That system was also useful for spoofing your passengers, telling them that of course such an old car had rain-sensing wipers. "It's a Mercedes." Stepping on the frog also cycled the wipers, and if you only did it a little the wipers would go, but no water would be pumped. First car I remember my parents owning was an AMC Rambler. It was a 4-door. They bought it new the year I was born and kept it until I was in 6th or 7th grade. I remember all of us piling in for a drive to watch the odometer roll over. It was a pretty reliable car, simple enough that the mechanic at the local Texaco station could do a good job with tune-ups and repairs. Rust was taking its toll and they sold it to a neighbor who owned a pizzaria. He used it as a delivery car for another year or two and that's the last I saw of it. You know, I've recently (like over the last year) noticed that Harbor Freight smells better and that their stuff doesn't have the chinesium smell like it used to. Dad and I bought a stick welder for camp last month after I broke the seat mount on my '52 Farmall Super M. That along with some cheap 6011 fixed the seat a treat basically with no fuss. I do need to get a chipping hammer to go with it and if I was using it a lot I'd want an autodarkening helmet but its a pretty dang good welder. The generator sure knows its there, I've never heard anything else drag the generator down like that welder... https://photos.app.goo.gl/yu8MS3Uy6z8tNKBJ9The picture doesn't do it justice, the weld is pretty good. That whole tab was snapped off, it was pretty exciting to be in the seat when it happened, especially with the "bushog of death" running behind me... -Curt On Wednesday, July 29, 2020, 9:36:13 AM EDT, Dan Penoff via Mercedes wrote: I wonder if the card smells like cheap rubber (Chinesium)? > On Jul 29, 2020, at 9:30 AM, Mitch Haley via Mercedes > wrote: > > Buy Chinesium! > 10% off your first purchase! > 5% noncash back! > 0% interest on major purchases! > > https://harborfreight.com/credit > > ___ > http://www.okiebenz.com > > To search list archives http://www.okiebenz.com/archive/ > > To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: > http://mail.okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com > ___ http://www.okiebenz.com To search list archives http://www.okiebenz.com/archive/ To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://mail.okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com ___ http://www.okiebenz.com To search list archives http://www.okiebenz.com/archive/ To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://mail.okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com
