Title:
Allow manipulation of SmartEvidence framework via admin interface

Status in Mahara:
  Fix Committed

Bug description:
Currently (in 16.10) we can upload a .matrix file containing a Smart
  Evidence framework

But once it is uploaded we are unable to alter it via the web
  interface (only through the database).

What would be good is an admin interface that at least allowed for the
editing of the field names and the re-ordering of evidence elements as
  well as adding new elements

A thing to take into account is should one be allowed to edit a Smart
Evidence framework once it is already being used and if so what things
are ok to edit at that point and what things can be edited before it
  is in use.

I'm thinking order and field values can be edited before it is in use.

Once someone is using it then the order / fields for current framework
should be set - but maybe possible to add new standard elements to
  framework.

Also it would be good to have a 'copy framework' option to be able to
  duplicate a framework

I see there are these files

  htdocs/js/jsoneditor/src/themes/bootstrap3.js

  And

  htdocs/testing/frameworks/behat/html-formatter/bootstrap.min.css

So we need to look into this some more to see if we are actually using
the v3 files and if so can we get things working with bootstrap v4?

If not can we remove them from the system?

Panels on report "Information overview" shouldn't be colorized

Status in Mahara:

Bug description:
Regression after upgrade to Bootstrap 4

When you go to Admin menu -> Reports (/admin/users/statistics.php),
the "Information overview" report is the default. The individual
columns are shown in blue panels (in the Default theme), when there
shouldn't be any panel highlights (see attached screenshot with what
  it looks like in 18.10).

  To replicate:

  1. Log in as site admin.
  2. Got to Admin menu -> Reports.

Expected result: The page looks like in Mahara 18.10.
Actual result: Each column has an outline and a heading background.

This will need to be checked in all themes.

Pointless access keys used in the menus

Status in Mahara:

Bug description:
Access keys are used to quickly jump around different pages using
keyboard shortcuts (Alt+Shift+ on firefox). Since the
navigation has changed a lot int he last few versions of Mahara, a lot
of these access keys are now outdated and in some cases, obsolete.

Access keys that control buttons that open and close submenus arent
needed any longer as they dont actually link to any other pages.

Only the ones like 'D' for Dashboard should stay as these link to
  other pages.

The access key changes will also need to be updated in the user manual:
c: content - No longer exists
p: portfolio - now called pages and collections
there are no longer separate admin and regular access keys as both menus are
visible at all times

[Mahara-contributors] [Bug 1824608] Re: Correct placement of "Accept" and "Deny" buttons for group invitations

2019-04-16 Thread Steven
Accept and decline button display error - buttons are floated too far to
the left but are within the row block - text under buttons seem to be
too long before it breaks to the next line

Title:
Correct placement of "Accept" and "Deny" buttons for group invitations

Status in Mahara:
  In Progress

Bug description:
Issue after upgrading to Bootstrap 4.

When you are invited to join a group, the "Accept" and "Deny" buttons
are not correctly placed on Main menu -> Engage -> Groups (see
  attachment).

  To replicate:

  1. Create 2 users.
  2. Set up a group as user A.
  3. Invite user B.
  4. Log in as user B.
  5. Go to Main menu -> Engage -> Groups (/group/index.html).

Expected result: You see the "Accept" and "Deny" buttons at the top of
the box for the group for which the invitation is like shown in
  https://manual.mahara.org/en/18.10/_images/group_my_groups.png

Actual result: The buttons are floating as per the screenshot.

The jsoneditor and behat html-formatter look to have bootstrap3 files

Status in Mahara:
  In Progress

Bug description:
I see there are these files

  htdocs/js/jsoneditor/src/themes/bootstrap4.js

  And

  htdocs/testing/frameworks/behat/html-formatter/bootstrap.min.css
  that contains: Bootstrap v3.3.1

So we need to look into this some more to see if we are actually using
the v3 files and if so can we get things working with bootstrap v4?

If not can we remove them from the system?

TEST STEPS: HTML export

1) Log in as Mahara User1
2) Export the page mentioned above as HTML export
3) save file to your local drive
4) open the index page in a browser
5) Verify that the page displays the page instructions ✔BUG - No title

5) Import the Leap2a file and add the new Page mentioned above
6) View the newly created page
7) Verify that the page displays the page instructions ✔

Catalyst QA Failed Testing ✘

BUG - Page Instructions not apparent as Instructions when viewing as exported
HTML page

Summary - When viewing a page that has instructions in display mode, the
instructions are initally hidden - User must click the instructions link
to reveal the instructions. User know there must be instructions. When
viewing the HTML page, the instructions directly follow the page
descriptions and ther is no indication that the Instruction text is
actually instructions.

Recommend: adding a subheading or background colour to the page
instruction text to indicate to the user that the following text is
actually instruction text.
