW, this seems to be a really old bug. It has been present in all of
LibreOffice time and OpenOffice had it this way at least since 2002 when the
file was moved to the current location.

Yes, it happens exactly the same after reseting the user profile.

I also noted that sometimes Writer "remembers" that there is a dictionary
installed just after I start typing in language other than the default (US
English)

In some other ocassions, Writer doesnt seem to show the installed dictionary as
option (neither in Tools->Language in the menu or in the "state bar" at the
bottom of the document). The dictionary appear as installed in the Extension
Manager at all times.

Now i could test it with additional 2 Versions on a separate installation.
I did have the same result/effect with versions 4.4.3.2 and 5.4.4.2

So this is not a new problem and it is not dependent on this special
installation of Debian Jessie.

BTW: running the code from the StarBasic editor won't crash, as the editor
window will veto the close of its parent window. Instead one gets a

No. You reported this against the GTK3 backend as we see from the original
screenshots.
Stephen Paschall did not mention the backend used, so it would be nice to hear.
Stephen: please copy and paste here the contents of your Help - About.

Robo 3T is our only data point related to Qt, but even then it might be "Qt
application behaviour under GNOME Shell".

This may be related to a lot of other bugs, but I'm not sure.

There is a frame in the test file. Within the frame, there is a table with only
one cell. Within this, there is a small image.

(The table is put into a frame, so you can move it around in LO Writer)

Steps to Reproduce:
1. open the test file in Writer

Actual Results:  
The image is outside the frame

Expected Results:
The image should be in the frame (see attached PDF)


Reproducible: Always

File which crashes upon startup

Nothing special about this file, just an example. The problem occurs
intermittently whenever Mac Accessbility is enabled for applicaitons. It often
occurs when saving a file, but can happen anytime. 

It is an .odm file, let me know if you want the full folder of which this is a
part.

Notebookbar scaling issues

I've got issues with notebookbar scaling and placement with some variants at
version 5.4.4.2. 

Screen resolution is 1280x800, happened in every other linux machine i have
installed that Groupedbar Full and Groupedbar Compact didn't scale correctly. I
think that the problem may be matter of design. When the main window width is
resized, elements dissapear, but resizing it to a bigger scale than that of my
screen resolution "fixes" the problem. Similar situation for the tabbed one, it
will move some tabs over the rest when there's is obviusly more than enough
space.

I've got some screens.

Screenshot of "Properties: Pattern Field" dialog

Please see attached snapshot for how the properties for a Pattern Field are
currently organized in the dialog.  As it is now the "Literal mask" property is
positioned below the "Edit mask" property.


Suggestion: Reorder properties for a Formatted Field and put "Literal mask"
before "Edit mask", i.e. reverse them.


Reason: You will probably always want to write the literal first.  For example,
for a standard phone number you would write:

(___) ___-  <- this is probably the first thing you would write.
LNNNLLNNNL  <- then you would use that to write this.


It would be less obvious to first write: LNNNLLNNNL, until you had the
(___) ___- in mind.

properties.  These names do not accurately reflect what these properties are,
i.e. it appears there are two masks operations, Edit and Literal, but in fact

I see the problem in version 5.4 but no longer in version 6.1.
Can you please test a current developer build? Such can be installed in
parallel to a regular build.

I do not know whether there has been a patch or whether it is accidentally
fixed, so I cannot say, whether it will be included in a bug fix release of the
5.4 series.

The point is to design how we'd want it to look and have devs fix bugs that
show up due to the design and not just limit ourselves to what currently works
today. This has been the process of the evolution of the NB, like when the
glade-based custom group buttons didnt work until a dev fixed it (bug 105672).

The simple solution presently for this new document buttons, is to just disable
them until a dev is ready to fix the issue, but that could be said about any of
the other features that dont work today until a dev fixes it.

Description:
For a long time, Libre Office has been incompatible with the Mac
"Accessibility" feature. A growing list of software uses this feature,
and many bugs have been and will be reported that have this as a root
cause. At the least, users should be warned.

In the System Preferences Control Panel,  choose Security, Privacy,
Accessibility, then "Allow these apps to control your computer".

If any of them is on, Libre Office will crash unpredictably, even when
sitting doing nothing (or also typically, when trying to save a file
or quit). This continues to happen in 6.0.0.0 RC2. Enclosed a file
which crashes a minute or so after startup (this is an .odm; I can
send the entire folder if you wish).  If I turn off Accessibility for
all such applications, I can at least start LO with that file and do
some editing; I am only beginning testing this version.

Right now, I need Accessibility for the following applications:

Default Folder
Dropbox
Dragon
IshowU Instant
Quickeys and Quickeys User Event Helper

Also in this category are screen readers, and some system utilities or
programming environments.

What are the prospects for fixing this? It may reach the point that I
might have to abandon LO, and I would rather continue using it.

Please make it easy to reorder table columns (and rows).

This can flow into a number of features:

1. add menu items like "Move left", "Move right" (and for rows).

2. make it possible to reorder columns (and rows) with mouse D after a column
is selected.
