Eventually, I solved the mystery. The duplicate messages have different Msg IDs, which made me suspicious. Hence, I add the "Source Mailbox" to my list view and found out that the duplicate emails had different source Mailboxes. The duplication showed up because I used "All Messages" (which include all source mailboxes) and not only to "Inbox" (which is only the Inbox mailbox from Gmail) as a parameter to the setting "of the following mailboxes." And the root cause was that a CRM system I use created a new Gmail mailbox for keeping track of email communication. [MlMt] Click to show mails from / to
Hi, I like the feature where I can just click an email address for a quick search. But there are two quirks: 1. I would like to see FROM and TO messages. Now I either see FROM or TO based on the header field the email address was clicked on. Using ALT or CTRL etc. doesn't work. Maybe this can be used? And a preference would be nice to chose to query for FROM and TO. 2. It looks like the search doesn't update / keep in sync the conversations view. -- Robert M. I think in S/MIME exist different types of certificates as I own one for signing but that can't be used for encryption. Not sure how this is handled. What is strange is this: I received an email where MM stated that it was successfully S/MIME decrypted. But I don't have any S/MIME encrypting certificate. [MlMt] S/MIME & PGP preferences
Hi, since I need both I have enabled both in the preferences. For S/MIME I have a signing certificate on a special USB device which requires a password to access it. My normal encryption & signing is done via PGP. The Problem is, that MM always sets S/MIME as default, when composing new mails, which triggers the password entry. I'm wondering about the "INV_RECP 10" which means that the key is not trusted. But I signed and trusted the key (locally), so it should be trusted. So, using "Trust Once" it seems the mail is send encrypted. But next time, the dialog comes back.
