I was. But, she was used to using IPhones, not Mac book pros. I guess it
was training on the job.

Hi,

If you were not speaking with an Apple Accessibility representative, I
suggest that you try them instead. The number is 877-204-3930 in North
America. If you are elsewhere, there are some other numbers available.

Hi,

Subscribing to a Podcast through iTunes is totally accessible. Not sure
what planet the Apple Service rep was on when he told you this. Yes, in
some cases on the web, VO does not read custom elements designed by some
developers, but within the Store pane of iTunes, subscribing to a Podcast
is
not one of those situations. If you are in the Podcasts section of the
iTunes Store, there should be an item that reads 0.00 if the Podcast is
free
and some other price if it is not. VO-space on that item and a
confirmation
dialog should appear. Confirm and it's done. Alternatively, if you need
to
verify that a Podcast has been subscribed to, it should be listed in your
Podcasts pane of your main iTunes Library. In this area, you should also
be
able to download additional episodes and change your Podcast settings.
