Yes, I've started getting this error with the 2.1 svn version. If I export the pdflatex code, that's fine, and it'll compile correctly from the command line. What operating system do you use? Are you using 2.0.1? I assume that this happens for any lyx file, even the simplest ones? With a fresh install of LyX, I create a new document and attempt to convert it to PDF. It never converts (after 30 minutes of waiting).
