Re: appendices
Start the appendix (insert-start appendix here) in the master file just before you include the appendix child documents (which should be ordinary chapters, sections etc.). Jürgen. hmmm... that did not work. I have 1.2.1 you also can insert in ERT a \appendix where it should start. But what doc class do you have and do you insert the docs after the appendix start with the include command? Okay, that was my problem. It works now. thanks. Herbert -- myriam IM: tokujawa

no keyboard action in Find and Replace
Hi! In (RH8 + lyx 1.2.1 + Hungarian keyboard) I have the following problem: I start lyx with env LANG=C as it is suggested. But still, while all Hungarian characters (I mean \H u and \H o) work well in the main text window, I cannot type them into the Find and Replace window. It is possible to put them there by Copy-Paste, and then the Find/Replace program works normally. But when I am entering them from the keyboard, there is no action at all. No similar problem in (United Linux + lyx 1.2.1 + Hungarian keyboard)! nesting question
Hi... is it possible to nest so that there are two environments on the same line? For example, say I have a description of "Desc" and then in the description, I want to start an itemize so that the first item "Item1" would be on the same line as "Desc" .. so the output would look like DescItem1 Item2 and not Desc Item1 Item2 How is this done? Thanks, nirmal

copy/paste between two lyx.
Hi, I opened two lyx, one locally and one from the server. I then tried to copy some paragraphs from one lyx application to another. The result was disappointing. Is this something that can be improved? I 'solved' this problem by copying the file locally, open with the same lyx and then copy/paste. -- Bo Peng

Re: header title problem
Holger Zebner schrieb: Defining Header works fine withthe folowing Preamble: \usepackage{fancyhdr} \thispagestyle{fancy} \lhead{Institution: _ \\Seminar: \\Dozentin: .\\Referent: Holger Zebner} \chead{} \rhead{WS 02/03, 21.11.2002 } But when I put my title text in the title environment (select > title) the above defined header disappears. I tried out "titlehead", but this shows only a left justified and on-lined header. I need 4 lines and one part to be left justified and one part to be right justified. An all should come before the title. look at http://www.educat.hu-berlin.de/~voss/lyx/fancy/header.phtml#plain Herbert
