I've had one Snap Send Solve report go through the system so far. Apart
from the automated response I never heard back from them, but it was
fixed within a week or so. Scuttlebutt said the council was completely
overwhelmed with reports when the app went live.

That's consistent with my experience of using the web portal: immediate
automated reply, and then the job simply gets done within a week or two.
Things I have reported usually were the deeper more hazardous kind of
potholes, and sometimes broken glass bottles on bike lanes.

I guess there is just no solution to tradies parking all over the street
and I should shut up and be thankful for the rebuild they are doing!

Glad to know it's working though. I should try reporting something fixable!

Did it get solved/fixed? They may prefer to fix something instead of
sorting out a back channel for communication. There are positives and
negatives to that approach.

Snap Send Solve - I have made 3 or 4 reports to the CCC and got back
nothing but automated "thanks for the report, we'll do something about it
and get back to you." responses.
