masuk ke inbox yahoo.

Selain update spf dan mx record yang dilakukan kemarin, kami juga membuat aduan 
ke postmaster yahoo melalui https://senders.yahooinc.com/contact/

Mohon bantuan analisis nya, dari MDaemon kami gagal kirim ke email yahoo . 
Terlampir log smtp-out nya . Kami baru migrasi server MDaemon dari On Premise 
ke Cloud, dan error ini baru muncul pada hari ini. Selama 2 minggu ke belakang 
masih normal saja untuk kirim email ke yahoo.

[Mdaemon-L] Opsi Enable Remote Administration Server tidak bisa diklik

Dear Pak Syafril,

Mohon advise nya, kami melakukan install ulang aplikasi MDaemon. Untuk 
Worldclient sudah berhasil diakses, incoming outgoing email lancar. Namun untuk 
Remote Administration (https://localhost:444) belum bisa diakses.

Kami cek di aplikasi GUI MDaemon, klik menu file, opsi Enable Remote 
Administration Server seperti disabled (tidak bisa diklik).

Di Windows service, kami cek service MDaemon Remote Administration Server 
(dengan path to executable D:\MDaemon\WebAdmin\WebAdmin.exe) sudah running

[Mdaemon-L] Disable POP dan IMAP ke Spesifik User

Dear Pak Syafril,

Mohon advisenya apakah di MDaemon bisa mendisable protocol POP dan IMAP ke 
spesifik user tertentu? Jadi maunya user tersebut hanya bisa akses via 
WebClient (World Client).

Casenya seperti ini: kami aktifkan Dynamic Screen: Account Frozen dan user 
tersebut terkena account frozen karena dari log terindikasi banyak login gagal 
dalam waktu 15 menit lewat protocol POP/IMAP.  Setelah kami enable kembali dan 
update password, user bisa menggunakan lagi, namun esoknya ybs lapor lagi 
akunnya freeze. Perkiraan kami, dari log yang ada, kemungkinan ybs install 
email client di beberapa devices, namun tidak semua email client diupdate 
passwordnya.

Mohon advise best practice nya untuk case seperti ini pak.

nya berhasil, tetapi di menu Sent Items tidak keliatan terkirim ya email yang 
diforward tersebut.

Apakah di MDaemon memang seperti itu pak? Atau bisa dibuat supaya forwarded 
email tersimpan di Sent Items?

Terima kasih pak, iya setelah saya hapus DNS resolver tsb, proses incoming mail 
berjalan lancar lagi. Kami tidak ada ganti koneksi (ISP) pak, sudah pakai 
resolver DNS tersebut hampir 1 tahun ke belakang tidak ada issue.

> Lakukan check DNS resolver yang bisa dipakai mengikuti tips berikut,
> karena kalau tidak salah ingat uninet.net.id ini dulu melakukan filter
> terhadap public DNS kecuali ada permintaan dari user.

Terima kasih pak tipsnya, iya saya sebelummya sudah coba tool DNS Benchmark 
tsb, dan hasilnya DNS 9.9.9.9 dan 1.1.1.1 yang paling cepat resolve dari 
koneksi ISP kami, oleh karena itu saya gunakan di MDaemon.

Per kemarin dari SMTP-In log file banyak error log Socket error 10054 - 
Connection was reset by the other side! , sehingga user tidak bisa terima email 
dari domain external.

cek di log smtp-in, memang ada banyak percobaan pengiriman email, dan banyak

itu script update PTR masih bisa berjalan dengan normal kan pak?

Karena behaviour user di kami tidak ingin email di Trash / Deleted Message 
dihapus walau umur nya > 14 hari. Dan juga kami tidak mengaktifkan mail archive.

itu tidak ada file email yang dihapus kan pak walaupun di script midnight ada

Kami menemukan ada user yang menyimpan file di draft dengan size yang sangat 
besar

Padahal di Domain Manager -> Settings sudah di-set max message size 25MB.

Audit security kami menemukan SSL versi 2.0 dan 3.0 aktif di server MDaemon dan 
merekomendasikan untuk segera di-disable.

Apakah di MDaemon ada settingan untuk menonaktifkannya? Atau hal tsb adalah 
settingan di OS Windows Server nya sendiri?

Disamping SPF forwarding yang belum aktif, beberapa server domain perlu
"kenalan" dulu sehingga semua Mail server dengan IP baru akan ditolak sementara.
Salah satunya adalah office365.

Ditunggu saja beberapa hari setelah SPF forwarding aktif, nanti juga akan di
accept langsung.
Kalau ingin mempercepat maka perlu hubungi pengelola office365 melalui form

Mohon pencerahan dan analisisnya. Kami baru mengganti ISP sehingga IP Public 
MDaemon Server juga berubah.

Telah kami test, kalau kirim email biasa ke luar (Compose New Email) itu 
berjalan dengan lancar. Namun saya perhatikan di log apabila user mengaktifkan 
Mail Forwarding ke domain eksternal (cth: ke gmail, office365), email gagal

Mengapa lama memproses performing SPF lookup nya berbeda-beda? Di process id 
[089731] butuh waktu sampai 3 menit (karena query ke 3 DNS Server) sampai 
mendapat Result:none . Di proses id [089874] hanya butuh waktu 20 detik. Apa 
yang menyebabkan berbeda-beda dan bagaimana untuk menyeragamkan prosesnya 
supaya cepat seperti di proses id [089874]?

Dari hasil test saya barusan, yang bermasalah adalah setting SOA DNS yang tidak
(lagi) terdaftar di internet sehingga internet node (terkadang) kesulitan (lama)
resolve.

Diperbaiki saja setting Name Server, khususnya SOA DNS nya.

Terima kasih bantuannya pak, saya sudah coba perbaiki setting NS nya, dan 
sepertinya sudah ada peningkatan di waktu penerimaan email.

Pertanyaan berikutnya bagaimana mem bypass spf verification dari sender/domain 
tertentu, karena saya lihat di log cukup memakan waktu juga untuk memproses 
emailnya (+60 detik utk setiap dns response exceeded). berikut ini contoh log

Yth Pak Syafril,

User kami seringkali terlambat terima email dari domain eksternal (gmail, 
yahoo, dll) , bisa terlambat 30menit s/d berjam-jam. Mohon analisisnya pak. 
Namun kasus ini tidak ditemukan :

  *   pada saat kirim email di malam hari / pagi hari
  *   saat dikirim dari domain kami yang dihosting di office 365.
