Re: [MacGroup] iTunes start and stop
The stop only works in a playlist. If you are in the main library of iTunes there is only play and pause. -Original Message- From: macgroup-boun...@erdos.math.louisville.edu [mailto:macgroup-boun...@erdos.math.louisville.edu] On Behalf Of Anne Cartwright Sent: Tuesday, December 21, 2010 5:59 PM To: Topics related to Apple and Macintosh computers Subject: Re: [MacGroup] iTunes start and stop I know which is the Apple key; the command keys. An early reference to an 88 version of something-or-other (1988?). I believe I've heard that having given rise to the Command key. -- russ preston On Dec 21, 2010, at 2:50 PM, Dan Crutcher wrote: The Apple key is now known as the Command key. Re: [MacGroup] iTunes start and stop
Bernard, I wondered about that, too. I faintly remembered old times, when it did not say command .I still think they should put an apple there rather than this little whatever that is called, which I don't know either. I like that apple Tom has beside his name. That should be on the command key. marta On Dec 21, 2010, at 2:41 PM, ATT wrote: Is it the key on both sides of space bar. Re: [MacGroup] iTunes start and stop
Anne, I am on version 10.1.4, OSX 10.6.5 I have never encountered what you are describing, to play or stop you click on the play arrow in the upper left corner of iTunes, click the arrow to stop, or use the spacebar to stop and start. I quite iTunes in the middle of a song and reopened without it resuming the song. You have written about a few things being wacky recently, if I had these things happening I would rebuild the directory with DiskWarrior. Anytime I start getting nutty things going on doing the DiskWarrior dance stops it cold. Maybe I have just been lucky.
