Re: LyX 1.6.7 Packages for Ubuntu
I'll look into it and see if I can get them included for current users of Ubuntu. Based on what I've read, I'm not sure it's very likely, though :( But it never hurts to ask. Other users can upgrade using the PPA I set up this morning and the instructions in the original email. Once a user adds it to their software sources, the updates will be automatic and will come through the regular system updates. We can also use the same process to push other source releases to Ubuntu users outside of the traditional sixth month Ubuntu update cycle. Can you please tell me how to compile LyX to achieve this? I'm still stuck with your new compilation option and don't know where to specify it. I've created up-to-date binaries of all the dependencies for MSVC 2010 Do they also work when using MSVC 2008? The Ghostscript package is incomplete since the lib folder of the Ghostscript installation is missing. Without these files we cannot provide a full featured Ghostscript. thanks and regards Uwe

I plan to release 1.6.7 on Monday. I'm getting compile error C2668: 'lyx::copy_if' : ambiguous call to overloaded function. I guess this is because my compiler also has std::copy_if. With trunk I have no such issues. Joost

There are the tr1 symbols in the std namespace, so we will get conflicts with boost. I've checked in a patch which should disable tr1, but could not test it. Does it work?
