That is only applicable with ophones. i don't think iPods have vibrate
switches, unless that has recently changed? The last time i saw an ild it
did not have this switch.

Take care.

If you plug your phone in, Sorry, I meant iPod. Anyways, if you plug that
 in
and turn it on you should if it did not totally brake make the little
 sound
that means that it is plugged in. and it should appear in iTunes.

Good luck. and keep us posted. I hate when tech dies, especially if I need
 it for class.

have you tried this:
1. Unplug your iPod. 2. Hold down the power and home buttons, and plug in
your iPod. 3. Wait until iTunes detects your iPod then tease the home button
but keep the power button held. When iTunes detects the iPod in recovery mode,
release the power button and follow the prompts from iTunes. I think I have
that procedure correct although it's been a while since I did this.

Re: how to get ipod touch out of recovery mode, please help!

2013-02-22 Thread Sarah k Alawami
That is only applicable with ophones. i don't think iPods have vibrate
switches, unless that has recently changed? The last time i saw an ild it did
not have this switch.

Take care.

Also, if you don't know if your device is on, doesn't the mute switch cause
the unit to vibrate when you flick it back?
That would tell you if it is on or not.

If you plug your phone in, Sorry, I meant iPod. Anyways, if you plug that in
and turn it on you should if it did not totally brake make the little sound
that means that it is plugged in. and it should appear in iTunes.

Good luck. and keep us posted. I hate when tech dies, especially if I need
 it for class.

Well the thing is that there is no way for me to know whether or not the
device is turned on or off. I did try to restart but nothing happened so
not sure whether or not I managed to turn it off really.

Can you try and restart the machine. My phone has done that a time of 3.
If that does not work then keep us posted and someone else can hopefully
 give a suggestion.

 Hello listers,

Somehow my iPod touch got into recovery mode…God knows how that
happened! I was listening to internet radio with it and all of a sudden,
the device locked up. I plugged the iPod into my mac and ran iTunes. I
then got a message saying that the iPod touch was in recovery mode and
that it needed to be restored in order for it to work with iTunes. I
tried restoring it but I got a message saying that this device was not
eligible for the requested build and could not be restored…I am not sure
what to do anymore so I would really appreciate it if someone could shed
some light on this. If all else fails, I will take the iPod to work on
Monday and see if one of my coworkers can help out.
Thanks for any help and have a good one!

 J’ai rêvé ma vie
 les yeux grands ouverts
 me suis réveillé
 quand c’était l’hiver
 La neige était là
 le ciel était gris
 le vent était froid
 je n’ai pas compris
 Mes beaux soirs d’avril
 que j’avais rêvés
 où donc étaient-ils
 j’en aurais pleuré
 Faites-moi plaisir
 commencez sans moi
 laissez-moi dormir
 … j’étais fait pour ça…
