Ray: This is erroneous info. I've done OCR with Vuescan. Only, it won't do orientation for you. Been there, done that, still no t-shirt. Krister, You have to set the format to Text under the Input section, and check the checkbox for "OCR text" under the Output Section. Remember that the checkbox is to the right of the label, not to the left, like you might expect. Also, set the language to Swedish in the Prefs section. You don't need to open anything else then VueScan to begin. Hope this helps! Uh, well, sounds to me like your not running OCR at all. Hello there. I'm trying to use VueScan to see if it's as good as Abbyy when it comes to ocr and that kind of stuff. I have a problem, though. I can't seem to open textedit and see the results of the scanned documents, even though i have chosen to have textedit as external text editor.
