2021-02-06 Thread Mary Otten
Thanks for the suggestions. I doubt his iCloud is full, because it seems to me
that when my iCloud was almost full, I got a message. And he hasn’t had any
such messages. He also doesn’t have a Mac, which is where I ran into trouble
with the iCloud in the 50 GB plan. Anyway, I’m forwarding all suggestions.
Thanks.

Music app on Mac 11.2 after updating from 10.15

2021-02-06 Thread Muhammad Fayed
Hi,

I’ve an issue after updating to Big Sur that the organization of playlists is
different from that I made on Catalina.

Second, each time I open the Music app, it requests two choose a library. It
recognizes two libraries, one from 2017 and another from 2019. I don’t know
what is the difference exactly except that I can not open that in 2017 because
I can’t reach the correct file. I think the difference is in playlists and
songs I added in 2019.

Thank you so much,

Regards,

Mohamed E. Fayed

Unable to back up iPhone, because “some files are not available“

2021-02-06 Thread Mary Otten
I’m sending this on behalf of a friend. He has been unable to back up his phone
since December of last year. When he tries, he gets a message back that says
that some files are not available. And then the whole back up aborts. This is
using iCloud. He has emptied his abs switcher and restarted his phone all to no
avail. It’s plugged in and on Wi-Fi. No luck. Any ideas?
Mary

Try simply double tapping on the button, if the results don’t immediately pop
up, try touching the screen or swiping to the end of the page.
The web site or app can be an issue depending on its accessibility.

Logitech makes several good USB HDWebCams that worked well with a Mac mini.
Some are available with a microphone if that's what you want.
I got mine from Amazon. It was under $100.

New Mac.

2021-02-06 Thread Anders Holmberg
Hi!
I am thinking of upgrading to the one of the M1 Macs.
So i am comparing the Mac mini with the MacBook Air.
These are the ones I want.
The Mac Pro has a Touch Bar so that’s not something I never going to use.
But that’s just me.
aTHey’re a bit to expensive also which is something I have to consider but I am
a bit wondering.
If I get me a Mac I would like to have as much storage as possible.
Its going to be quite expensive which is strange as you can by a 2 tb ssd for
less money if you have a pc.
Anyway I wonder how many USB ports and thunderbolt ports there are on the
respective Mac mini or MacBook Air.
And if I get a Mac mini I would like to have a good camera so I can use
together with zoom.
All the best from a cold Sweden.
/A

pop-up buttons on the iPhone

2021-02-06 Thread Lorie McCloud
How do you handle a pop-up button on the phone? seems like it used to be double
tap and hold but that isn't working for me now.

thanks.
Lorie
